VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Russia has lowest inflation in Europe – PM.
Consumer price growth has slowed to 2.3% in May, Mikhail Mishustin announced.
Inflation in Russia has continued to slow through May, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin told a Shanghai business forum on Tuesday, noting that the indicator is currently the lowest in Europe.
“As of early May, inflation slowed to 2.3% year-over-year. This is the lowest figure among all European countries,” Mishustin stated. The indicator continued to fall after a sharp drop to 3.51% in March from 10.99% in February. It is currently well below the government target of 5% for the year.
In comparison, Switzerland recorded 2.6% inflation in April, the second-lowest after Russia. The region’s largest economy, Germany, saw prices grow at a rate of 7.2%, France – 5.9%, Italy – 8.2%. Annual inflation for the Eurozone was recorded at 7%.
Mishustin also announced that Russia's unemployment rate had dropped to a record low of 3.5%.
The premier stated that the Russian economy on the whole was thriving despite the pressure of Western sanctions, with credit institutions, foreign exchange and stock markets functioning normally due to the well-developed national payment and settlement infrastructure.

He also noted that the government had been implementing large-scale programs to modernize infrastructure in the regions to help local businesses.

I've been listening to Scott Ritter describe how things are for him and I suspect have been for him for quite some time now.
He has been doing a LOT of unpaid work with a great many interview requests coming in that he has been ready and willing to agree to. But the work where receives some pay for have suffered due to this, being left until the wee small hours of the night to complete work on.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

FUTILE GESTURES ARE GETTING HUNDREDS OF UKRAINIANS KILLED EACH DAY
The Ukrainian regime is desperate to mount a public relations event to offset the fall of the city of Bakhmut which Zelensky said would never be taken. The incursion over the last few days of the Ukrainian military into Belgorod across the Russian border is such an event and has predictably failed to deliver. It is certain however that it will not be the last such event.
Over the last 15 months we have seen time and time again that Ukrainian lives have been thrown away in their hundreds per day merely so that the onlooking western powers can be assured that the fantasy of a Ukrainian victory is still in place. This fantasy is then conveyed to a highly conditioned western audience through western mainstream media. This cruel charnel house of a strategy has been seen in all its awful depravity in the hopeless cause of defending of Bakhmut.
The overarching tragedy however, is that it was known from the start how this would all end. That is, with a Russian victory. Russia could not lose, far too much was at stake regarding its national security was at risk. The only thing that could have stopped Russia winning would have been direct intervention in Ukraine by the western powers via NATO. That option was barred right at the start due to the inevitability of a wider war erupting, quite possibly leading to an all-out nuclear war with Russia.
With no NATO involvement and no direct European military involvement for much the same reason as that behind the NATO restraint Moscow was ALWAYS going to defeat any resistance put up by Ukraine and no matter how many weapons or of what type flowed into Ukraine from the West.
So why are we now in this absurd position where Russia is clearly, if incrementally, moving forward taking more land in a steady grinding down of the Ukrainian opposition with no calls for talks to end this? The policy of western leaders is clearly to encourage Ukraine to fight to the last Ukrainian while the cause is lost without any possible shadow of a doubt. There are no miracles in such warfare as we see now where attrition inexorably grinds the Ukrainian army down. Ukraine cannot possibly hope for divine intervention. And the western powers themselves are suffering attrition also, their ability to supply financial and military assistance to Ukraine is ending.
So what now?
For now it seems that the daily grind goes on. Using vastly superior firepower Russian multiple rocket launchers, hypersonic missiles, drones, glide bombs and other advanced weaponry inflict casualties with vastly superior fire power. Virtually every trench, dugout, village, town and vehicle can be located by satellite and targeted. Ukrainian forces have nothing to match the land and air power that Russia is increasingly levelling against them. Ukrainian reserve forces, meant to relieve those fighting at the front are also in their turn being decimated in their bases by long range Russian missiles.
Russia fires on its targets from dawn to dusk, softening up resistance for the day when Russian troops walk forward to minimal resistance. This grinding down operation is repeated time after time according to well-crafted strategies to encircle the most important towns on their way to an inevitable victory.
The number of Ukrainian casualties has varied but the lowest number is at least one hundred dead per day and many times this number injured and the usual average is much higher, the highest casualty figure being for 12th May just passed at 1,600 dead or injured. Day after day after day this process continues while Zelensky seeks to please his western masters’ need for a continuance of this madness. Meanwhile Joe Biden and the others who urge this insane carnage look on with a ruinous strategy becoming ever more apparent before them.
Boris Johnson persuaded Zelensky not to give in to the temptation to continue the talks with Russia that neared a breakthrough in Istanbul in March 2022. There, the Ukrainian delegation appeared to be nearing a sensible position on some at least of Russia’s demands. However, Johnson’s visit to Kyiv put an end to that. Without doubt with the connivance of Joe Biden he was able to bring all hope of peace to an end by promises of wonder weapons that would turn the tide of war in Ukraine’s favour.
None of the so-called game-changer weapons had the desired result and the now promised F16 fighter jets won’t effect any major change to the ultimate result either. The HIMARS systems, the Patriot systems and all else in the high-tech weaponry department havn’t done the trick and the F16s are the last throw of the dice in this respect. Ukraine already had a huge range of multiple rocket launchers at the get go. They are all gone. The weaponry coming in from the West doesn’t even replace what was lost and will stand little better chance and probably less to avoid destruction now than the previous supply.
Russia is crushing the Ukrainian military and with its satellites and drones is spotting and taking out all Ukraine’s arms depots and fuel dumps. In recent months Russia has been steadily increasing its attacks using increasing numbers of weapons in its armoury. With Ukraine having hardly any air force left, what chance will any of the West’s so-called “super” weapons or their rapidly failing shell supply have in giving the Ukrainian forces a fighting chance? Isn’t it long overdue that a halt was called to this madness?
There is no good news for Ukraine, only bad news and getting ever worse. Desertions are becoming more frequent, the number of dead per day is rising and this past month saw a record number of Ukrainian troops taken off the battlefield. The Russian military has broken through the toughest defences Ukraine set up with the help of the West and NATO over the last eight years, those set up opposite Donetsk City and elsewhere. And now by taking the heavily-defended town of Bakhmut we see where this is all going. There can be no stopping the Russian military now.
The time for Zelensky and his puppet-masters in the West to come to the negotiation table was over a year ago, yet still they refuse to come to their senses and save remaining Ukrainian and Russian lives. All this means is that hundreds and most probably thousands more will die needlessly while yet more Ukrainian territory will be taken. To delay an hour more is madness. Yet delay they do. Till when? Till Russia moves all the way west to the banks of the Dnieper, slaughtering and/or capturing thousands of Ukrainian troops the entirety of the way there?
All to save face? To stave off the humiliation of defeat for a few more weeks or months? To do all they can with meaningless and futile gestures that bring nothing of substance regarding the final result? To posture and pontificate while delivering what they think are the required deceptions needed because they can’t stand the awful truth and fear the humiliation that will come with an outcome that was always completely inevitable?
This is a level of self-seeking irresponsibility that reaches a degree of callousness beggaring belief. The western powers need to end these futile gestures, face the reality of defeat, insist upon immediate negotiations, and do all possible then to end this proxy war that is taking so many lives each and every day, and with immediate effect.
