VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Many Ukrainian officials believe it’s “cool” to take bribes, Mikhail Podoliak has said.
Many public officials in Ukraine continue to engage in corrupt activities despite the ongoing conflict with Russia, Mikhail Podoliak, a senior aide to President Vladimir Zelensky, said on Saturday, adding that bribes remain a socially acceptable norm in society.
Ukraine has been plagued by rampant corruption for decades, ranking 116th out of 180 on the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index in 2022. Several high-profile corruption scandals over the past year have been a major source of concern for Kiev’s Western backers.
Asked if Ukrainian officials understand the gravity of the situation amid the conflict, Podoliak told ‘We – Ukraine’ TV: “If you’re living in a certain environment… where it is considered really cool to be able to take bribes and buy yourself [anything you want] when everyone else is in a… difficult situation or to just increase your wealth… everyone in your circle will consider [you to be] a ‘successful person,’” the presidential aide explained, arguing that this is the mentality of a “certain layer of the Ukrainian population.”
Podoliak also said there are some who distance themselves from the conflict, accusing people who enjoy their lives and go out to night clubs of being “irresponsible.”
“For some people, the war does not exist,” he said, claiming they “do not care if Ukraine will be preserved or not.” He estimated that up to 15% of the population is prepared to just become part of Russia.
Earlier this month, the Washington Post reported that Ukrainians are increasingly refusing to fight for what they consider to be a corrupt and incompetent government. According to the paper, Ukrainian men often attempt to avoid conscription through bribery, forgery, and fleeing the country.
In August, Zelensky launched a sweeping military purge by firing all regional military officials responsible for the country’s conscription campaign. This came in the wake of a massive corruption scandal in which 112 criminal cases were opened against officials in recruitment centers over bribery.
In November, the Ukrainian government replaced the head of the state cyber security and data protection agency, after prosecutors implicated him in an embezzlement scheme.
A poll conducted the same month showed that 63% of Ukrainians believe corruption is the country’s biggest problem apart from the war.
The EU Commission, which greenlighted accession talks for Ukraine last month, also demanded that Kiev implement a series of anti-corruption reforms.

Ukrainian Volunteers Went Abroad for Humanitarian Aid and Fled.
Martial law and a decree on general mobilization have been in force in Ukraine since February 2022, and men between the ages of 18 and 60 are not allowed to leave the country.
Ten Ukrainian volunteers used their permission to leave Ukraine for humanitarian aid and did not return, the head of the Kherson military administration, Alexander Prokudin, appointed by the Kiev regime, said on his Telegram channel.
"I gave orders to the representatives of the organizations 'United Ukraine' and 'Adzhalyk' to cross the border. They brought the promised humanitarian aid ... Then they decided to leave for the second time and not to return to Ukraine. We are talking about ten people," he said.
According to the official, the case is now being investigated by law enforcement agencies and the perpetrators will be prosecuted. In addition, Prokudin promised not to issue exit permits to representatives of these organizations.
Martial law has been in force in Ukraine since February 24, 2022, and the next day President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden from leaving the country. Summonses can be issued in a variety of places: on the street, at gas stations, and even in cafes. At the same time, law enforcement officials and the military are rounding up conscripts, often resorting to violence.
Meanwhile, the number of Ukrainian troops has thinned so much that the average age of conscripts has risen to 43, as per Time magazine. Recently, the possibility of mobilizing women has also been discussed, which, according to Western media, also speaks to the huge losses in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

How much state illegality can any nation’s leaders indulge in while they pose as saintly upholders of a ‘rules based system’? Like being a little bit pregnant they could be said to be somewhat honest. Most crooks would probably say the same. But when do little white lies become big black ones? Perhaps when it comes to upholding the human rights of refugees and refraining from taking money that doesn’t belong to you?
The idea has been floated in recent days that forcing men who have fled from the war in Ukraine back home to be sent to the front (where around 800 are dying or being wounded each day). This is the very reason they left Ukraine. The law on refugees is quite clear. You don’t send them back to a war zone where they risk being killed or wounded. But it seems that those with political power in the collective west are determined to do just this.
Then we have the next big idea that flouts not only international law but arguably all laws since they began to be codified. Thou Shalt Not Steal. The powers that be in the European Union have long been looking for a way to take the money of all Russians that have been frozen in European bank accounts. Whether you support the Ukrainian regime and wish every possible financial assistance be given it, or not, the name for this endeavour, however you dress it up, is theft.
There has been a certain clearly visible track record of this kind of activity stretching back to at least George W. Bush’s war in Iraq. Remember what they called torture after a long search for the right words to call it? Those words ended up being ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’.
Then there was the name the political elites of the USA found instead of prisoners of war in the previous campaign to that in Iraq. For those taken from Afghanistan (some of whom there was no evidence against, their having been offered up for a reward by other Afghanis) and brought to the camp in Guantanamo Bay. To have called them prisoners of war they would then have to be afforded some rights. But as ‘Enemy Combatants’ suddenly they need to be afforded no rights at all. Torture (waterboarding) could be applied to them along with other ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’.
You will recall the abuses at Abu Ghraib in Afghanistan which demonstrated what happens when you cover your crimes with alternative names that are convenient for PR purposes but which are deadly for those who suffer, mostly in silence, far from any oversight by the authorities who are normally assigned to ensure people are not treated in this way.
The political elites of the western world are obsessed with winning the war against Russia that they have chosen to fight. Despite Russia attempting for the best part of a decade to resolve its problems with the West via Ukraine, the political elites of the West had other ideas. An entire series of fabrications over that near decade were communicated via the western mainstream media to provide a totally false picture of events. Naming Russia as the aggressor is one of the fabrications that is still in use on a daily basis in the West.
Russia was the one attempting to find a peaceful solution to the situation in eastern Ukraine. It was Angela Merkal, Francoise Hollande, Petro Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelensky who were not. In recent times both Merkel and Poroshenko have said that they had no intention of fulfilling the United Nations mandated Minsk Accords but merely used them to provide time for Ukraine to re-arm.
Then there was the promise given by almost a round dozen of the West’s then political elites to Mikhail Gorbachev that NATO would not move an inch nearer Russia’s border if he agreed to present no barriers to the reunification of Germany.
How much trust do you think the Russians now have in anything western political elites say or do? To what degree do they believe that western political elites adhere to the moral, ethical and humanitarian tenets and laws which they claim to espouse? When those who claim to be the most reliable and honest do-gooders around are known liars how is ANY trust possible?
And when no one can point to any agreement broken by Russia that comes anywhere close to those above then you can see how the Russians view the political elites of the West and just how much trust they might have in any agreement those elites might offer. About as much as any state might put in what those who lead a banana republic might say or any agreement they offered.
