PUTIN'S MASTERPLAN - GEOPOLITICAL TECTONIC PLATES IN MOTION

A masterstroke of geopolitical engineering is underway.

An interconnected strategy to arrange a near complete divorce from the western world by Russia has been set in motion by Vladimir Putin.

Through the much-needed mechanism of the Russian intervention in Ukraine almost all else has fallen into place.

Many vital bi-products of this initial act are transpiring in an almost perfect sequence which will lead to Russia standing firmly and supremely successfully within the Eurasian context and to a previously unbelievable extent outside the Western one.

Putin was unable to achieve this long desired and planned-for strategic movement at any time before the most recent of times. Each element of financial, military, social and economic environment required to be in place, readied for the transition.

The final pieces of the puzzle that was in the great man's mind required to be put in place not by him, not by Russia, but by the very western powers who he would guide into placing them exactly where he wished them.

To initiate the required changes himself would have put the entire project at risk. Too many dangers existed from those who had strong and selfish reasons to stay connected to the West. He needed patriotism to become stronger and personal desires to become weaker. Making the changes himself would risk the instigation of a backlash from those who had in essence sold their souls to western concepts of success and lost the selfless feelings of duty to the Russian nation and the Russian people.

He required the impulse for the divorce to come from the West, from the elites of the West who had already shown their loathing of him and all he stood for in the creation of a multipolar world that would totally undermine their craving for the unipolar world they believed should be theirs as of right.

Pushed ever further into a corner by those Putin persisted in calling 'partners' there was never a moment when the West realised that the arch-strategist would turn the tables on them and win the game outright. Meanwhile, Putin created the most devastating weapons against his would-be tormentors, financial, economic and military weapons in the main while creating the defensive political changes that would exorcise western influence in that field also.

Russia would move as if on its own tectonic plate eastward while mounting great walls of defence in depth against the western hordes of aggressors who he would leave ranting in frustrated anguish and collapsing economies. Friends in the east and south embraced him still and the economic might of Russia as channelled through her tremendous resource potential.

Ukraine was a running sore to be dealt with, one of the very last vulnerabilities Putin turned to to fix. It was also the lever by which he would get the elites of the western world to arrange the divorce he required. The response they had to this masterstroke, fixing myriad issues in one fell swoop, was exactly those changes that he could not administer himself, either could not, or too much political risk lay in doing so.

The western powers would play right into his hands. They would initiate the comprehensive divorce he required to start a new life for his nation, a life in the arms of those he can trust.
