A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

US seizes Scott Ritter’s passport.
The RT contributor was stopped from visiting Russia.
The US State Department has seized the passport of former Marine and UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter, he told RT on Monday.
Ritter was on his way to Russia for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) when he was pulled off the plane and had his documents confiscated.
“I was boarding the flight. Three [police] officers pulled me aside. They took my passport. When asked why, they said ‘orders of the State Department’. They had no further information for me,” Ritter told RT. “They pulled my bags off the plane, then escorted me out of the airport. They kept my passport.”
“Was this done in accordance with the First Amendment, or the Fourth,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, commenting on the news. The first amendment to the US constitution protects freedom of speech, press and assembly, while the fourth bars the government from “unreasonable searches and seizures.”
Ritter is a former US Marine Corps intelligence officer, who later served as the US and UN weapons inspector in Iraq. He is also a RT contributor, writing about international security, military affairs, Russia, and the Middle East, as well as arms control and nonproliferation.
He most recently visited Russia in January, spending time in Chechnya, Moscow and St. Petersburg, among other places.
The most recent post on Ritter’s Telegram channel put the Clooney Foundation for Justice on notice for its alleged crusade against “Russian propagandists.”
“Here I am. In your face. If telling the truth about Russia makes me a propagandist in your book, then I accept the title,” he wrote. “Bring it on. I’ll school you on the First Amendment.”
“You have zero concept of what free speech is. Try and arrest me and you’ll find out. In spades. It’s war,” he added.

Kiev is seeking to secure support for its ‘peace formula’.
Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has largely failed in his attempts to drum up support among Asian countries for his peace formula, ahead of a conference in Switzerland later this month, the Washington Post reported on Monday. Moscow has dismissed Kiev’s roadmap for ending the conflict as unrealistic because it does not correspond to “realities on the ground.”
On Sunday, Zelensky made an appearance at the Shangri-La Dialogue annual security conference in Singapore. He met with several senior officials from the region, including Indonesian president-elect Prabowo Subianto as well as the president and prime minister of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Lawrence Wong.
“We want Asia to know what is going on in Ukraine, Asia to support the end of the war,” Zelensky said at a news conference.
According to the Washington Post, however, Kiev has “failed to generate in Asia the same sort of emotional, existential angst that it has in much of the West.” Part of the reason may be that Asian nations have long been skeptical about the West “preaching about the international order and universal values,” the newspaper writes.
The media outlet quoted Raja Mohan from the Institute of South Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore as explaining that “realists in the chancelleries [of parts of Asia] never believed the [Western] rhetoric because they always knew there was a difference between what the West said and what it did.”

East Timor’s president, José Ramos-Horta, who supports the peace conference, admits that there is a lack of solidarity with regards to the Ukraine conflict in Asia.
“It is viewed in much of the Global South as a European and American and Russian war. Partly, this has to do with the US and Europe’s incomprehensible tolerance of Israel’s brutal war on the Palestinians,” the official told reporters.
At the Singapore conference, Zelensky also lamented that “Ukraine does not have any powerful connections with China because China does not want it,” claiming that Beijing has become an “instrument” in Moscow’s hands.
While more than 100 countries have said they will be sending their delegations to the Swiss-hosted peace summit, the US and China will either skip the gathering or send emissaries rather than their heads of state.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will not be attending either, his office told TASS last month. According to media reports, his Brazilian counterpart Lula da Silva will be absent as well.
In April, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the upcoming conference as “nonsense,” given that Moscow has not been invited. His spokesman, Dmitry Peskov argued last Tuesday that “getting together and seriously discussing the Ukraine conflict without our [Russia’s] participation is absurd.”

Hezbollah Employs New Weapons and Tactics to Keep Israel on Tenterhooks.
The Lebanese Shiite movement has reportedly rolled out "sophisticated" new technology as clashes with Israel intensify in light of Tel Aviv's invasion of Rafah.
Hezbollah-Israel clashes have worsened of late as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continues its operation in Rafah, a southern Gaza region bordering with Egypt.
"Hezbollah's decision to launch an attack using drones and projectiles, including precision-guided missiles, reflects a strategic approach aimed at maintaining an element of surprise and keeping Israel in a state of constant recalibration," Dr. Imad Salamey, associate professor of political science and international affairs at the Lebanese American University, told Sputnik.
"By employing a variety of weapons and tactics, many of which remain unutilized, Hezbollah ensures that its full capabilities and potential battlegrounds are unpredictable. This strategy not only complicates Israel's defense calculations but also allows Hezbollah to retain the initiative in the conflict, adapting its strategy dynamically based on developments on the ground," the pundit continued.
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah warned Tel Aviv on May 24 about "new surprises" on the part of the Lebanese group if Israel doesn't halt hostilities in Gaza. The Israeli press cited El-Nashra, the Lebanese news agency, as alleging that "surprises" mentioned by Nasrallah are new weapons in the group's possession, including long-range precision missiles and anti-aircraft projectiles.
Earlier this month, the Associated Press (AP) likewise emphasized new weapons and new tactics recently employed by the Shiite movement, including deeper strikes into Israel's territory. Hezbollah's outstanding military capabilities have been acknowledged by both Israeli and US think tanks, which suggest the group possesses at least 150,000 rockets and anti-tank missiles, along with up to 2,000 drones.
In the second half of May, Hezbollah introduced new armored drones against Israeli military facilities, according to Dr. Lorenzo Trombetta, Beirut-based scholar and analyst specializing in the Middle East.
"Nowadays [the Shiite group] is continuing to test these new capabilities in order to respond to Israel, first of all, as Israel is also increasing its attacks along the blue line, as we've seen in the Bekaa Valley and southern side of the city of Sidon, and moreover, to counter the balance of power and continue to exert pressure, political pressure, military pressure on the Israeli government," Trombetta told Sputnik.
On June 1, Hezbollah managed to down a second Israeli Hermes 900 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the southern Lebanese town of Deir Kifa. The first was destroyed over southern Lebanon on April 6. The group also fired two 500 kg Burkan missiles into northern Israel on Saturday with one of them reportedly hitting the Gibor Military Base near Kiryat Shmona. The group announced that it carried out 10 strikes on Saturday, targeting Israeli positions on both the eastern and western fronts.
"In terms of capabilities, Hezbollah didn't use so many sophisticated weapons until now," Trombetta pointed out. "It resorted to more or less short-range rockets and missiles. And lately, in the last two months, it showed its capability to shut down the big Israeli Hermes-500 armored drone. As I mentioned before, there is a gradual escalation in referring to more and more modern and sophisticated weaponry from Hezbollah."
The Beirut-based analyst explained the escalation by Hezbollah's bid to step up pressure on Israel in order to stop hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
To date, over 36,300 Palestinians have been killed and many more injured in Gaza, according to the Health Ministry. Israel's Rafah operation was launched amid bumpy truce negotiations with Hamas and has led to the displacement of over a million people and further exacerbated the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Hardline conservative members of Netanyahu's governing coalition – Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir – have pledged to leave the government if the latest truce proposal is accepted.
"So we should look at the overall picture of continuing negotiations between Hamas and Israel through Qatar, Egypt mediation. But overall, between the US and Iran there is no agreement in sight between these two main poles, main forces, main axes," Trombetta concluded.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

THE CRIMINAL ENTITIES OF THE WEST ARE FAILING TO ACHIEVE THEIR OBJECTIVES
The war the West is waging has as its focus the elimination of national powers who have risen to an extent where its long-held power of global domination is at imminent risk of virtual extinction.
It is a pathetic spectacle to watch how the previously mighty West is fallen. Now we see their true, ugly face, that evil face which has frowned down on so many past mass murders and plethora of despicable other acts. We see the present militaristic scramble of the West is a vain attempt to retain its global dominance and continue its malignant control. This in the face of its increasing rejection by the nations of the global south.
The wrongheaded notion by the western powers that they and only they are entitled to stipulate right from wrong worldwide has led them to their present position where they are fighting a losing to retain a status fast slipping from them. Once nations they were used to being able to manipulate became able to economically resist them the game was up. Using their greatly reduced ability to threaten and cajole only increased and confirmed the perception the need to escape from their grip and influence.
In the past few days the latest puppet of whatever power the collective West still retains, Vladimir Zelensky, has experienced first hand the rejection of the notion that what the West says still counts.

The western powers are nearing the end of their ability to coerce others into respecting them, obeying them, bowing down to them and acceding to their wishes. This is the result of an evolution in the economic field that is impossible to reverse although this is the overwhelming focus of all western geopolitical efforts currently. Used to getting its own way on almost every issue the West is now confronted with its former slaves freeing themselves and standing against the West's efforts to enslave them once more.
The fact is that it even appears that western powers consider that no world at all is better than a world they can no longer control. This is the essence of the world war we see being waged in front of our eyes now. Such is the desperation with which the West is waging this war that almost any weapon is likely to be used, no matter how destruction it may be and how many lives may be lost in its use. The rabid need of western political and business elites to retain global dominance makes them act as obvious criminals in these circumstances. All pretenses of adhering to the democratic or moral/ethical principles they have constantly and sanctimoniously espoused are being dropped.
There is no telling where the urgency of the West to reassert its dominance will lead. With permanently fixed minds allowing no chink of any alternative viewpoint within them they appear ready to use every criminal device open to them. Like a previously dominant but now dying animal, lashing out at foes either real or imagined surrounding them, they collectively act in whatever way, insanely criminal or not, that they believe will allow their survival and continued dictatorial dominance.
