A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

The US and its allies cynically use extremists as a tool in the fight against Russia, the foreign minister has said.

The West is willing to ignore Ukraine’s obvious support for neo-Nazi ideology because it serves its purposes in the stand-off with Russia, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.
In an interview with the educational project ‘No Expiration Date’ published on Saturday, Lavrov stressed that Russia attaches great importance to preserving its historical memory and legacy, arguing that it remains one of “the guardrails of our sovereignty.” He expressed outrage that Ukraine, along with several other nations, was trying to “rewrite history.”
Those countries, Lavrov said, seek “to equate those who defeated Nazism with the Nazi hordes themselves,” saying that Ukraine had become an especially notorious example in this regard.
However, the resurgence of Nazi ideology in Europe started long ago, after the Baltic countries joined the EU and NATO in the early 2000s, Lavrov continued. He recalled that when Russia expressed concerns about the pace of integration, the West gave Moscow assurances that the Baltic states would become less “Russophobic” after joining the two blocs. However, the opposite happened, with support for Nazi ideology becoming more apparent in the region, the minister said.

“Soon after they were accepted into the ‘civilized’ European family, demonstrations and torchlight processions kicked off in honor of the Waffen SS Nazis,” Lavrov remarked.
Meanwhile, the West and the US turned a blind eye to Ukraine’s crackdown on Russian culture and the flourishing of neo-Nazi ideology in the ex-Soviet republic, the minister noted. “Duplicity and acquiescence... [and a desire to] forgive anything, including an open push to introduce Nazi theory and practice, have become common only because the West and the United States feel comfortable having [Ukraine] as a tool in the fight against Russia,” he stated.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said that Moscow’s key goals in the Ukraine conflict are the “denazification” and “demilitarization” of Ukraine. Another key objective is Ukraine’s neutrality, which implies abandoning its aspirations to join NATO. Russia views the expansion of the US-led military bloc towards its borders as an existential threat.

The country will be sold to foreign investors and its population replaced through immigration, the former Fox News host has claimed.
The US has “betrayed” Ukraine and will destroy the country by selling off its land and “flooding” it with third-world immigrants, American journalist Tucker Carlson predicted in an interview with former President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Jr.
In a video interview published on Friday, Carlson and Trump Jr. both agreed that US President Joe Biden had brought the world to the brink of World War III, and that the US is essentially “at war with Russia.”
“No-one’s articulated what victory in Ukraine looks like,” Trump Jr. said. “I don’t know what it means. Is it just like perpetual death of Ukrainians and Russians until they’re all wiped out and Blackrock comes in there and takes over all the farmland? That’s what it feels like to me.”
Blackrock is the world’s biggest investment company, and controls an estimated $10 trillion in assets. The firm is one of Ukraine’s largest foreign bondholders, and in 2022 signed a memorandum of understanding with Kiev stating that it would manage Ukraine’s post-conflict reconstruction.

After Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky signed a controversial package of land reforms into law in 2020, foreign investment firms like NCH Capital, BNP, and the Vanguard Group now control around 28% of Ukraine’s arable land, according to research by the Oakland Institute, an American think tank. Zelensky’s reforms were backed by the International Monetary Fund and US Agency for International Development.
“They’re already selling off lands in Ukraine to foreign investors, and they will flood Ukraine with third-world immigrants and Ukraine will not exist in 50 years,” Carlson stated. “There’ll be no Ukrainian nation. We betrayed them like no other country ever.”
Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly promised that he would end the Ukraine conflict “in 24 hours” if re-elected this November, telling a Libertarian Party conference last weekend that he intends to “quit spending hundreds of billions of dollars to fight other people’s wars.”

Trump has never fully elaborated on how he would do this, save for forcing Zelensky to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but recent reports by Bloomberg and the Washington Post suggest that he would leverage the US’ massive military assistance to Kiev to pressure Zelensky into accepting the loss of some of Ukraine’s pre-conflict territory.
However, Trump’s rhetoric on Russia has toughened in recent months, with the former president telling donors last week that he “would have bombed” Moscow when Russia’s military operation began in 2022. Trump did not lobby his Congressional allies to block a $61 billion aid package for Kiev in April, and said at the time that he would support lending, rather than gifting, money to Zelensky in future.

Zelensky ‘peace conference’ bans news outlets from post-Soviet states – media.
The event organizers have reportedly attributed their decision to “space limitations”.
Media outlets from most former Soviet states will be barred from covering the upcoming Swiss-hosted Ukraine peace conference, the Russian media outlet Octagon reported on Friday, citing an official response from the Swiss authorities.
The conference is scheduled for June 15-16 at the Burgenstock Resort near Lucerne. The venue chosen to host the event has “space limitations” which, along with the “security requirements,” prompted the organizers to limit media acreditations to 500, the report said.
According to Octagon, both Swiss and American security services are responsible for the safety of the event and for checking all journalists planning to attend.
Not a single journalist from Russia or other post-Soviet states, including Belarus, Armenia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, or the five Central Asian nations was accredited, according to the Russian media outlet. Reporters from Southeast Asia have faced restrictions as well, it added.
The Swiss authorities have not officially commented on the issue of media access to the conference. RT could not independently verify the Octagon report.

Russian officials have not been invited to the conference. Last week, Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky said Russia must not be present at the summit because it could seek to sway other countries and hijack Kiev’s agenda.
Russian officials earlier said that they would not attend in any case, citing the fact that the summit would revolve around the so-called Zelensky ‘peace formula’. The ten-point plan demands that Russia withdraw its troops from all territories Kiev claims as its own, agree to pay reparations, and that a tribunal be established to try Russian officials for alleged war crimes. Moscow has dismissed the initiative as “absurd” and “detached from reality.”
More than 160 countries have been invited, including members of the G7, G20, BRICS, and EU. Earlier on Friday, however, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that it would not be sending a delegation to the event. Beijing has argued that it is important that both Russia and Ukraine participate in any peace talks.
The leaders of several other BRICS nations – including Brazil and South Africa – will reportedly skip the event as well. US President Joe Biden is not scheduled to go to Switzerland, as he is expected to attend a fundraising event for the upcoming presidential election.

India-Russia Oil for Rubles Deal Another Sign of Rapid Dedollarization.
On Wednesday, it was reported that India’s largest private corporation Reliance Industries and the Russian energy company Rosneft signed a one-year agreement for up to three million barrels of oil per month that will be paid in Russian rubles, putting another nail in the coffin for the US dollar’s hegemony.
The transactions will be handled by India’s HDFC Bank and Russia’s Gazprombank, outside of the Western SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) payment system and immune to the illegal unilateral sanctions placed on Russia by the West.
After the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, Western countries greatly reduced their purchases of Russian oil and gas in a move that was intended, but failed, to cripple the Russian economy.
“Since the Western existential economic war of sanctions [against Russia] began in 2022, India’s imports of Russian oil have soared. In fact, the country’s imports of Russian oil have soared tenfold in just 2023,” explained security and international relations expert Mark Sleboda on Sputnik’s The Critical Hour. “So they are buying Russian oil. They’re [getting] a good price on it, making their products more competitive and Europe isn’t getting that cheap, reliable oil.”
While India’s purchase of Russian oil angered the United States, it has been hesitant to punish India because it sees it as a potential ally in a future war with China.
“The US keeps trying to rope India into fighting China, serving as proxies for it in their future war with China, which means they don’t want to alienate India too much,” Sleboda said.
The decision to make purchases in rubles rather than Indian rupees or US dollars represents another step in de-dollarization that has been spreading across the globe. In the late 1970s, the US dollar represented 85% of global reserve currencies. By 2022, that number had fallen to 58.4%, a trend that has been exacerbated by Western sanctions imposed by Russia and the illegal seizure of Russian assets held in US banks, a decision by the West that had led other world leaders to question the dollar’s dominance.
“Every night I ask myself why all countries have to base their trade on the dollar,” Brazilian President Luiz Inácio-Lula da Silva said during a speech in China last year. “Why can’t we do trade based on our own currencies? Who was it that decided that the dollar was the currency after the disappearance of the gold standard?”
If the US continues on this path, more countries will follow suit, Sleboda predicts. The more the West uses sanctions and payment systems as a weapon in foreign policy, “more of the world’s economy [will slip] outside of their grasp.”

Hundreds of protesters marched in the German capital, Berlin, on Saturday, demanding a halt to military aid for Kiev and the “dangerous” anti-Russia rhetoric. This comes on the heels of explosive statements from the German government earlier this week regarding Ukraine’s use of Western-supplied weapons for strikes deep inside Russia.
Footage from the demonstration shows protesters marching from Berlin’s Alexanderplatz with flags and banners reading: “Stop war and hate speech against Russia,” “Stop Russophobia in Politics and Media,” and “NATO is the aggressor not Russia.” Activists accused the German government of making political decisions “on orders from Washington,” and warned of the consequences of a direct conflict with Moscow.
“The German government is not sovereign... When you see how the German government destroyed its economy with agreeing with Washington… then you see Germany is not in control of the situation,” an activist who identified himself as George told Ruptly video agency. He added that the government’s decision to give Kiev “weapons that can reach Russia” makes Germany “a partner in this war,” creating a situation which is “very dangerous for Germany, for Germans, and the rest of the world.”
Another activist called on Berlin to “do everything it can to ensure that no war economy is necessary and that no land war comes.”
NATO and its Western allies have provided weapons and equipment to Ukraine, but maintained restrictions on their use. However, Kiev has recently intensified calls to relax the restrictions, especially those limiting its ability to strike targets in Russia. Several NATO states have spoken in favor of the move, including Germany.

Earlier this week, German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said Berlin believes Kiev’s “defensive action is not limited to its own territory, but [can] also be expanded to the territory of the aggressor.” On Friday, he went on to signal that Kiev can use the weapons supplied by the West to attack Russian border regions from which the Ukrainian army’s positions in Kharkov Region are attacked.
Moscow has warned that Western arms supplies to Kiev will only prolong the conflict. Commenting on talk within NATO regarding Ukraine’s use of Western-supplied weapons to strike deep inside Russia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused the bloc of provoking a new “round of tensions.”
“They are doing this deliberately, we hear a lot of hawkish statements… They are in every possible way provoking Ukraine to continue this senseless war. They themselves intend to continue the war with us, the war in both the literal and figurative sense,” he told reporters on Thursday.

Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

THE WESTERN BULLIES ARE GATHERING… BUT TWO CAN PLAY AT THAT GAME
Every school playground has seen how this goes. If a tyrannical, malevolent bully is constantly pushing his weight around there is only one sure way to face him down and make sure he STAYS down.
Children know the score and the script when there’s a bully around. You stay tight with your friends.
It’s not surprising then that China has issued its strongest statement yet making it clear that it will assist Russia in defending itself. But China is not the only friend Russia has that may be relied upon to stand up to the collective western bully… far from it.
Putin has been doing the rounds lately. First he checked in with Xi in Beijing. Then, in recent days he first visited Belarus, then other nations within the mutual defense group known as the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Putin was checking the members of the CSTO were ready for the fight clearly to come.

‘The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is an intergovernmental military alliance in Eurasia consisting of six post-Soviet states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, formed in 2002. The Collective Security Treaty has its origins in the Soviet Armed Forces, which was replaced in 1992 by the United Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States, and was then itself replaced by the successor armed forces of the respective independent states.
Similar to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty and the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance, Article 4 of the Collective Security Treaty (CST) establishes that an aggression against one signatory would be perceived as an aggression against all. The 2002 CSTO charter reaffirmed the desire of all participating states to abstain from the use or threat of force. Signatories are prohibited from joining other military alliances.’
Why is any of this especially relevant now? Because, for one thing, it is clear that most NATO nations are poised to enter the conflict in Ukraine directly. For another, the green light has just been given by most of them to allow missile strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Add one and one to get two here. For the first time officially NATO states, through their Ukrainian proxy will clearly demonstrate their aggression against Russia through acts of war against it. This triggers the agreement among the CSTO nations that aggression against one of their number will be perceived as ‘an aggression against all’.
Now you know the reason for Putin’s travels to Russia’s most powerful friendly nations in the last few days.
It is speculated that Russia is also seeking assistance from another state, Afghanistan. We may hear in the coming days that Russia has formally recognised the Taliban as the legal government of Afghanistan. At that point watch for the emergence of a mutual defense pact between Afghanistan and Russia. Shortly after there could well be a significant transfer of seasoned Afghan fighters to the territory of the Russian Federation.
Iran too is, as we know, a good friend of Russia’s and a member along with Russia of the BRICS group. Add the DPRK, North Korea, another friendly nation into the mix also. These are powerful allies who appear ready to join the fight.
As the saying goes, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. If the western nations are going to act in unison against Russia in Ukraine then Russia will not by any means stand alone against them. Russia has a great many friends among the global majority who have for a long time now had it up to the back teeth with the interminable bullying of the western powers. They see their chance at last to shuck off the persistent threats of the bully by standing in unison with powerful others against it.
With the USA, UK and most EU nations apparently up for a fight it is only natural for Russia to band together as many others as possible to fight against them… a fight, quite possibly, to the death.
