“Ukraine. What is the truth...?
Why won’t western media tell both sides…?”
VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.
THE SINGLE WESTERN MSM REPORT ON THE LUGANSK ATROCITY, 3rd JUNE 2014
The video at the CNN link below is the crime scene sanitised by CNN, though played straight with honest reporting on the scene not playing things to Kiev’s tune.
(There was a time early in the war in the Donbass when CNN were not afraid to contradict the Ukrainian regime in Kiev.) Watch, because it's the first and last time you will see this.

SCOTT RITTER: Russia CRUSHES Ukraine's Army While US Faces DISASTROUS Defeats – Is Diplomacy DEAD?
Here’s the issue behind Russia’s Ukraine position that West still doesn’t get.
The US-led bloc needs to come to terms with the fact that its strategy has completely failed and to get real about peace terms.
Joe Biden is expected to make some new decisions regarding Ukraine in the weeks leading up to the country’s November elections. The US president was supposed to attend an important meeting of Kiev’s backers in Rammstein, Germany, on October 12 but canceled, citing the need to stay at home due to Hurricane Milton.
What decisions can we expect to be made when it eventually takes place? Most likely, nothing particularly important will happen – here’s why.
A unified stance
Amidst the fog of propaganda, it can be hard to discern true motives, and often these only become clear over time.
After the start of Russia’s military operation in February 2022, Western media presented a unified and convincing narrative: the entire so-called “free world” came together to defend Ukraine, determined to deliver a strategic blow to Russian President Vladimir Putin and restore the US-led global order. However, these proclamations didn’t match the steps taken by the West. After all, if your goal is to defeat an opponent, shouldn’t you do everything in your power to achieve it?
If the West was counting on a Ukrainian military triumph, it should have provided as much military aid to Kiev as possible. The first step would have been to open up full access to Western weapons arsenals; the second would have been to accept the country into NATO and turn it into a key stronghold on the border with Russia. Even if Putin would have done everything to stop this, such a step would automatically signify his defeat, since even a nuclear strike wouldn’t be able to change the situation and reverse the West’s decision.
Historical examples clearly illustrate this point. For instance, after withdrawing its troops, the West provided South Vietnam with nearly 3,000 aircraft and helicopters, 200 ships, over 2,500 combat boats, more than 1,000 tanks, up to 2,500 towed and self-propelled artillery pieces, and around 100,000 heavy vehicles, along with other equipment. Compare this to the situation in Ukraine, where receiving a dozen outdated fighter jets or two dozen old tanks is a major event.
Let’s take another example. In the aftermath of WWII, and during the Cold War, Türkiye became a key strategic region. Then-Soviet leader Joseph Stalin demanded the country’s neutrality and even sought to establish a Soviet naval base in the area of the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits. The USSR’s former allies, the US and UK, could not allow a Soviet military facility in the Mediterranean Sea, so Türkiye was accepted into NATO just three years after the alliance was formed, despite the fact that the country had nothing to do with the North Atlantic region or ‘Western democracies.’ At the time, the Truman Doctrine was in effect and the US was offering a security umbrella to anyone ‘under threat’ from communism.

Biden’s doctrine
Why are things different now? The doctrinal principle that has shaped the West’s policy on Ukraine since 2014 is to prevent Putin from achieving his goals and do it without engaging in a direct military conflict with Russia.
Biden and his administration have consistently stated that their priority is to avoid a full on confrontation with Russia, yet this message has largely been forgotten.
How does this principle align with what we have today – the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War Two, in which the West is fighting Russia by means of the Ukrainian army? Sure, it may not be on the same scale as Vietnam, but the military aid provided to Kiev is still significant.
The answer is simple: the decision-makers in the West – often referred to as the globalists – never truly believed that Ukraine could defeat Russia on the battlefield (Well, let’s say almost never; there was one notable exception, which we’ll discuss later).
Biden’s doctrine implied that the West could achieve its goals through financial and trade strategies. Recognizing that an armed conflict was looming, the globalists spent years developing an “economic nuclear bomb” that was supposed to bring Russia to its knees.
The plan was ambitious: they assumed that unprecedented “sanctions from hell” would essentially block Russia’s access to the outside world, plunging it into economic chaos and ultimately toppling the country’s current ruling elite. Maybe this wouldn’t happen overnight; perhaps it would take years, but the idea was that the Russian government would eventually yield to the demands of a people suffering from the sanctions, and would then yield to Western demands without firing a single shot. This would not only serve as a harsh lesson for Russia but would also send a strong message to the main enemy: China.
Ukraine’s military resistance wasn’t factored into this equation; many will recall that the Pentagon initially estimated that Kiev would fall within three days. Ironically, the US thought that if the 30-million-strong nation found itself under Russian control (the legitimacy of which no country in the world would officially recognize), it would become an unbearable burden for Putin and would only hasten Russia’s economic collapse.

Falling into the trap of its own propaganda
Moscow failed to achieve its goals through a swift and relatively bloodless military operation, while the West eventually realized that its sanctions didn’t achieve the intended effect either – or perhaps even backfired. After brands like Ikea, Starbucks, and Disney left Russia, the Russian people didn’t rise up to overthrow Putin; and the seizure of rich people’s yachts and mansions didn’t spur a regime change either.
In reality, the globalists dramatically overestimated the West’s influence over economic processes, not only in the so-called Global South but even in their own backyard. Three years into the conflict, they still cannot prevent dual-use and military goods from entering Russia, let alone everyday consumer products. Moscow quickly rerouted its trade flows, bypassing the West, found new partners, prioritized import substitution, and, despite certain challenges, achieved noticeable and sustained growth in its economy and foreign trade. All of this turned out to be beyond Western control.
So, the original plan didn’t work out, and this prompted the West to urgently invent a new strategy.
At the same time, the Russian military didn’t take Kiev, and strategically withdrew from northern Ukraine. Vladimir Zelensky convinced NATO countries that this was the result of the military triumph of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He argued that if the West provided Ukraine with enough weapons, it could hold out for a significant period of time. Back then, in the spring of 2022, the outcome of the economic war was still unclear, and with no better ideas on the table, the West settled on the following plan: the Ukrainian army would wear Russia down in combat, while Western sanctions would do the rest.
The Rammstein meetings on Ukraine became a platform for making major decisions regarding military supplies; at the same time, Western diplomats toured the Global South, urging it to join the economic war against Russia.
At that time, there was still no talk of admitting Ukraine into NATO or directly intervening in the conflict. However, at some point, the West came to believe its own propaganda: it came to think of the Russian army as a paper tiger which might be easier to crush than the Russian economy. At that point, Western leaders became convinced that they could force Putin to bend to their will through military rather than economic means.
This shift occurred in the fall of 2022, after Ukraine’s attack on the Crimean Bridge, and advances in Kherson and Kharkov regions, the chaos of partial mobilization in Russia, and the resulting emigration of some dissenters. At that time, some seemed to believe that one more push could bring Putin down.
Riding this wave of optimism, the globalists approved a major Ukrainian counteroffensive. Throughout the winter of 2022-2023, tank, artillery, and missile units were formed, and new, highly motivated Ukrainian brigades were trained in Western Europe. They were supposed to break through to the Sea of Azov and bring Putin to his knees. For this counteroffensive, the West supplied Ukraine with as many weapons as it could without compromising its own interests.

A suitcase without a handle
Everyone knows how this story ended. Kiev’s operation failed and became a turning point in the conflict. Having fallen far short of achieving its military goals, Kiev lost the trust of its backers who realized that they were initially right to think that Ukraine could never win this conflict on the battlefield.
However, it also became clear that Biden’s doctrine was ineffective. Russia couldn’t be economically crushed and it couldn’t be defeated on the battlefield. So what now?
Since the spring of 2022, we have often pointed out that the West has to make a choice: either engage in serious negotiations with Russia or enter into a direct military conflict. However, no one in NATO has been willing to take responsibility for such a decision – neither the increasingly incapacitated Biden, or Western European politicians. Who are equally unfit, but for different reasons.
For now, all the West can do is continue to send aid to Ukraine, while the latter can still try to hold out on the frontlines. At the same time, the West is trying to “test the ground” about possible negotiations with Moscow, but so far this has amounted to little more than wishful thinking. NATO has convinced itself that the Kremlin will be happy to freeze the conflict without any commitments, as long as such an option is put on the table.
What happens when this third gamble fails as well? Will the West finally shake off its lethargy and make a clear choice, or will it continue to go with the flow?
It seems that all the scheduled participants of the Rammstein meeting were probably happy enough at the news of its cancellation. Clearly, neither the outgoing US president nor NATO’s European members have any viable ideas regarding Ukraine. This means that, at least until the US elections, Ukraine will continue to endure reverses, to the accompaniment of the globalists’ hollow rhetoric.

Russia has charged Vasily Malyuk, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), with terrorism for his alleged role in the deadly bombing of the Crimean Bridge in 2023, TASS reported on Sunday, citing sources.
The strategic link connecting the peninsula with the Russian mainland was attacked by two explosives-laden Ukrainian maritime drones in July 2023, injuring a teenager and killing her parents, while damaging part of the roadway. Ukraine has claimed responsibility for the attack, as it did for the previous bombing of the bridge in autumn 2022.
According to a TASS law enforcement source, Russian investigators “have enough grounds” to prove that the head of Kiev’s successor to the Soviet KGB was involved in the 2023 bombing of the bridge. Malyuk has now been charged with terrorism and could potentially face life in prison if apprehended, the agency said.

In March, Malyuk was arrested in absentia as part of an investigation into the 2022 Crimean Bridge bombing, which Russian officials believe he was the main organizer of. Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) also previously said that Kirill Budanov, the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, played an important role in the attack.
That same month, the Russian Foreign Ministry called on Ukraine to extradite all those involved in the Crimean Bridge terrorist attacks, as well as numerous assassination attempts on high-profile Russian figures.
While Ukrainian officials were initially reluctant to admit their involvement in the bombings of the bridge, they later claimed responsibility. Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has also described it as a “legitimate target” that should be neutralized. Russia has said that the bridge is used only for civilian purposes.

Palestinian Authorities Working on State Recognition - Ambassador in Russia.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Palestinian policy is aimed at obtaining recognition of the independent Palestinian state from a larger number of countries, there are European countries ready to recognize its independence, the Palestinian Ambassador in Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal told Sputnik.
The diplomat took part in an action of solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, organized by the Venezuelan Embassy in Russia.
"Our main policy is to increase the number of countries recognizing the Palestinian state. About 149 countries recognize the Palestinian state, there are also a number of European countries ready for this recognition," the ambassador said.
He recalled that a number of Latin American countries — Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Nicaragua — had severed their relations with Israel. Nofal noted that Latin America showed solidarity — not only among governments but also among peoples — in supporting the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
On October 7, 2023, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. After that, Hamas fighters penetrated the border areas, opened fire on the military and civilians, and took more than 200 hostages. According to the authorities, about 1,200 people were killed.
Israel Carries Out Powerful Strikes on Settlements in Southern, Eastern Lebanon - Reports
The Israel Defense Forces then launched Operation Iron Swords in the Gaza Strip, which included strikes on civilian targets. Israel announced a complete blockade of the enclave: supplies of water, electricity, fuel, food and medicine were stopped. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, almost 42,000 people were killed, over 97,000 were injured. The Gaza Strip was effectively divided into southern and northern parts, and Israel is conducting a ground operation in Rafah, which is considered the last stronghold of Hamas.
The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the parties to cease hostilities. According to Moscow’s position, a settlement is possible only on the basis of the formula approved by the UN Security Council with the creation of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with its capital in East Jerusalem.

The share of the BRICS countries in global GDP, as measured by purchasing power parity (PPP), has been growing steadily to reach its current 36.7%, according to Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
On Thursday, Siluanov was addressing a meeting of BRICS ministers of finance and central bank governors. The officials were meeting in Moscow to discuss possible improvements to the international monetary and financial system, ahead of the BRICS 2024 summit in Kazan later this month. Russia is the current chair of BRICS.
“The BRICS [countries] are the engine of global economic growth,” the Russian minister said, noting that the average annual growth rate of the group’s economies will stand at 4.4% in 2024-2025. “If we look at the G7 countries, it is 1.7%. It is clear who is developing more dynamically,” Siluanov pointed out.
He added, however, that it’s not a matter of rivalry; rather, the task is to ensure higher growth rates of the BRICS economies and “ultimately to boost the income of our citizens.”
The BRICS group of emerging economies, which previously comprised Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, underwent major expansion after Iran, Ethiopia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates joined in January. More than 30 nations, including NATO member Türkiye, have applied to join the economic bloc.
According to data from the IMF, the share of the G7 (comprising Canada, France, Japan, Italy, the US, UK, and EU) in global GDP in terms of PPP has been in a steady decline over the past several years, dropping from 50.42% in 1982 to 30.39% in 2022. The Washington-based institution expects the figure to edge lower to 29.44% this year.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

THE GEOPOLITICAL & ECONOMIC FUNDAMENTALS OF OUR WORLD ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE
Largely unreported in the West, the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia will be discussing new ways for the world to work, ways allowing escape from domination by the USA and its allies.
This month, in Kazan, Russia the BRICS nations are gathering to agree on a path forward that will establish a new financial trading and money transfer system. When this system is up and operating the group will by its use escape the domination of the U.S. dollar. Currently, through the U.S. dollar western elites are able to blackmail nations into doing their bidding. The power of the U.S. dollar stems from its use as the default trading currency, accounting for the vast majority of trades worldwide. By threatening sanctions linked to the U.S. dollar western elites currently have a chokehold on much of the world. Now, via BRICS cooperation those nations can be set free.
Alongside the above development we will see outright victory for Russia in its conflict with the Ukrainian regime. Due to Russia having to fight virtually the entire collective west this victory will have enormous global implications. The victory against the Kiev regime and its backers across the West will not be merely in terms of its military prowess however. Russia has fought off and defeated the entire western economic and financial attack upon it emerging stronger with an economy more robust than ever. This while economies in Europe are in steep decline due to the very sanctions they sought to impose upon Russia which have backfired badly against them.
For all our lifetimes the western world with its domination globally has set the framework for the world generally. This domination is about to end. Already in decline due to massive debts, growing military impotency the ever-increasing shrinkage of their economic, political and strategic reach, the western elites have exhibited a parallel desperation and willingness to use ever-more panic-driven methods. These methods, employed to shore up the declining power and influence of the West are instead having the opposite effect.
The nations of the global majority, those outside the western orbit of direct influence, have for years been seeking an escape route that would allow them to emerge from the manipulative control of the West. With the economic rise of China after the reforms of Deng Xiaoping, and the economic resurrection of Russia brought about by Vladimir Putin a new pole of major economic influence rapidly emerged in the east. To this pole more and more nations have graduated over the years with the most major developments in this respect occurring over the previous few years. Recent years have seen both Iran and Saudi Arabia join BRICS. For many years these nations were sworn enemies. Now they cooperate on friendly terms in a relationship where economic and other areas are certain to flow from their BRICS membership.
The USA and its proxy powers in Europe along with those in the southern hemisphere such as Australia and New Zealand will soon no longer be able to rely on economic muscle to preserve their long-held domination. Their grip has been weakening for decades and now that grip will be seen to slacken to the point where it will be totally released. The impact of this change in the geopolitical fundamentals of our world cannot possibly be overestimated, it will be huge and massively transformative. Nothing will ever be quite the same again. Apart from transforming the economic fundamentals of our world we will see the geopolitical fundamentals underpinning the West’s grip over us wither and die. When the alternative arrangements now being set in place within BRICS and other Eurasian institutions come into full effect, there will be no more economic, military or political leeway for the kind of interference by the West we have seen in recent years. It will in effect find itself quarantined, unable to interfere, threaten, invade or cajole nations into doing its bidding.
With Russia’s imminent victory in Ukraine, having bested the collective power of the western world, along with its chairmanship this month in Kazan where fundamental financial and economic changes will be agreed to global norms, we can clearly recognise in which direction power is flowing. Russia and China, having prevailed against an ever-aggressive western political elite, will now build a global platform where peace not war is the norm, where, within an atmosphere of cooperation and tolerance toward diverse systems of governance bridges between nations will be built, not burned. Setbacks there will be to this project, mistakes will be made from time to time, but the goals sought, of freedom from western domination and a multipolar world where peace not war is the rule will certainly be attained. The idea of continuing with a world at war due to western elites demanding all others conform to the West’s needs, comply with its demands and are forced to recognise its permanent hegemony is too awful any longer to contemplate.
Therefore, despite the efforts of western political and media elites to downplay the extent of Russia’s victory against them and their Kiev clients and the importance of the BRICS summit in Kazan later this month, the flow of fundamental, historical changes into the future is now clearly unstoppable. Happily for the world and luckily for the elites of the USA and its proxy nations the powers that will now increasingly wrest power from them are benign and will not seek to replicate their own aggressively self-interested and jealous stance regarding power and spheres of influence. This will be a new world that will not reflect the polarised, colonialist past where one region of the world insists it is superior to all others and of such an exceptional nature that fully justify its demands, insisting on compliance of all others to its will. This kind of arrogance is about to disappear forever. This new reality remains a few years distant as of now, perhaps a decade or more of a rapidly dwindling western power remains, but that new world is very definitely on its way.
