EUROPE: PUSHING UKRAINE’S SUICIDE
Reality is only truly observable by those with eyes to see and ears to hear. With an agenda that must deny obvious truths the willingness to recognize fact disappears, replaced by a callous cynicism.
The situation occurring now in respect of the leadership of the EU and Ukraine is a supremely unedifying sight. On the surface level we are all invited to believe that the current crop of European leaders (at least those heading the EU and Britain, Germany and France) have the best interests of Ukrainians at heart. However, look a little deeper and you will find this isn’t so at all. In fact their every statement, policy decision, appeal and act is to the massive detriment of the Ukrainian people and ONLY serves their own narrow interests.
The paragraph above will be immediately rejected by anyone who is so totally emotionally committed to the idea of supporting Ukraine and defeating Russia and who subsequently believes that those spoken of above are the potential saviors of Ukraine. For them Ursula von der Leyen, Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz and Emmanuel Macron are absolutely heroic due to their defense of Ukraine. They could not be more wrong or misguided in this respect. These political figures who such people admire so much are directly implicated in the deaths of both Ukrainians and the potential death of their entire nation.
Contrary to the incessant optimism of western politicians and media pundits and the websites they frequent where a constantly upbeat message concerning the Ukrainian conflict is heard the reality on the battlefield tells a completely different story. The Russian army constantly increases in size, refreshed by a constant flow of volunteers. It is consistently supplied with all the weaponry and ammunition it needs and every day pushes forward ever faster, gaining more ground. The Ukrainian army by contrast has lost the vast majority of its best troops and the regime in Kiev is struggling to snatch enough men off the streets to replace them. Things on the battlefront are going from bad to worse for the Ukrainians due to the Russian army having finally broken through the majority of the extremely strong fortifications set up by the Ukrainian regime and its NATO sponsors since 2014. The Ukrainian army is in fact within months of total collapse.
While the defeat of the Ukrainian regime and its forces becomes more obvious by the day, with the Russian army taking more ground inexorably and with casualties, desertions and surrenders rising in a Ukrainian army falling apart, and with every possible feasible “gamechanger” weapon having been supplied by the West, what do we find the European sponsors advocating? “Carry on dying and losing land. Let’s all just do more or the same.” Instead of confronting the battlefield realities now quite clearly and ever more evident on the battlefield, these cosseted European elites find it far more comfortable to ignore all them and hold fast to their totally false narratives. Narratives that maintain a fantasy world that for now, works only to protect themselves, their reputations and institutions such as NATO. Their policies in no way protect the Ukrainians, quite the reverse.
The Ukrainian army is losing manpower at a devastating rate. The extremely solid fortifications that were built with every possible assistance from all western/NATO nations since 2014 are being breached daily. Approaching and breaking through these fortifications has taken time due to the major change in warfare drones have brought about. Military vehicles are commonly spotted and attacked long before they arrive in the proximity of their targets. Despite this the Russian army is breaking ground faster than ever now that the majority of fortifications have been overcome. Once the 1000 km line of serried fortification lines is terminally broken through at the most strategic points there will be little but bare fields for the Russian army to traverse until it reaches the banks of the Dnieper river.
Russia has every possible military advantage over the rapidly shrinking military power of Ukraine. This is one of the many factors western audiences are kept totally ignorant of by western political and media elites. In terms of troop numbers, air power, drone and artillery advantage, missile arrays, munitions supply, logistical support and troop morale Russia is supremely dominant and it shows. There is not the remotest possibility that the Ukrainian army can halt the now quickening Russian advance, let alone take back lost territory. Yet the Europeans want this suicidal path the Ukrainians are on to continue indefinitely.
Talk of a ceasefire, heard for so long now from the Europeans is simply code for freezing the present situation where the Ukrainian army is being defeated in order to reequip, rearm and reinforce with a view to continuing to initiate the war once more at a later date. This is totally obvious to anyone paying close attention rather than believing in the fairy stories told by western mass media. The Russians want a negotiated end to the conflict and subsequently a permanent peace. They have stated their terms, the Russian-speaking Donbass to be recognized as part of the Russian Federation, Ukraine never to join NATO, Ukraine to be demilitarized and Ukraine to be denazified. In addition the full ethnic rights of Russian-speakers to be reinstated in Ukraine along with the restoration of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Once achieved Russia will abandon its military operation an there will be peace. Permanent peace.
While the Europeans oppose the inevitable outcome above they will continue to urge the Ukrainian people to continue committing suicide in this unwinnable war. There are no scenarios where the Ukrainian army can hold its present positions, none where it can maintain its manpower, none where it can receive the amount of weaponry or ammunition it needs, and none where the morale of its troops can be effectively raised. The fact is that everything has been tried by Ukraine’s western sponsors and everything has failed. It is a crystal clear, transparent fact that any deal offered by Russia in the future will be worse than that available now and that were available in 2015 and 2022. None. Every day the Russian army moves forward. Every day the Ukrainians lose more men. There is nothing the Ukrainian regime or its sponsors can do about either... except accept the terms now on offer from Russia.
Will the regime leadership finally put the interests of the Ukrainian people first rather than its own or that of its sponsors? Or will it continue sending its population to die in a war already lost as the well-heeled European elites urge them?
