Ukraine has lost over 300 soldiers, a tank and two Bradley infantry fighting vehicles in Russia’s Kursk Region over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
“Over the past day, the Ukrainian armed forces’ losses amounted to over 300 soldiers, a tank, two US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, two armored vehicles, four armored combat vehicles, eight cars, and two electronic warfare stations have been eliminated,” the ministry said.
Europe, US Spent 'Dreadful' $322.2Bln on Ukraine - Orban.
Europe and the United States have spent a total of 310 billion euros ($322.2 billion) on Ukraine, a "dreadful" amount, that could have been invested in European economy, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday.
"During talks with the Americans, I received data from it that Europe and the United States have spent a total of 310 billion euros on Ukraine so far. This is a huge amount, just a dreadful amount," Orban told Hungary’s Kossuth radio.
These funds could "do wonders" if they were invested in the European economy, Orban said, adding that they could have been used to reduce energy prices, accelerate economic growth in Europe, reduce the flow of illegal migrants from the Sahel, or develop the European defense industry.

Ukrainian gas saboteurs arrested in Slovakia – Putin.
According to Russian intelligence cited by the president, two men had maps relating to gas infrastructure of the EU country.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Ukrainian saboteurs have been apprehended in Slovakia while in possession of maps outlining the country’s gas infrastructure. He cited Russian intelligence services and did not provide details. Slovakia has yet to confirm the arrest.
Speaking at his annual end-of-year press conference on Thursday, Putin said the Ukrainian saboteurs had engaged in terrorist activities within Russia and now they are doing it in European countries.
“They feed from Europe’s hand and try to carry out terrorist attacks there,” he said. “This is their choice, but ours is to focus on cooperation.” Russian intelligence would request information about the incident through established partner channels, Putin concluded.
It is possible that the Russian President was referring to a possible sabotage plot targeting the Russian Druzhba oil pipeline. The pipeline connects Russian and Kazakh oil suppliers to consumers in Europe, branching off into Belarus. The northern part reaches Poland and Germany, while the southern branch goes to Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

According to the Hungarian Magyar Nemzet newspaper, national security authorities in Hungary started investigating a possible sabotage plot in early December. Hungary’s Anti-Terrorism Center was alerted by authorities in neighboring Slovakia that “an organized group” was operating in both countries carrying out a “field survey” in the vicinity of the pipeline. The activities could indicate “possible preparations for a terrorist attack” against the countries’ critical infrastructure, wrote the paper.
Back then Slovakian Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok said the country had expelled two men suspected of monitoring energy infrastructure targets including along a major pipeline carrying gas from Ukraine. The men were deported to Ukraine and Hungary, he added.
Earlier in May the Washington Post reported that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky suggested that Kiev “should just blow up the [Druzhba] pipeline.” citing leaked Pentagon documents. Bloomberg also reported that the EU was considering restrictions on Russian oil imports through the pipeline by Germany and Poland.

The transit agreement between Russia and Ukraine, which facilitates the flow of Russian gas to the EU, is set to expire at the end of this year. This has raised concerns among countries like Slovakia that rely on this route for their gas supplies.
Earlier Friday Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico warned of a potential gas crisis if Ukraine does not extend the transit agreement. He has also indicated that Slovakia may consider reciprocal measures against Ukraine if the gas transit is halted.
Zelensky’s testing our patience – Slovak MEP
In return for its lavish aid, the EU is getting only “more and more” demands and insults from Vladimir Zelensky, Milan Uhrik says
Vladimir Zelensky has “gone too far” in its dispute with Slovakia over natural gas, let alone turning Ukraine into a “zombie state” that’s entirely dependent on the West, Slovakian MEP Milan Uhrik has told RT.
Bratislava and Kiev have ended up in a bitter row over supplies of Russian natural gas across Ukraine. The country has refused to extend its gas-transit deal with Russia, on which Slovakia depends for energy supply, and which is set to expire at the end of the year.
While the country, which borders western Ukraine, has enough gas in storage to make it through the winter, the impending end of transit likely spells trouble for Bratislava in the near future, Uhrik is suggesting.

“We have a valid contract with Gazprom which we want to fulfill but Zelensky is preventing us from doing so simply because he wants to harm our economy and simply because he wants more, I don’t know, finance or more weapons from our country, and this is what we do not agree with,” the MEP said.
With a recession “coming to the European Union,” it would be “very unwise to completely cut off from Russian cheap energy sources,” Uhrik also warned.
People are getting angry [at] Zelensky because this has gone too far. He is simply testing our patience, because we did nothing wrong and yet he decides to destroy or continue with destruction, not only of Ukraine but also of our country.
The Slovakian lawmaker questioned the legitimacy of Zelensky’s “very sensitive and serious” decisions, pointing at the cancellation of presidential elections in the country, and to dwindling “support among Ukrainian people.”
Ukraine has long turned into a “zombie state” that is fully dependent on the collective West as a whole and the EU in particular, Uhrik pointed out. While the EU has helped Kiev “with more than €130 billion” (over $135 billion), in return it has been getting “even more and more demands” and “more and more insults,” with the latest row able to “easily raise a bigger conflict between Slovakia and Ukraine,” the MEP added.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.
