MORE BILLIONS NOW DESTINED FOR THE UKRAINIAN BLACK HOLE
When you are in a hole stop digging. But the current litter of European piglets have scraped together enough money to keep digging, even though they will lose their dirty little paws in the process...
After much wrangling over which illegal method to employ to deliver more billions into the Ukrainian black hole EU members have agree to waste another 90 billion of their taxpayer’s hard earned cash.
Forget more or better schools, hospitals, roads and infrastructure of all kinds. Forget about healthier lifestyles, improved pensions (or even pensions that keep up with inflation) and any thought you had of saving for a rainy day.
Europe is set to go down the plug hole along with Ukraine.
Forty billion of this 90 billion “loan” will most likely go to paying back an earlier 40 billion given to the corrupt Ukrainian regime. Is the EU paying back its self?
Ukraine will never pay this “loan” back. In effect it is a gift.
As far as can be ascertained there will be no scrutiny to check where this “loan” ultimately reaches the pocket of someone in Ukraine. Some billions will flow to NATO to order or buy weapons from the USA for provision to Ukraine. Where most of them will be promptly blown to pieces by the Russian army. Many billions will go to pay the salaries of Ukrainian politicians, workers, officials and army. How much will be siphoned off to bank accounts in tax havens worldwide is anyone’s guess.
And the many billions arriving in Ukraine will reach there in the middle of an ongoing corruption scandal implicating people within Zelensky’s close circle of friends who appear to have been dipping their greedy fingers into earlier donations from their western “friends”.
The 90 billion agreed on falls far short of the 140, or 210 billion figures that have been talked of in terms of potential gifts to the Ukrainian regime. The larger sums were calculated to be sufficient to keep the regime and its army fighting for another two years. Many have speculated however that even the larger sums would be unlikely to last longer than the end of next summer. How long will 90 (or is it only 50?) billion get the regime if they are right? Four months perhaps? Four months in which we will undoubtedly see Ukraine shrink even further and faster than before as the Russian army continues to bring about the collapse of Ukrainian army resistance.
So what does all this largesse get Ukraine… or the EU for that matter?
Little to nothing.
What does it get the taxpayers of the EU?
Nothing.
Though the above is not quite right…
It gets them the specter of looming unemployment, deindustrialization, economic decline, lowering of living standards, discontent and increasing protest on the streets, political instability and a shuddering descent into an abyss of unstoppable collapse.
Welcome to the continuing insanity and economic suicide of Europe led by the imbecilic and endlessly reckless creatures known as Friedrich Merz, Sir Keith Starmer and Emmanuel Macron.
EUROPE. Are you awake?
Rid yourselves of these current political “piglets” at the earliest possible opportunity… or risk being flushed straight down the toilet of history along with Ukraine!
