THE UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2 JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered particularly newsworthy in the western mainstream.

Here’s eight reasons why the US has no interest in pushing for peace in Ukraine.
Washington’s priority is to contain Russia and how the fighting ends for Kiev is a sideshow to the main objective.
It now appears that the US is not even remotely interested in supporting a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian conflict, preferring to see the military campaign continue. Overall, strategic planning in Washington gives little thought to the parameters for ending the crisis: Whether Ukraine will remain within its current borders, lose its territories or disappear altogether.
Despite mounting casualties and the destruction of Ukraine's military, appetite for military action has not diminished, neither in Kiev nor in Washington. Many international experts rightly identify the US as the key player in a large coalition advocating for continued hostilities in Ukraine. In less than a year of crisis, Kiev has exhausted its own military resources and the means to replace them, and is totally dependent on external assistance.
Though the US is taking the lead in coordinating and strategizing support from the West, it would be wrong to equate Ukrainian and American interests. While continuing to pay lip service to Kiev's political demands, Washington is carefully assessing the right moment to initiate negotiations. The need for diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict has been increasingly emphasized by US military leaders, most notably the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley. The idea continues to circulate in the British press that the American tactic is to escalate the conflict in order to later de-escalate it: to pressure Russia with a wave of large-scale deliveries of military equipment and to put Kiev in a more favorable negotiating position.
However, it cannot be overlooked that the continuation of the military crisis in Ukraine is in line with US military and political interests. There are a total of eight arguments suggesting that the Americans intend to prolong this conflict.
First, there is the relative weakening of Russia, which has had to devote considerable resources to eliminating the military threat from Ukraine, as well as to achieving its political objectives of securing equal status in post-Cold War European security architecture. The Western media narrative that Russia is on the verge of defeat, while far from reality, gives the impression that all the West needs to do so is adopt a wait-and-see attitude. The lack of decisive Russian military victories leads to the perception that Ukraine is winning.
Second, the US has a vested interest in breaking up EU-Russian energy cooperation. This has developed over many decades, beginning during the Cold War. The sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines, apparently conducted with the assistance of another NATO state, was the culmination of a long-term American strategy to dismantle the extensive links between Moscow and key West European economies. The Americans want to shift European energy consumption away from Russia and create a more difficult environment for broader European industry, so that American goods face less competition, thus strengthening their own position.
Third, the US wants to eliminate any impulse for strategic autonomy among EU states. The Ukrainian crisis provides a golden opportunity for this, as the US and its allies in Eastern Europe have managed to create a moment of moral panic in the information space, preventing any reflection on the causes and consequences of the crisis. Strategic decisions on arms transfers are being taken under pressure from the media and a radicalized section of the public, without any analysis of the consequences. Leaders and elites who might have been able to reflect with detachment and sobriety on the consequences of the slide of EU-Russia relations into a deep crisis, are now outnumbered and essentially voiceless.
Fourth, the US does not want to see the defeat of Ukraine, into which much financial, political and symbolic capital has been invested over the past year. In the eyes of the West, Ukraine is its "champion". The old narrative of European civilization struggling against the barbaric East, going back to the days of ancient Greece and its confrontation with the Persian hordes, is being played out here. Ukraine's defeat would be a sensitive symbolic defeat for the West and would leave an "open wound" in the minds of many intellectuals.
Fifth, the US has not retreated from the ideological imperative to defend what it interprets as "freedom". In the situation around Ukraine, there is a Manichean presentation of the struggle for "freedom against unfreedom". Washington also sees this ideological imperative manifest in the domestic situation in Ukraine, which of course is only possible if you look at the political processes in Kiev "through your fingers". By playing along with this narrative, Vladimir Zelensky's government seeks to present itself to the West in such ideological categories.
The sixth US objective is to encourage Western Europe to remilitarise. Washington is aware that prolonged military competition is not possible using American forces alone. Moreover, the US is conscious of the growing threat from China and realizes that its resources will soon be diverted to a confrontation in the Pacific. In the European theater, Washington is therefore looking for ways to strengthen the EU's military-industrial complex so that national defense budgets can be raised to at least 2 percent of GDP.
Seventh, the US seeks to consolidate its European allies around a platform of fighting its "rising" adversaries such as Russia, China and Iran. Here, the US is trying to be resourceful in building coalitions willing to produce and sell expensive, high-tech weapons.
Eighth, the US is also pursuing its own re-industrialisation through Ukraine. The expansion of the military-industrial complex is seen as an important goal for America. After the Cold War, it was reoriented to produce a limited number of high-tech products, whereas modern conventional warfare requires the large-scale production of relatively inexpensive generic artillery, tank and aircraft systems.
All this makes the US extremely uninterested in working for a peaceful solution to the conflict in the short term. The Americans believe that time is on their side and that the eight objectives listed above will be achieved. This makes their strategy rather flexible and demonstrates that their priority is to contain Russia rather than secure the future security and prosperity of Ukraine.

I've been listening to Scott Ritter describe how things are for him and I suspect have been for him for quite some time now.
He has been doing a LOT of unpaid work with a great many interview requests coming in that he has been ready and willing to agree to. But the work where receives some pay for have suffered due to this, being left until the wee small hours of the night to complete work on.
Scott, I think you will agree, has been one of the most influential voices out there on Russia and Ukraine.
I was moved by Scott's words to take an annual subscription to his Substack account that he runs in coordination with his colleague on 'U.S. Tour of Duty', Jeff Norman. This is the main way that Scott recommends to help him with finances with which to upgrade his delivery of comment on Russia and Ukraine, via a better microphone etc. and perhaps the creation of a recording studio in his basement to create a more professional and impressive look. VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

There has never been such a dishonest and corrupt regime as that of Ukraine since the insurrection there in 2014. The flow of lies from it have been unceasing from that time until the present day, all faithfully communicated as Biblical truths by every news broadcaster within western mass media.
This situation is underpinned by a myopic devotion to the illegal dictatorship exemplified by Vladimir Zelensky, the so-called president of Ukraine, the PR king of the country with a big mouth constantly full of the most loathsome lies. In combination with those who pull his strings this puppet “king” has brought us all to the brink of nuclear annihilation.
Zelensky was hoisted from near obscurity as a half-baked comic actor by one of Ukraine’s most infamous oligarchs by the name of Kolomoisky, a man who would be in jail if not for the West’s need for his protege to do their dirty work for them. That dirty work is to pave the way for the combined political elite of the West attaining their goal of making a prison planet of our world with them as its warders in perpetuity.
Ukraine and the Ukrainian people are mere disposable tools in the project of the western power-junkies who cannot bear the thought of losing the power and influence that they have wielded for centuries. The thought of losing their grip on our world has driven them to lose any semblance of integrity and has brought about their total degradation in what has become an ‘Empire of Lies’.
This western elite requirement, to shore up their waning power then boost it to a permanent, dictatorial status is the underlying factor behind the endless waterfall of lies that emanate not only from Zelensky but from every elite western mouthpiece in existence. The entirety of western mainstream media has fallen into line with the ‘war mode’, self-seeking stance of its political masters. They lie just as their political puppeteers lie. Just as Zelensky and his minions lie. A composite choir of liars all singing from the very same hymn sheet.
The true depths of the cynicism involved cannot be plumbed such is its all-pervasive nature. Those who condemned regimes of the past as propagandisers now shamelessly propagandise and condition their own populations mercilessly. Each radio and television across the entirety of the western world provides services that would have been the pride of the Soviet Union or present day North Korea. Only one side of any geopolitical issue is provided, enforced and reinforced across every news bulletin and every talking head invited to reinforce each lie transferred to the brain of every listener or viewer.
The comparisons with George Orwell’s novel, ‘1984’ are obvious and becoming more obvious by the day to those not completely oblivious and already fully brainwashed into subservience to the message. Each talking point is honed to perfection and repeated endlessly to reinforce the selected lie in service of demonising the “enemy”. Perpetual war is the goal as in ‘1984’ and all history must be made to mirror current requirements. The people must be brought to a state of perpetual fear and hatred of the chosen “enemy” and driven to only demand one thing, that ‘something must be done’, thus manufacturing the consent required to allow their elites to do as they wish. And that wish is to perpetuate war, death and destruction in the furtherance of their aims and goals.
The Sheeple are to be shepherded to provide their consent to be herded into the particular abattoir of the mind selected for them, brought to levels of abject distraction by a series of modern day versions of Rome’s ‘bread and circuses’, dumbed down to bovine levels of submissiveness and thus totally neutered and made safe from making an active stance against those so cruelly destroying their individuality and intelligence. Any lie will do if it contains the merest iota of fact within it, believable lies in other words… and always and ever ‘Fear Is The Key’.
The Nazis knew these techniques of mind control very well. Keep the populace in a state of fear and devotion to elites who would save them from the “enemy” that wishes to harm them. By manipulating the people and delivering them to the place they wanted them by every trick of psychology possible, you can make them malleable, putty in your hands to mould and shape. Zelensky is their selected puppet for this time, moulded and shepherded himself by a hundred public relations companies and of course by those who hold his strings from the highest offices of every western land.
The western world in the context of its political and media elites is a world of lies, all inextricably linked and constantly reinforced. Lies to maintain the hate, lies to maintain the fear and lies to confuse, manipulate and blind. Lies that degrade every aspect of intelligent perception of reality concerning the wider world, bounding the awareness of everyone within the sphere of containment where reality is only what you are told to believe and nothing more. This is the fact of western life in these deadly dark days while western leaders attempt to win their permanent status as warders of a newly created prison planet where no thought, word or action escapes their notice, where they can strike down and punish any sign of non-conformance to their needs. A world of lies where all but the elites must keep their mouths and minds firmly shut.
