“Ukraine. What is the truth...?
Why won’t western media tell both sides…?”
VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.
THE SINGLE WESTERN MSM REPORT ON THE LUGANSK ATROCITY, 3rd JUNE 2014
The video at the CNN link below is the crime scene sanitised by CNN, though played straight with honest reporting on the scene not playing things to Kiev’s tune.
(There was a time early in the war in the Donbass when CNN were not afraid to contradict the Ukrainian regime in Kiev.) Watch, because it's the first and last time you will see this.
5 women and 3 men died, all civilians.

The leaders of Russia, India, China, South Africa, the UAE, and Egypt, as well as the UN secretary-general, have gathered in the Russian city of Kazan for the 16th annual BRICS Summit. The event, which has also welcomed a host of potential BRICS partner countries, is widely seen as a snub to the West and a signal that Russia has not been isolated by Ukraine-related sanctions.
The program of the three-day summit includes diplomatic discussions and high-level bilateral talks on key global issues, such as the challenges facing the global economy, strategic economic security, the development of the Global South and multilateralism, as well as geopolitical issues such as the Ukraine and Middle East conflicts. High on the agenda are also issues such as mutual trade and de-dollarization, as well as plans for further BRICS expansion, as nearly three-dozen countries have expressed interest in formally joining the group or deepening cooperation with it.
The current BRICS member countries are Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates. Saudi Arabia has yet to ratify its membership invitation.
BRICS members collectively represent around 46% of the world’s population and over 36% of global GDP, according to estimates from global financial institutions. The group is expected to announce new members at the Kazan summit, as well as finalize the establishment of a new ‘partner state’ status.
Russian President Vladimir Putin held several high-level meetings with BRICS heads of state on Tuesday, including talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Putin is expected to meet with the other attendees before the summit wraps up on Thursday, while bilateral meetings are also scheduled between other BRICS members.

BRICS countries have reasserted their support for the prevention of an arms race in outer space and the weaponization of space, calling for dialogue to adopt a “relevant legal multilateral instrument to ensure global security.”
They have also expressed support for UN initiatives aimed at adopting measures to prevent weapons of mass destruction from falling into the hands of terrorists.

BRICS countries have reaffirmed their previously expressed opinions on the Ukraine conflict, and signaled that they welcome mediation initiatives aimed at a diplomatic resolution.
“We recall national positions concerning the situation in and around Ukraine as expressed in the appropriate fora, including the UNSC and the UNGA. We emphasize that all states should act consistently with the Purposes and Principles of the UN Charter in their entirety and interrelation. We note with appreciation relevant proposals of mediation and good offices, aimed at a peaceful resolution of the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy,” the member states said in the BRICS Summit declaration.

BRICS member states “reject the unilateral trade restrictive measures [and] sanctions” which the West has imposed on Russia and a number of other countries, according to the group’s Kazan declaration. The group considers such measures “illegal” and “inconsistent with rules of the World Trade Organization (WTO),” as well as undermining the UN Charter and jeopardizing the multilateral trading system.

“We reaffirm our support for an open, transparent, fair, predictable, inclusive, equitable, non-discriminatory, rules-based and consensus-based multilateral trading system, with the WTO at its core, with special and differential treatment for developing countries,” the document states further.
13:17 GMT
BRICS sees the UN as playing a central role in the global governance system, according to the group’s Kazan declaration.
Member-states, however, have called for “greater and more meaningful participation” of emerging and developing countries, especially from Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, in global decision-making processes and structures.
13:16 GMT
“We reiterate the importance of further enhancing BRICS solidarity and cooperation based on our mutual interests and key priorities and further strengthening our strategic partnership,” BRICS countries said in the joint declaration adopted at the group’s summit in Kazan.
“We reaffirm our commitment to the BRICS spirit of mutual respect and understanding, sovereign equality, solidarity, democracy, openness, inclusiveness, collaboration and consensus.”
12:39 GMT
Member states have adopted the final declaration of the BRICS Summit in Kazan. According to Vladimir Putin, attendees expressed “consonant” opinions on most issues on the agenda, and are determined to continue their work on building a “more democratic global system.”
12:37 GMT
The Ukraine and Middle East conflicts could spread to the entire world, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has warned in a video address to the BRICS Summit in Kazan. He called on global powers to “work together” towards resolving the conflicts and bringing about peace.
“At a time when we are facing two wars with the potential to become global, it is essential to reboot our ability to work together on common goals,” Lula said. “Many want to divide the world into friends and enemies,” he added, stating that this merely bring suffering to ordinary people, who want jobs, food, and a world without weapons.
Lula delivered the remarks via video as he was unable to fly to Kazan for the summit due to a head injury.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Kazan for the BRICS Summit. He is expected to hold bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss issues including the potential construction of new nuclear power plants in Türkiye, the establishment of a gas hub in the country and the prospects for switching Russian-Turkish trade to the national currencies.

While BRICS leaders have been busy at bilateral talks and panel sessions, BRICS first ladies have been enjoying Kazan and its landmarks. Their program includes a fashion show and several museums, as well as visits to Kul Sharif Mosque and a local Orthodox church.

“BRICS has been able to achieve a lot in recent years. I am confident that in the near future this organization will emerge as a more effective medium for solving global challenges,” Modi stated, noting that India is fully committed to increasing cooperation within BRICS.

Putin meets with Iranian President Pezeshkian at BRICS Summit: LIVE UPDATES.
BRICS Summit Day One Recap: Deepening Ties and Collaboration to Speed Rise of Multipolar World Order.
The XVI BRICS Summit kicked off in Kazan, Russia on Tuesday. Here are the main events from the first day of this major international gathering.
The first day of the BRICS summit in Kazan will be remembered for the arrival of global leaders, and President Putin's high-level meetings with several of them.
Meeting With "Dear Friend"
Yesterday before the summit's formal kickoff, Putin welcomed UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the Kremlin, where they reaffirmed the "historical and strategic" nature of their relationship. Today, he held discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The cooperation between Moscow and Beijing is at its peak, with both leaders consistently referring to each other as "dear friends" in their talks.
Strengthening Russia-China Relations
Putin stressed that the multi-faceted cooperation between Russia and China is based on equality, is mutually beneficial and free from opportunism, serving as a model in today's world. Both countries are successfully implementing joint projects in energy, industry, high technology, transport and agriculture.
Notably, despite negative external factors, trade turnover increased by 4.5 percent from January to August, maintaining its positive upward trend. Putin highlighted that Moscow and Beijing's collaboration on international issues acts as a stabilizing factor on the global stage.
"We intend to continue enhancing coordination on all multilateral platforms to ensure global security and a just world order," he asserted.
Dialogue With India
Putin also met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing that Russian-Indian relations represent a "particularly privileged strategic partnership" that continues to actively evolve.
Putin and Modi's discussions focused on legislative cooperation, growing trade and major projects, including India's decision to open a consulate in Kazan.
Prime Minister Modi reiterated the importance of resolving the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine through peaceful means, expressing India's commitment to establishing stability.

Solidarity With South Africa
The relationship with South Africa remains strong, with President Cyril Ramaphosa noting in talks with the Russian leader on Tuesday that trade has begun to grow again, increasing by three percent from January to August.
Putin acknowledged the need for collaborative work in further enhancing and diversifying trade and investments, particularly in energy, industry, agriculture, science and innovation.
The two nations expressed readiness to coordinate efforts on the international stage to establish a fair multipolar world order. Ramaphosa expressed gratitude for Russia's support dating back to South Africa's anti-Apartheid struggle.

Advancements in the New Development Bank
Meeting with Dilma Rousseff, the head of BRICS' New Development Bank (NDB), Putin commended her leadership of the institution, which has financed around 100 projects totaling $33 billion dollars since its inception.
Putin remarked that increasing transactions in local currencies would lower debt servicing costs, enhance the financial independence of BRICS nations and reduce geopolitical risks.
Rousseff emphasized the Global South's urgent need for funding and the importance of providing assistance in national currencies, a principle the NDB adheres to.
Continued Engagement
Bilateral negotiations are set to continue throughout the summit, with numerous additional high-level meetings planned, reflecting the ongoing commitment to strengthen international collaboration among BRICS members.

Massive Russian Advances in Eastern Ukraine | Ukrainian Lines Collapsing.
Russia pls stop... thats too much winning | Ukraine War SITREP / Summary.
VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

THE EVE OF DESTRUCTION MUST GIVE WAY TO THE BRICS DREAM
We are at the most dangerous epoch in human history. Forces of fragmentation, chaos & destruction are gaining ever-greater hold. In what can we hope for deliverance in these frightening times?
Could things get any more insane than now? Could the hopes and dreams we held close to our hearts in the Sixties of future peace and harmony become any less visible than now?
We stand on the eve of destruction to employ the title of a popular protest song of the Sixties by Barry Mcguire.
Barry McGuire: Eve of Destruction (July 1965).
Does it have to be this way? Is it inevitable that each decade brings more war, more disillusionment and less hope?
On this, the second day of the 16th BRICS summit in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia we can see that hope for a better world does exist. Stability, tolerance, cooperation, dialogue and the search for a route to a civilization we can be proud of are ongoing within the ever-expanding BRICS group. On this second day of the summit its members are seeking that way forward to the better future we all deserve and must find for the sake of all who come after us.
The more things change the more they remain the same they say. In the Sixties we refused to believe that fundamental change was impossible. Subsequent events proved us wrong at that time. Our naive belief in love and peace didn’t last. A bare half a decade later we saw those hopes and dreams fall apart and ‘normal’ life resume. The archetypal norms reasserted themselves and all we had left was nostalgia for what could have been.
These days all the talk is of war and the threat of war. Sides have been taken more firmly than ever before. Diplomacy is dead and anything resembling a purported democracy in the West is fast dying too. Those who railed against the totalitarianism of the East are now steadily enforcing it on the populations of the West. Freedom of speech is transmogrifying into the control of speech in the West. More and more we are told what to say, the views to hold and the attitudes that we MUST have… or else. Thinking now of how free we were down decades past, beginning arguably in the Sixties, brings the most mournful thoughts possible to our minds.
We appear to be headed toward a full on prison planet where everything about us is known with judgment passed upon every aspect of our lives. We are constantly observed, targeted and sold things based upon those observations, castigated for some of them, punished for others and rewarded for those western states deem good. The vast systems holding ‘big data’ about us can be analyzed to provide every possible detail of our lives, using and abusing the data at will. Big Brother is arriving soon… and is determined that we do as he says.
Thankfully all is NOT lost. As unlikely as it may seem there is hope for something other than lives locked within a system that keeps you under surveillance 24/7 and demands you conform to its needs. Resistance against this dystopian nightmare began around two decades ago due to the determination of Russian president Vladimir Putin. In the wake of 9/11 and the western demand that all nations must be subservient to it he said no. Not with Russia anyway. He made it clear that Russia will remain an independent, sovereign nation determining its own future path, and will not act as a slave nation manipulated by any single nation or group of nations.
Slowly but surely since the words of Vladimir Putin spoken in 2007 at the then Munich Security Conference other nations have begun taking the same line. Notably among them China but also others such as India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran. Others too seek to become members of the BRICS alliance. All have asserted that another way exists than the way the western powers demand, of subservience to it and its institutions. Unless you have not heard, currently the total of nations wishing to join BRICS is over thirty, approaching forty. Nations ready, willing and enthusiastic in presenting another way forward rather than continued western domination and endless wars.
In recent times Saudi Arabia has stated that the deal it made with the USA fifty years ago to only use the dollar to trade in has expired and will not be renewed. The grip on world trade by the West using the petrodollar has been removed. Now dedollarization will continue apace, freeing up myriad nations from U.S. control via its unilateral sanctions. Thus the movement away from the draconian future the West wishes to impose on us all will now inevitably flourish and expand.
Here is our hope, hope even reflecting to some extent the innocent dreams of youth in those long gone years of the Sixties. Russia, China and the others are seeking the stability and peace that benefits trade, greater understanding and most important of all, mutual cooperation. Cultural exchange in an atmosphere of trust where nations hold peaceful coexistence at a premium cannot but generate greater mutual understanding.
That the forces of the West now operating in unison to destroy the effect of the BRICS nations, to weaken them and stop them rising, must be defeated, is obvious. Anyone who sees the reality of our common situation must surely hope so. The alternative vision, of a prison planet where the western warders suppress any and all resistance is just too awful to contemplate. A better world MUST be possible, this world of war as set in place by the western powers cannot be our legacy passed on to the children of the future. There has to be a better way.
That better way is through the building of a stable world where peace can thrive. That world has now become possible through BRICS. The possibility now exists where we can bring about a new dawn of civilization on our planet where we will no longer stand here helplessly on the eve of destruction. A better world is possible. The BRICS group can and will bring it into being.
