VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

US heeded Moscow’s de-escalatory message – Russian deputy FM.
Sergey Ryabkov has spoken about a recent phone call between the Russian and US defense chiefs.
The US and some of its allies apparently heeded a signal from Russia that prevented an escalatory spiral, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has said.
In an interview with Russia-1 aired on Sunday, Ryabkov offered his assessment of two phone calls between Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov and Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, which took place on June 25 and July 12.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that the July call focused on “preventing security threats and reducing the risk of potential escalation.” The previous call was dedicated to “the exchange of views on the situation around Ukraine,” it said. Meanwhile, US officials have said that both conversations revolved around the importance of maintaining contacts amid the Ukraine conflict.
Ryabkov noted that “some signs indicate that the signal that was sent by the Russian side to Washington – and I believe not only to Washington, but also to some other capitals controlled by it – has reached them. We have avoided a new cycle of escalation.”

The senior diplomat also pointed out that while the Doomsday Clock – a symbolic representation of the likelihood of global catastrophe, primarily all-out nuclear war – is set at around two minutes to midnight, this does not mean that escalation is inevitable. “But we must approach what is happening with full responsibility. The military needs to keep its powder dry because very different scenarios are possible,” he remarked.
The New York Times reported last week, citing sources, that it was Belousov who called Austin in July to “relay a warning” regarding “a Ukrainian covert operation in the works against Russia that they believed had the Americans’ blessing.” The outlet claimed that the overture surprised Washington, which was unaware of any plan and subsequently told Kiev to abort it. Details of the alleged operation remain unclear.
This came after in late May Russian Senator Dmitry Rogozin said that a Ukrainian attack – reportedly involving drones – had targeted one of the country’s key early warning systems. While both Rogozin and the Austrian military suggested that the raid was sanctioned by the US, an unnamed American official told the Washington Post that his country was “concerned” by the attacks, noting that “Russia could perceive its deterrent capabilities being targeted.” He added that “these sites have not been involved in supporting Russia’s war against Ukraine.”

Ukraine targets Donbass cities with Western-supplied missiles.
Warehouses containing fuel tanks and residential areas in Lugansk came under attack, according to regional head Leonid Pasechnik.
Ukrainian forces targeted several locations in Donbass with Western-supplied missiles on Sunday, including the city of Lugansk, according to the local authorities.
Lugansk, the capital of Russia’s Lugansk People’s Republic, was hit with at least eight ATACMS and four Storm Shadow missiles, regional head Leonid Pasechnik said in a Telegram post, adding that warehouses containing fuel tanks and residential areas were hit. He said air defense systems were able to partially repel the attack, intercepting at least four missiles, with the debris causing small fires on the outskirts of the city.
Imagery circulating online shows a thick plume of black smoke rising from what is said to be a fuel warehouse. No official information has yet been provided on any possible casualties.
Russia’s ambassador-at-large for Ukrainian crimes, Rodion Miroshnik, wrote in a Telegram post that the Ukrainian military had probably attempted a “massive comprehensive strike” on Lugansk, but that air defenses worked well to repel it.
The acting head of the city, Yana Pashchenko, said several private residential buildings had been hit and that some roofs and outer walls had suffered shrapnel damage. She did not specify whether any residents had been injured.
Powerful explosions resulting from Ukrainian shelling were also heard in Donetsk and Makeyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to reporters on site. Footage circulating online of a large cloud of smoke and dust being propelled into the air purports to show a large explosion in Donetsk.
Kiev’s forces have repeatedly used long-range missiles supplied by their Western handlers to launch indiscriminate strikes on Russian territory. In June, for instance, Ukraine fired five ATACMS missiles on Lugansk, four of which were successfully intercepted. However, one missile made it through and heavily damaged a high-rise residential building, killing at least four civilians and injuring more than 20.

Houthis Shot Down Their Latest MQ-9 Reaper Using Soviet Kub Missile System, Source Says.
The Yemeni militia shot down its first MQ-9 over Sanaa in October 2017, mastering the use of a locally modified variant of the Soviet 2K12 Kub medium-range surface-to-air missile system and other legacy SAMs to destroy the heavy $31 million apiece General Atomics unmanned aerial vehicles.
Yemen’s Houthis brought down another US MQ-9 Reaper drone on Sunday, bringing the Reapers’ total losses over Yemen to ten, including seven since the start of the Red Sea Crisis last October.
A source told Sputnik that the drone had been shot down using the 2K12 Kub - a Soviet air defense system developed in the 1960s to take on array of aerial threats.
The Houthis are known to have modified the Kub - which was delivered to Yemen during the Cold War and in the 1990s in large quantities, to fire the homegrown Fater-1 (lit. 'Innovator-1') interceptor missile in 2019.
Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree said in a televised statement that the drone had been down while “conducting hostile activities” in the skies over Saada.
Saree added that Houthi naval and missile forces had mounted a joint operation to target the Liberian-flagged MV Groton container ship in the Gulf of Aden using ballistic missiles, saying the ship had “violated the decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine.” The US-led Red Sea coalition’s Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC) confirmed that the Groton had been targeted in a missile attack, saying the attack occurred Saturday about 225 km southeast of Aden, and caused minor damage to the ship. “All crew on board are safe,” and “the vessel was reported diverting to a port nearby,” JMIC said.
Photos of wreckage of a drone have appeared on social media, showing remnants of a matte-grey UAV lying on a rocky hillside in a rural area with dozens of people gathered around it. Sputnik could not immediately confirm the veracity of the photos.
Saada province is situated in northwestern Yemen, straddling the Saudi border to its north. The province is located about 200 km north of the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
United States Central Command – the combatant command responsible for US military operations in the Middle East, has not yet commented on whether the Pentagon has lost another Reaper, but the Houthis have not been known to exaggerate claims about their military successes in the past, with the US confirming their previous MQ-9 kills.
Saree said the Houthis would continue their military operations in a series of “escalation phases,” and would not stop until aggression against Yemen was stopped and the siege of Gaza lifted.
The reported drone shootdown and attack on the MV Groton is the first major operation mounted by the Houthis in two weeks, and comes after the deadly July 20 Israeli attack on the Yemeni port city of Hudaydah, which targeted the port’s oil facilities and a power plant, killed nine people and injured 87 others. Israel launched that attack after the Houthis flew a large drone into downtown Tel Aviv, crashing it into a building about 100 meters from the US Consulate.
Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi vowed earlier this week that the militia would support a “military response” to Israel’s “shameless and dangerous” assassination of Hamas Politburo Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31, slamming the killing as “a brazen crime” and “a blatant violation of international norms.”
“The stance of the Axis of Resistance is unequivocal: There must be a military response to Israeli transgressions,” al-Houthi said.
No Reapers are known to be operated by Israel. Along with the US military, the CIA, and US Customs and Border Protection, MQ-9s are present in the air forces and coast guard units of France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Britain, Japan and India.
The Pentagon has used Reapers extensively over Yemen going back to 2001 to target suspected al-Qaeda* fighters. After the Houthis gained control over much of western Yemen in 2014/2015, the US began using the drones to assist a Gulf coalition assembled to try to eject the militia from power. Since November, the US has been using the drones to surveil and strike the Houthis amid their semi-blockade of the Red and Arabian Seas to merchant shipping.
Reapers aren’t the only NATO-made aircraft brought down or damaged by the Houthis since 2015, with the militia also taking down at least three F-16 fighter jets, dozens of airplane-style and helicopter drones, and nearly a dozen other manned aircraft, including Mirage 2000, Eurofighter Typhoon, F-15 and Tornado jets, AH-64 Apache, AH-60, S-70 Black Hawk and SA-365 helicopters.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.
