A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.

Russian ambassador to US outlines ‘thorny’ path to peace.
Anatoly Antonov has elaborated on Moscow’s proposal for ending the Ukraine conflict.
Moscow’s proposals for ending the Ukraine conflict are specific and realistic, unlike the “advertising campaign” coming from the West, Russian ambassador in Washington, Anatoly Antonov, has said.
Newsweek published an interview with Antonov on Tuesday, in which the Russian envoy elaborated on President Vladimir Putin’s statements last week, outlining the conditions for starting peace talks with Kiev.
“There is a path to peace, even if it is thorny,” Antonov said.
It involves “withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from four regions of Russia; confirmation of the status of Crimea, Sevastopol, [Donetsk People’s Republic], [Lugansk People’s Republic], Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as subjects of the Russian Federation; Kiev’s refusal to join NATO; Ukraine’s status as neutral, nonaligned and nuclear-free state; its demilitarization and denazification; lifting of Western sanctions; [and] ensuring the rights, freedoms and interests of Russian-speaking citizens of the republic,” the diplomat explained.

“Talks on the above-mentioned issues should be conducted without ‘imperial’ dictates and orders from the White House,” Antonov added. “It is high time the US recognized the futility of constant pursuit to enforce its will on all countries and realized that it will no longer be possible to deter the growing shift towards multipolarity.”
Scare stories about Moscow plotting to attack NATO once Ukraine is defeated are simply “an embodiment of the US intentions to keep a tight rein on its satellites, primarily in Europe,” according to Antonov. “The aim is to finally turn the continent into the US ‘back yard’, which is not entitled to its own opinions nor its own history.”
Such policies are actually undermining US leadership, though American policymakers “prefer not to notice” that, Antonov added.
The purpose of the peace conference in Switzerland this weekend was “purely opportunistic: to create an illusion of widespread support for the ‘peace formula’ in various capitals, but in reality, to hush up any doubts about the legitimacy of the Kiev regime, which has already been bankrupt for a long time, both politically and economically,” the ambassador said.

Putin’s clear and verifiable conditions stand in stark contrast to “idle talk and failed conferences” of the West, Antonov said. The “advertising campaign” by the US and its allies intends not to stop, “but to prolong the bloody ‘project’ that the West has been implementing for more than 10 years,” since the 2014 coup in Kiev, he added.
Russia pursues dialogue and peace, and is “ready for a serious, thoughtful conversation” without any deadlines or rushed photo-ops, Antonov noted. What Moscow wants is “truly equal and indivisible security in Eurasia, based on mutual respect for one and all.”
In a new political architecture reflecting the transition to multipolarity, there would be “no place for aggressive political and economic dominance of individual nations,” or division into blocs, Antonov said.
“If in response we continue to hear only Russophobic barking and calls to use more Western weapons and economic sanctions against us, global risks will only increase,” Antonov concluded. “I am sure this is not in the best interests of the citizens of the United States.”

PYONGYANG (Sputnik) -Earlier in the day, Putin said that "a new fundamental document" that will form the basis of the Russia-North Korea relationship for years to come has been prepared.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement, a Sputnik correspondent reported on Wednesday.

Russia names main condition for BRICS membership.
Countries seeking to join the group must not be involved in unilateral sanctions schemes, Russia’s deputy foreign minister has said.
Any country seeking to join the BRICS group should not participate in illegal unilateral sanctions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has said, emphasizing that this is a key criteria for Moscow to welcome new members.
Speaking at a press conference in Moscow on Tuesday, the diplomat touched upon Russia’s vision for the further enlargement of BRICS.
“For us, one of the key criteria for admission to BRICS and welcoming partner states is non-participation…in the illegal sanctions policies, illegal restrictive measures against any BRICS participant, first of all, of course, against Russia,” Ryabkov stated.
This stance is met with “full understanding” by other BRICS members, Ryabkov noted. Moscow expects such a position to maintain its “core nature” as the group grows in the future, he said.

“The fact that BRICS will grow and find new forms both with partners and in terms of its own expansion is indisputable,” the diplomat said, adding that the current ten members of the group have already “adjusted” to each other and are now working “as a team.”
BRICS was founded in 2006 by Brazil, Russia, India and China, while South Africa joined in 2011. The group expanded this year by welcoming Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates as full-fledged members. The group, now colloquially known as BRICS+, has opted to keep its original name despite the expansion.
Numerous other countries have officially declared an intention to join the organization as well. The latest expression of intent came over the weekend from Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who pledged to file the necessary paperwork shortly.
“We have made our policy clear and we have made our decision. We will start the formal process soon. We are waiting for the final result and the feedback from the South African government,” Ibrahim stated.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

WESTERN POLITICAL ELITES DELUDE THEMSELVES INTO RE-FIGHTING WWII
There is a reason why western elites appear so out of touch with reality to their populations. They are fighting a war that ended eighty years ago.
The state of delusion western political and media elites appears to be complete and all-pervasive. Locked within an opaque bubble of self-serving mythology they are far from present time, wrapping themselves instead in the glories of others in a war that ended over eighty years in the past.
The skewed realities involved reveal perverse mirror images that have a strong tendency to continue a slaughter that ought to have come to an end long ago.
Volodomyr Zelensky is mirroring the character of Adolf Hitler rather than, as the western politicians like to assert, Winston Churchill. It is Zelensky who has himself associated indelibly with his nation as Hitler once did, demanding their countrymen fight on in a losing war to the death. Their warped egos accepting nothing less. Zelensky mobilises young and old men into his decaying army as Hitler once did, throwing them callously into the meat grinder of the Russian army where there is no future left for them but death and defeat.
With defeat obvious, Zelensky and Hitler, looking for some never to come miracle to save them demand thousands die needlessly daily. Zelensky and Hitler, betting desperately on last gasp offensives in the hope of gaining a better bargaining position, throwing away countless lives on such hopeless project.
Yet none of this is how the western political elites and their media helpers see things. Imbued with the notion that they are fighting a mirror image of the second world war they have themselves in a state of permanent delusion. Every fact that appears on the battleground is distorted to fit te delusion they have created for themselves. These delusions will make them push for ever more war no matter how many die as a result.
These men and women of the West see themselves as heroes just as Goebbels and Himmler did even as they murdered helpless Jewish civilians throughout WWII. They pride themselves on doing the right thing, the honourable thing even as their actions cost incredible loss of life. They hide behind a screen of lies they have convinced themselves are valiant, moral statements where they fight the good fight for humanity.
Vladimir Putin and the Russian army must be portrayed as evil at every turn, framed as demons and devils so the western elites can maintain their righteousness and sanctity by comparison. I have no doubt they have conditioned themselves to believe they are on the side of all things good and correct and the Russians as the scum of the earth to 100%. Only this can explain the obvious arrogance and unlimited desire for war that we see emerging from them on a daily basis. Every last one of them has him or herself totally brainwashed with not an iota of reality penetrating the screen of lies they have surrounded themselves with.
Nothing else can explain their willingness to keep repeating the lies they MUST believe and promulgate. Lies such as the most often repeated lie that Russia was unprovoked when it reluctantly, after almost a decade of searching for a peaceful way through was goaded at last into war.
Hitler had used the very techniques deployed by the western powers again and again, goading nations relentlessly, lying about them remorselessly and applying inexorable pressure upon them. Russia was provoked again and again and again by the western powers to unbearable levels. There was arguably never a lie so scurrilous during wartime than this one. Anyone believing that Russia was unprovoked is either braindead or totally prejudiced having swallowed every other lie told about Vladimir Putin and Russia over the last two decades.
Anyone who has studied the origins of the conflict in Ukraine has seen, as Professor John J. Mearsheimer has seen, the true hand that manipulated us all into the present disastrous situation. A situation where millions of lives are potentially at risk. Those who initiated the conflict, who planned for it to weaken Russia before carving her up have nothing left but lies now as their schemes have gone so horribly wrong.
The western powers can cloak themselves in the false colours of WWII heroes, they can delude themselves endlessly and promote their mini-Hitler Zelensky until they are blue in the face. It will change nothing. Russia has turned the tables on them and, as in WWII will march with right on their side right up to the mirror image of Hitler’s bunker and defeat them in a glorious victory not seen since the defeat of the Nazis all those years ago.
