We all owe something to Donald Trump despite his being an obvious malignant psychopath. He has exposed for all to see that democracy in the USA is a complete sham, a pretense designed only to deceive.
The USA has long been a dictatorship pretending to be something more. Whether you call those in control of that dictatorship the one percent or the Epstein Class, that is what it has been in our lifetimes and much further back in time than that. Donald Trump will have been very aware of this long before his first run for the presidency. Trump is a figure that can’t be distinguished from a Mafia Don. He knows every criminal trick in the book to play any system going. Through a complete devotion to deception and without a trace of honesty he has gamed every person and situation he has been involved with.
Donald Trump came to believe he was all-knowing and omnipotent. With no conscience and zero empathy and a willingness to lie without limit he has been able to cheat and deceive his way to whatever he conceived in his own mind to be success. He has without abused every possible person and situation he has ever been connected with in some way, whether large or small. With some he has played a longer game using every trick in his book to manipulate them to provide what he needs at any given moment. When he became president of course that power to manipulate became immeasurably increased. He suffered a humiliating defeat when he failed to get reelected after his first bruising presidency. Getting the power of the presidency back he is determined to use it and to the maximum. He is essentially acting as a dictator now, bypassing or ignoring any limits that might restrict his freedom of action.
The administration of Donald Trump is a tool for him but as he sees it a very blunt one. He is not someone who delegates. He “knows” no one can do anything better than him. He “knows” that he is a ‘stable genius’ with godlike intelligence that can work wonders (essentially for himself) if he is just set free to do what he likes. Many of his most ardent supporters believe this too. In a live-mic incident in recent times he was caught saying he admired dictators such as the ‘Rocket Man’ of North Korea and that he should have those powers to dictate to others without question. Anyone who has listened to Trump carefully any time since 2015 knows without telling that Trump believes he should be U.S. Dictator, not merely ‘Commander in Chief’, that’s not a powerful enough expression of domination for him, he conceives himself to be worthy of much more.
If it wasn’t obvious in the past it is now. The USA is ruled, governed or controlled, whatever expression you want to use, by a regime. Yes, you get to vote for which figureheads you would like to take a turn at the helm every four years, but arriving at the same system, one where the rich, powerful insiders continue to rule, is inevitable. Those who have seen through the blather surrounding the media bubblesphere which creates a pretense of democracy around what’s happening, rage against the truth, doing everything they can to inform others. These hapless warriors for the truth are almost universally seen as crazy activists, lowlife, madcap radicals, conspiracy theory freaks and barely sane losers, outsiders who can’t fit in and so wail and scream about some fantasy that bears no relation to the average life of the majority. These are the comfortably conditioned, quite happily oblivious to anything outside their own relatively, what-me-worry, cozy lifestyles. They are too busy getting-it-on within their consumption bubble to give a damn.
Due to the above we get people like Trump elbowing their way to the top on a wave of lies and dirty deals. And of course no one gets to the top in politics these days without such lies and dirty deals. No more forever wars. Remember that lie? Just in the last few days this Donald Trump exercised whatever is left of his grey matter and said this on social media:

Dictators don’t have to remember what they said in the past. Truth? Lies? It doesn’t matter. They needn’t think about consistency. They say and do what they want in the moment and to hell with anyone who doesn’t like it. That’s a true dictator. I do whatever I like whenever I like because my insights are supreme, stemming from my genius mind, and naturally being all-knowing I am always right. The past? No. There is only now. And only me here to create the future. Be glad. Be worshipful. Praise me as you would a god. Or suffer the consequences of my wrath.
How do Americans like being in a dictatorship at the mercy of a regime? That depends on whether they are profiting from them or not. Those in the 1% will hardly issue a squeak of protest. The next 50%+ will probably just keep their heads down, keep enjoying whatever disposable income their jobs allow and say virtually nothing also. Oh they may do a little safe griping now and again by the water stand or coffee pot but do anything but wait years to vote next time, no. Below this 51% we have the 48% who are too busy trying to scrape a living and largely uninterested in whether they have democracy or dictatorship. Nothing ever changes no matter which talking heads of whichever political persuasion abuse their ears whenever they get a chance. Their lives are hard, the system sucks and they just concentrate on getting by.
At the other end of the spectrum from the top 1% we have the bottom 1%. They stand with the totally dispossessed but are not of them. These are the minds that are awake. Not woke but very definitely awake. They have seen through the mass media bullshit, the political clown show, the sex predator elites and the Olympic games level liars of so-called U.S. government. They have lost their conditioning, they see clearly, all rose-tinted spectacles concerning “democracy” and decency regarding the upper echelons of U.S. society have long been crushed underfoot. These are those considered to be crazies, mad men and women, ranting ravers and disaffected, dysfunctional, fanatics, losers who are simply unable to take advantage of the wondrous opportunities offered by The Great American Dream. Yet these are the only fully and truly aware and awake individuals who have recognized the truth of the The Great American Nightmare, of the shallow, wafer-thin, facade of criminal-level falsehoods that constitutes the entire fabric of American politics. They rage and rage protesting this mass nightmare of lies that they see clearly can only end one way, in an inevitable crushing defeat where all others suddenly awake... far, far too late.
