VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Russia claims ‘significant evidence’ of Kiev’s involvement in Crocus terrorist attack.
The head of Russia’s Investigative Committee has chaired a meeting on the March 22 atrocity.
Russian law enforcement has uncovered a potential link between Ukrainian special services and last month’s terrorist attack at a music hall outside Moscow, the Investigative Committee said on Monday.
The statement was released after a meeting chaired by Aleksandr Bastrykin, head of the Russian agency, where progress in the high-profile case was discussed. The report declined to provide details on what was said at the gathering, only citing “significant evidence” of Kiev’s involvement and repeating information that was already publicly available.
The attack involved four gunmen, who stormed Crocus City Hall ahead of a concert. They made their way to the main auditorium, shooting indiscriminately, and set the building on fire. Over 140 people were killed.
The four suspected perpetrators and seven alleged accomplices have been arrested. Russian officials have expressed a strong suspicion that the crime was masterminded by the Ukrainian government, which supposedly used radical Islamists to carry it out.
Kiev has denied the allegations, and initially claimed that Moscow was behind the attack. It later sided with Western nations, which maintain that ISIS-K, the Afghanistan-based offshoot of the international terrorist organization Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) had orchestrated the massacre. The group has claimed responsibility.

On Sunday, Russia’s FSB security agency released records of interrogations of the suspected gunmen, who claimed that they were given instructions to flee towards the Ukrainian border after the strike. The four were apprehended in the Bryansk region, hours after the massacre.
Russian investigators previously claimed to have found a money trail linking the alleged terrorists to Ukrainian nationalists.

Why Crimea Remains Key Strategic Black Sea Base for Russia After 80 Years.
80 years ago, Crimea was the Soviet Union's main naval base, which is still the case today as Russia continues its special military operation, Alexander Hill, a professor of military history at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada, told Sputnik.
On Monday, Russia marks the 80th anniversary of the start of the Red Army's Crimean offensive against Nazi invaders during World War II.
The operation to liberate the Crimea lasted from April 8, 1944 to May 12 of that year and ended with the total defeat of the 200,000-strong 17th German Army.
The Crimean Offensive "had strategic value and was a considerable success for the Red Army," Alexander Hill, a professor of military history at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada, told Sputnik in an interview.
The operation "had psychological benefits, not just for Soviet soldiers, but also in terms of sapping Romanian morale, because a lot of the defenders of the Crimea [fighting on the Nazis’ side] were Romanian forces," Hill said.
The offensive also provided "the potential for bombing the Romanian oil fields, from the Crimea, something that the Germans were very concerned about," according to the professor.
He touted the Crimean Offensive as "a very successful operation because the Red Army succeeded in a matter of weeks in doing what it took the Germans on the axis a number of months to do in 1941 and 1942, that is, the Red Army broke through into the Crimea relatively quickly, helped by the fact that there had been an amphibious landing at the end of 1943."
Hill also noted some "similarities" between the goals of the Crimean Offensive and the goals of Russia's ongoing special military operation.
“Obviously, the special operation is in part about protecting Crimea, which is important today for Russia, as it was for the Soviet Union during the [1941-1945] Great Patriotic War. It's obviously a key naval base. It's a major warm water port,” Hill noted.
He described Crimea as "a good base point for patrolling the Black Sea," recalling that during the Second World War, Crimea "also provided a threat to the Soviet advance westwards from the south." Nowadays, Crimea’s position in the special military operation similarly allows Russian forces to attack, from the south, into Ukraine," the professor pointed out.
There are also "similarities in the way the wars were being fought," he said. Despite the use of drones and high-precision weapons in the Ukraine conflict, "it's still a war of tanks, artillery and infantry," which were widely used during the Crimean Offensive, Hill said.
"It allows for the domination of the Black Sea region," the professor of military history concluded.

Latvia has been calling on the bloc to ban agriculture exports from its neighbor over the Ukraine conflict.
Latvia significantly increased the volume of grain bought from Russia in the first quarter of 2024, the state revenue service in Riga announced on Monday. The Baltic nation recently announced a ban on some Russian imports, but exempted two key products.
Riga has been one of the most outspoken advocates of imposing EU sanctions on Russian grain, citing the Ukraine conflict. This has not stopped Latvia from increasing its agricultural imports from Russia by almost 40% compared to the first quarter of 2023.
A total of 158,325 tons of grain – mainly corn – came in across the border in the first three months, 39.8% more than in Q1 last year, the Latvian customs agency told the Baltic News Service. The value of imports was estimated at just over €27 million ($29 million).
In addition to 135,539 tons of corn, Latvia brought in 8,530 tons of rye and 8,744 tons of wheat and wheat-rye mixture, among other grains. Rye imports rose by 70% year over year, while corn imports increased by 26.5%.

The authorities in Riga do not have information about how much of the imported grain was actually consumed in the country and how much was exported to other EU member states. Latvia has a population of 1.88 million, making a domestic-consumption explanation highly unlikely.
Moreover, 596,807 tons of Russian grain – mainly wheat, corn and barley – intended for other countries transited through Latvia in the first quarter of this year, 78.9% more than in the same period of 2023.
In February, the Latvian parliament imposed a ban on importing animal feed from Russia and Belarus, in order to show solidarity with Ukraine. However, the ban contained exemptions for two key products.
Sunflower cake, which is used as chicken feed by egg and poultry farmers, is not produced in the EU. Latvia buys about €50 million worth of it from Russia every year and likely exports some of it elsewhere into the bloc, according to the state broadcaster LSM.
Another product exempt from the ban is beet pulp with molasses, used to feed cows and pigs. Latvia imported more than €25 million worth from Russia last year.
Russia is one of the world’s largest exporters of grain, feed and fertilizer. While these commodities have not been outright sanctioned by the US and its allies on account of the Ukraine conflict, their transport by sea has been made more difficult by sanctions on commercial shipping.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

1How many realise we're in a quite different world from the one we thought we lived in? This realisation is an extremely sobering one, to see clearly that our leaders are nothing but compulsive liars.
The old adage about the truth being the first casualty of war is as apposite now as it ever was. In fact more so. There has never been a war where lies flew at almost the same rate as bullets from a machine gun. And these lies hit the target. Large swathes of western populations, even after all the exposed lies of their legacy media for decades now, seem to accept them as Holy Writ.
It seems that jingoism and hatred of some enemy or other ‘over there’ are as alive and well across the West as they ever were. Just point to the figure that has been subjected to relentless demonisation for decades and then stand back and watch as ‘Team UK’ or ‘Team USA’ or ‘Team EU’ start to hurl the same old hate one more time. The pointer generated from either or both CIA or MI6 psychological operations teams stops at this year's focus of hate and away we go again.
The jamboree of jingoism relies on three things to be fully effective, a) empty heads, b) maximum gullibility and c) emotional receptivity. Get all these lined up and watch the hating start. Then of course you relentlessly feed that hate with any number of carefully spiced articles, social media posts, documentaries and even full blown motion pictures. It works every time. If Hermann Goering were still here he would tell you so.

Think the Taliban, think Iraq, Libya, Syria… think Russia, think Putin. And all the others on the merry-go-round of hate that the CIA and MI6 fix you to if they can and then let you spin. It’s the regime change merry-go-round, spinning the “facts” to make them fit the agenda, getting the nuance right on every narrative so it’s all quite believable. Then spin it all a little more till you’re sick with hate and loathing, ready to make that enemy burn.
They lie and lie and lie, provided with an endless supply by the Hermann Goerings that infest Zelensky’s circle. The Russians did this, did that, and whatever else we can dream up. We did this to the Russians, we did that, and also that. All lies, but very effective lies when spun the right way and delivered at your daily breakfast table. Day after day after day.
