Reports have suggested that NATO training for Ukrainian troops is ineffective and does not help imbue Kiev’s forces with relevant combat skills.
But these training programs are not completely useless – they help Western companies make money under the pretext of helping Ukraine, Ret. Lt. Col. Earl Rasmussen, a US Army veteran and and international consultant, explains to Sputnik.
The money allocated by Western powers to Ukraine gets funneled to US and NATO training companies and NATO weapon manufacturers. “And I'm sure a certain amount of money is going to individuals or other organizations as well,” Rasmussen suggests.
Lacking the money to pay for NATO aid and training assistance, Ukraine apparently ends up giving up its land and “key industries” to the West to repay the incurred debts.
The whole Western military aid to Ukraine is essentially a “money laundering scheme.” Plus, not only “a certain percentage of pure cash that goes to Ukraine is scraped off the top,” but up to 30% of the weapons sent there end up on the black market.

Captured Ukrainian Reveals Rampant Gambling and Exploitation in the Ranks.
Ukrainian servicepeople are actively gambling in online casinos, and unit commanders are also engaged in this, in fact robbing their fellow soldiers, a captured Ukrainian border guard said in a video obtained by Sputnik.
The border guard, warrant officer Yaroslav Shevelyuk (call sign "Sheva"), told Russian security forces that the former commander of his unit, Lt. Zabiyaka, suffered from a gambling addiction.
"He borrowed money from people, substantial amounts, and played casino games on his phone. Then something happened, his phone was hacked, something went wrong, he was sent to another location. And he still hasn't returned the money to the people," Shevelyuk said.
A group of six Ukrainian State Border Service officers surrendered to Russia on Orthodox Christmas Eve on the border with the Belgorod Region in the Kharkov (Kharkiv) direction, a source in the Russian security services told Sputnik. Shevelyuk, a border guard inspector of the highest category, was among those who surrendered.

Earlier in the week, two other captured Ukrainian border guards from the group said in a video obtained by Sputnik that drug use and drinking to death were rampant among Ukrainian servicepeople amid their extreme fatigue and poor mental well-being.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Suffer Significant Losses Due to Low-Quality Ammunition.
Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said earlier that the cause of the shells detonating could be low-quality powder charges or a violation of ammunition storage conditions.
Ukrainian soldiers are suffering significant losses due to the use of low-quality ammunition and improvised explosive devices – at best, they "get their hands torn off and their faces burned," Ukrainian media reported, citing the head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Aerial Reconnaissance Support Center, Maria Berlinska.
Ukraine's Forces Hope For Ceasefire With Russia, Do Not Believe It Arrives Soon
In late November 2024, Ukraine's State Bureau of Investigation opened a criminal case after the supply of defective 120 mm shells to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As previously reported by Ukrainian media, servicemen complained about a low-quality batch of 120 mm shells produced by the state Ukroboronprom corporation. Later, Ukrainian journalist Yuliya Kiriyenko-Merinova said that Ukroboronprom had also supplied the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a batch of defective 82 mm shells.
Earlier, Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko*, referencing a report in the publication Zerkalo Nedeli (Mirror of the Week), highlighted that the Ukrainian government had invested substantial sums into developing domestic weaponry, including shells. However, the Ukroboronprom factory responsible for the project lacked the necessary capacity to produce compatible detonators, instead using incompatible ones that failed to operate effectively. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry allegedly kept this information from the public, remaining silent at each stage of the production process. As a result, only one out of ten shells detonated correctly.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.
