“Ukraine. What is the truth...?
Why won’t western media tell both sides…?”
VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.
THE SINGLE WESTERN MSM REPORT ON THE LUGANSK ATROCITY, 3rd JUNE 2014
The video at the CNN link below is the crime scene sanitised by CNN, though played straight with honest reporting on the scene not playing things to Kiev’s tune.
(There was a time early in the war in the Donbass when CNN were not afraid to contradict the Ukrainian regime in Kiev.) Watch, because it's the first and last time you will see this.

Russia can’t trust West – Lavrov.
Moscow finally understands that it can never have a real partnership with the US-led bloc, the foreign minister has explained.
The Ukraine conflict has helped Russia overcome the misconception that it can trust the West, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday on Moscow’s diplomacy in 2023, Lavrov argued that Russia’s military operation against Kiev has had positive consequences domestically, including a reinvigorating effect on society which has helped to bring people together.
He added that the conflict, which also ushered in unprecedented Western sanctions, allowed the country’s economy to make great strides in both civilian and military production.
The West’s “hybrid aggression,” which encompassed many areas, played a role in “making us understand how to go on living,” Lavrov said. “If there had been any illusions left over from the 1990s, that the West would open its arms to embrace us and that democracy would unite us all, they have been completely dispelled.”
“The West cannot be trusted. Even now, it wants only one thing – to live at the expense of others and to be more clever than others.”
Lavrov’s comments come after Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted last month that he was “naive” early on in his political career, despite having served in the Soviet KGB. He said he believed that there was no fundamental reason for the West and Moscow to be at odds after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

However, in reality, the former was seeking to break Russia into several entities with less ability to protect their national interests, the president stated. Putin had previously warned that a breakup of the country could lead to the Russian people ceasing to exist altogether, adding that unity is the key condition for the country’s success.

Prepare for war with Russia, China, Iran and North Korea – UK defence minister.
Grant Shapps wants Western nations to increase their military spending ahead of a possible conflict.
British defense minister Grant Shapps has predicted a global conflict between the West and Russia, China, Iran and North Korea, within five years. Shapps has called on Britain’s allies to increase their military spending in response to this so-called “existential threat.”
In his first speech as defense chief on Monday, Shapps described the UK as a leading global military power, citing the country’s record £50 billion ($63 billion) defense budget, its recent airstrikes on Houthi forces in Yemen, and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s announcement of a £2.5 billion ($3.2 billion) military aid package for Ukraine last week.
Shapps vowed that he would further increase Britain’s military spending, and that he would “use our influence to ensure other allies and friends… match our commitment.”
“In five years’ time we could be looking at multiple theaters [of conflict] including Russia, China, Iran and North Korea,” he said. “Ask yourself, looking at today’s conflicts across the world, is it more likely that that number grows or reduces? I suspect we all know the answer. It’s likely to grow, so 2024 must mark an inflection point.”
The UK spends more than 2% of its GDP on defense and aims to increase this figure to 2.5%, Shapps said. NATO requires that its members spend more than 2%, but only a third of its 31 members actually meet this requirement, according to a bloc report released last summer.
Shapps is not the first senior UK figure to predict that the country would soon be involved in a large-scale war. Britain’s chief of the General Staff, General Patrick Sanders, declared in 2022 that “there is now a burning imperative to forge an army capable of fighting alongside our allies and defeating Russia in battle,” and that preparations must be made to “fight in Europe once again.”
However, the UK’s allies have doubts about Britain’s fighting ability. Early last year, a senior US general told Sunak that Washington considers Britain “barely a tier-two” military power, closer in stature to Germany or Italy than “tier-one” powers like the US, Russia, China, or France, Sky News reported.
Shapps said he aims to “turn the defense tanker around” with sustained spending hikes after the British military ended 2023 with its lowest number of active-duty personnel since the end of the Napoleonic wars, and ammunition stockpiles so depleted that soldiers would reportedly run out of artillery shells after 22 hours of full-scale combat.

The American general who spoke to Sky News estimated that it would take the UK between five and ten years to build a new warfighting division of 25,000 to 30,000 troops backed by tanks, artillery and helicopters.
Speaking to reporters after his speech, Shapps did not elaborate on how a potential conflict with Russia, China, Iran and North Korea could develop. He said that “the whole purpose of this speech today is to ensure the whole of NATO does indeed share that burden” by upping military expenditure.

Scott Ritter: How the US misleads the world about its involvement in Yemen.
While Washington maintains that the strikes on Houthi installations are defensive and fully legal, neither is the case.
“The strikes in Yemen were necessary, proportionate, and consistent with international law.” With this statement, the United States delegate to the United Nations defended the joint US-UK military strikes against targets affiliated with the Houthi militia undertaken on the night of January 12, 2024.
The irony of this statement is that it was made before a body, the United Nations Security Council, which had not authorized any such action, thereby eliminating any claim to legitimacy that could possibly be made by the US.
The Charter of the UN specifies two conditions under international law in which military force can be used. One is in the conduct of legitimate self-defense as articulated in Article 51 of the Charter. The other is in accordance with the authority granted by the UN Security Council through a resolution passed under Chapter VII of the Charter.
British Foreign Minister David Cameron cited the UN Security Council in his justification of the UK’s involvement in the attacks on Yemen, claiming that the Council had “made clear” that the “Houthi must halt attacks in the Red Sea.”
While the Security Council had issued a resolution demanding that the Houthi cease their attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea, this resolution was not passed under Chapter VII, and therefore neither the US nor the UK had any authority under international law to carry out their attacks on Yemen.
Both the US and UK invoked the notion of self-defense in their attacks on Yemen, thereby indirectly alluding to a possible cognizable action under Article 51 of the UN Charter. US President Joe Biden justified the US military attack on Houthi militia forces in Yemen in a statement released shortly after the strikes ended. “I ordered this military action,” he declared, “in accordance with my responsibility to protect Americans at home and abroad.”
The main problem with this argument is that the Houthis had not attacked Americans, either at home or abroad. To the extent that US forces had previously engaged weapons fired by the Houthis, they had done so to shield non-American assets – either the State of Israel or international shipping – from Houthi attack. Under no circumstances could the US argue that it had been attacked by the Houthis.
The US attacks, Biden asserted, “were carried out to deter and weaken the Houthi ability to launch future attacks.”
This language suggests that the US was seeking to eliminate an imminent threat to commercial maritime operations in international shipping lanes. To comply with the requirements of international law regarding collective self-defense – the only possible argument for legitimacy since the US itself had not been attacked – the US would need to demonstrate that it was part of a collective of nation states that were either under attack by the Houthis or were threatened with imminent attack of a nature that precluded seeking Security Council intervention.
In late December 2023, the US had, together with several other nations, gathered military forces in what was known as Operation Prosperity Guardian to deter Houthi attacks on maritime shipping that had been taking place since November 19, 2023.
However, the US subsequently undermined any case it could possibly have made that its actions were consistent with international law, namely that they were an act of collective pre-emptive self-defense done in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter.
US Central Command (CENTCOM), which is responsible for operations in the Middle East, issued a press release shortly after Washington launched a second attack against a Houthi radar installation that it claims was involved in targeting shipping in the Red Sea.
The statement claimed the attack on the Houthi radar installation was a “follow-on action” of the strikes carried out on January 12, and had “no association with and are separate from Operation Prosperity Guardian, a defensive coalition of over 20 countries operating in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandeb Strait, and the Gulf of Aden.”
By distancing itself from Operation Prosperity Guardian, the US has fatally undermined any notion of pre-emptive collective self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, highlighting the unilateral, and inherently illegal, nature of its military attacks on Yemen.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

HOW FAR WILL THE COLLECTIVE WEST FALL WHEN UKRAINE GOES DOWN?
The western powers have bet big on Ukraine weakening Russia. They have invested huge political and financial capital in the enterprise. What happens if they emerge from it totally bankrupted?
Currently we see the USA stretched far beyond its normal ability to reach. The national debt now stands at some $34 trillion with an annual interest payment of some $1 trillion and counting. This while military expenditures continue to rise. All with the prospect of a war with Iran in the offing and a massive rebuilding of Israel’s economy required. Add a potential re-start of the Korean War (North Korea just changed its constitution to once again designate South Korea as an enemy.)
Seeing the U.S. state’s weakness it is inevitable that nations who have been under active threat and sanctions by it will see their opportunity to implement policies they have long waited to implement, further adding to North American woes. The Houthis are clearly unimpressed with the U.S. campaign (now in its fourth round of missile strikes against them) and are continuing to prevent passage of ships attempting to reach Israel. Each missile fired by the U.S. ships in the region costs many millions of dollars.
Congress is demanding that money needs to be spent strengthening the border between the USA and Mexico rather than sending it to Ukraine in what is increasingly being recognised as a lost cause. Only U.S. politicians who are desperately trying to save face and stave off humiliation still want this. Sending seemingly endless billions to Ukraine kicks the can further down the road where they hope they can misdirect attention somehow and say the whole catastrophic failure there was their fault.
However, even if western populations fall for the assertion that it was the various lacks of the Ukrainian regime and its army that caused the whole enterprise to go belly up the U.S. political elite will not go unscathed. Not by a long shot. The consequence of their defeat in Ukraine along with the billions already spent and the billions that will still be required in some form or another if the U.S. elites don’t simply walk away, will be enormous.
But the fall from grace doesn’t end there. With the conclusive victory of Russia over the Kiev regime a number of hits to the reputation of both the USA and its tool, NATO will be inevitable. The shock that all those who advocated for Ukraine are recognised as having spread misinformation with the specific purpose of duping the entire population of the western world will reverberate across the collective west. The reputation of the USA as global cop will fall even further than it did due to the Afghan humiliation. NATO too will be seen as a failure, a paper tiger. And, when there is no longer any possibility for western media to hide its duplicity since the Ukraine conflict began in 2014 the autopsy on its failures will begin.
The mistrust with which a gathering number had already felt toward the Big Brother aspect of western states during Covid will be multiplied many fold. Western politicians, already held in extremely low esteem will plummet even further to an all time nadir from which this time they may never rise. In the USA and across Europe political heads will roll. Macron is surely a political dead duck, Scholz also. Biden is a certain casualty as is Sunak in the UK. Even now we see a changing of the guard in Slovakia with Robert Fico now prime minister backing up Viktor Orban of Hungary in saying no more money for war to Ukraine.
The western powers who went to war with Russia and were defeated on both military and economic battlefields as well as the battlefield of public opinion will be discredited. The new batch of leaders who take their place will recognise the realities facing them and will as quickly as possible mend fences with Russia and reestablish economic ties across the board at Russia’s discretion. A new security architecture for Europe including Russia will be agreed, signed and ratified in the UN. Russia’s eight new oblasts will be formally acknowledged as now being fully integrated regions of the Russian Federation along with Crimea.
The BRICS+ group as a whole and as individual nations will increasingly work with ever more nations globally creating new agreements that lead to stronger connections one to another in a spirit of tolerance creating stable, peaceful conditions. The USA, humbled by multiple humiliations from Ukraine to Gaza to Yemen, North Korea and beyond, will restrict itself to its own borders repatriating its troops from Germany and the rest of Europe and in time, from all its other bases worldwide.
The changes above will be on different timetables. Some, such as the fall of most, if not all, the war-advocates in regard to Ukraine will fall in the short term. The return and retrenchment of U.S. military forces and military assets from Europe and beyond will necessitate a longer term until completion though significant numbers of troops will head home before a significant period of time has elapsed.
BRICS will have many more applications from nations that were once allies of the western powers. The Eurasian Union will be vastly strengthened also. Latin America, free of threat from a cowed USA to the north will experience a wave of changes where pro-U.S. politicians can no longer find an electorate willing to vote for them. Eyes will look east to China and Russia for investment and trade agreements. Cuba will at last be made free of the sanctions the USA has imposed on it for decade upon decade as will all others who have suffered under these mendacious, unilateral, illegal acts of state terror.
We will no longer talk of ‘The West’. Almost all, if not all those who clung to the U.S. orbit will, one after another, disassociate themselves from it. The USA will head to a level of bankruptcy far beyond the level it has reached now. Israel, its proxy in the Middle East will likely be equally bankrupt soon after and will most likely disappear from the map, replaced, once again, by the name Palestine. The USA will be isolated and quarantined until it becomes clear that once and for all it has learned its lesson and begins to atone for its past crimes.
This is how the mighty West will fall with the total failure of its Ukraine gambit. Ukraine will be the catalyst that causes an eventual chain reaction of loss of reputation for the USA across the globe. Its misbegotten attack of Russia will be seen to have brought about its downfall by its very own hand. The indefatigable Palestinians, Yeminis, Iranians, Syrians, Iraqis and very likely the North Koreans, will also have gladly assisted in the process. Wiser heads across the USA, UK and Europe having replaced the fanatical idiocy of those who went before and the complete fall from grace of those who advocated for war will leave no doubt in any mind of just how far the collective west has fallen.
