VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.
THE SINGLE WESTERN MSM REPORT ON THE LUGANSK ATROCITY, 3rd JUNE 2014
The video at the CNN link below is the crime scene sanitised by CNN, though played straight with honest reporting on the scene not playing things to Kiev’s tune.
(There was a time early in the war in the Donbass when CNN were not afraid to contradict the Ukrainian regime in Kiev.) Watch, because it's the first and last time you will see this.
5 women and 3 men died, all civilians.

Articles from Russia Today (RT) - 15th December 2023:
Kiev sending its soldiers to die – Putin.
Ukraine is forcing its troops to defend a tiny foothold on the Russian-controlled bank of the Dnieper, the president has said.
The Ukrainian leadership has grown desperate in the wake of its failed summer counteroffensive, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the press at his ‘Results of the Year’ media event on Thursday.
Putin spoke about an ongoing operation in which Kiev has sent its troops on a “one way trip” to a tiny beachhead on the Russian-controlled bank of the Dnieper River in Kherson Region.
Ukrainian media outlets have been claiming over the past months that Kiev’s troops managed to secure a position on the left bank of the Dnieper River near the village of Krynki and have been “expanding” their presence in the area, while supposedly forcing Russian troops to retreat.
The president commented on the situation on Thursday, saying Kiev’s actions essentially amount to sending troops to be “exterminated.” He called it Ukraine’s "last attempt” to stage an attack after it “failed to achieve anything anywhere” in its much-touted summer counteroffensive.
“I don't even know why they do that,” the president said, adding that the Ukrainian soldiers themselves call the operations in the area a “one way trip.” According to Putin, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deliver reinforcements and supplies to the beachhead from the opposite river bank with boats that are under the constant fire from Russian artillery.
Russia’s losses in the area have been relatively limited and mostly amount to soldiers suffering non-lethal injuries, the president said, adding that Ukraine is losing troops “by the dozens.” Moscow’s troops have turned the Ukrainian beachhead into a “killing ground,” Putin said, calling the developments a “tragedy” for Ukraine. However, Kiev continues to sacrifice its troops in the area for political reasons, he added.
A Ukrainian soldier fighting near Krynki described the situation in the area as “hell” and recalled how boats full of Ukrainian soldiers had been blown out of the water in attempts to reach the beachhead. He also spoke about how it felt to be abandoned by Kiev’s military commanders.
“Those are not just regular Ukrainian soldiers, those are the elite assault teams that are relatively few,” the president said, adding that the losses near Krynki must be quite “sensitive” for Kiev.
Earlier, Ukrainian media outlets claimed that the Russians were unable to push the Ukrainians out of the area. According to Putin, Moscow does not even want to. “I would say it plainly: it is advantageous for us that they [the Ukrainian Armed Forces] are just mindlessly throwing their personnel in there,” he said, adding that he told the Russian General Staff chief, Valery Gerasimov, not to launch any major attempts to reclaim lost territory in the area.
Kiev launched its counteroffensive in early June. In late November, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky publicly acknowledged that the much-hyped operation had ended without success. The Ukrainian attacks had largely failed to bring about any notable changes to the front lines during the six-month offensive.
According to Russian Defense Ministry estimates, Ukraine has lost over 125,000 troops and 16,000 pieces of heavy equipment in failed attempts to move forward over the past half year.

Russian economy, sanctions & Ukraine conflict: Key takeaways from Putin’s marathon press conference.
Over two million questions were submitted to the head of state for his ‘Results of the Year’ event.
Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on key international issues during a marathon Q&A on Thursday. Topics ranged from the Ukraine and Gaza conflicts to Moscow’s relations with the US and its allies, as well as the transformation of the global economy amid unprecedented sanctions imposed by the West on Russia.
The president hosted his annual press conference, during which both Russian and foreign journalists, as well as members of the general public, were able to ask him questions directly.
The ‘Results of the Year’ event, which was broadcast live on TV, lasted more than four hours. Here are the key takeaways.
1. Sovereignty & Economic Growth
Putin said Russia’s economy had demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of outside pressure over the past year, noting that GDP was expected to grow by 3.5% by the end of 2023. He specifically pointed to industrial production at 3.6% growth, as well as a decrease in external public debt from $46 billion to $32 billion.
Real wages in Russia also continue to grow and real incomes are set to increase 5% by the end of the year amid a historically low unemployment rate of 2.9%, Putin said.
The nation has also reduced its reliance on the US dollar in foreign trade and started to use its national currency, the ruble, more actively, according to the president, who insisted that strengthening Russia’s sovereignty in the economic and other fields would remain a priority for Moscow.
“Existence without sovereignty is impossible for Russia,” he said.
2. State of Russian Armed Forces
Putin said as many as 617,000 troops were currently involved in Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine and Russia’s new regions, and that hundreds of volunteers join the army almost on a daily basis. The president also said that the nation was capable of maintaining its military power without any need to resort to additional mobilization measures.
Out of some 300,000 who entered the ranks during the partial mobilization last autumn, around 244,000 soldiers are still in the combat zone and are “fighting hard.” He said 14 of them had been awarded the nation’s highest military honor and named Heroes of Russia.
Up to 1,500 people sign contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry every day, according to Putin. “The flow of men who want to protect the interests of the motherland with weapons in their hands does not stop.”
3. Ukraine Conflict & Moscow’s Goals
The conflict between Moscow and Kiev is essentially a “civil war” instigated by the US and its allies, said the country’s leader. Russia spent decades trying to build normal relations with Ukraine “at any cost.” He called the latest developments a “great tragedy.”
“After the coup d’etat of 2014, it became clear to us that we would no longer be allowed, by force, to build any sort of normal relations with Ukraine,” Putin said. The president added that Washington had publicly admitted to spending $5 billion on the Maidan coup.
Russia’s goals in the conflict have not changed, Putin said, explaining that Moscow seeks the “de-Nazification and demilitarization of Ukraine” as well as “neutral status” for the country. Peace will come as soon as these goals are reached, he claimed.
4. Relations with the West
Moscow cannot trust the US and its allies amid NATO’s “uncontrollable desire to creep towards our borders” and Western policies which led to the current conflict in Ukraine.
“So how are we supposed to build relations with them?” Putin asked, referring to the West. The US and its allies are largely “shooting themselves in the foot” by slapping Russia with new sanctions, which he said ended up hurting them more than they did Moscow.
The EU and other US allies have also “largely lost [their] sovereignty.” Most Western nations, with the exception of nations like Hungary or Slovakia, repeatedly take decisions that only benefit Washington while hurting those nations themselves, Putin maintained.
“Many European officials act on the surface like General [Charles] de Gaulle, who fought for the interests of France with arms in his hands… but end up de-facto acting like Marshal [Philippe] Petain… who submitted to the occupants and became a collaborator during WWII.” Putin was referring to the leader of the Free French Forces and the general who signed an armistice with Nazi Germany and headed the collaborationist Vichy government during World War II.
5. ‘Catastrophe’ in Gaza
The events currently unfolding in Gaza are nothing short of a “catastrophe.” The president cited UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who called the Palestinian enclave a “graveyard for children.”
“Such an assessment speaks volumes,” he said of Guterres’ comment.
Putin related that the disaster in Gaza is “nothing like” the Russian military operation against Ukraine. Moscow insists on the recognition of a State of Palestine along UN-endorsed lines, and “a fundamental basis for an Israeli-Palestinian settlement should be established.”
He also pointed to the fact that some nations were blocking UN Security Council decisions regarding the situation in Gaza, thus essentially hindering its core function.
“This is the way it has always worked, especially during the Cold War,” he said, and warned that the UN would lose its clout if “no decisions are made.” The US has vetoed several resolutions aimed at a ceasefire in the Palestinian enclave.
6. Fate of US Nationals Jailed in Russia
Moscow is willing to exchange US nationals Paul Whelan and Evan Gershkovich, but wants such deals to be “mutually acceptable.” Whelan was sentenced in 2020 to 16 years in prison for espionage, while Gershkovich is still awaiting trial on similar charges.
“We have not refused sending [them] back [to the US] and we do not refuse to do so. We just want to reach an agreement,” according to the president. He stated that such a deal should be palatable to both sides, not just Washington.
Russia is still in contact with the US on the issue, and the “the dialogue continues.” Although the talks are “not easy,” the two sides are “speaking the language they both understand,” according to the Russian leader. Putin called on Washington to “hear Moscow” on the issue, adding that “humanitarian reasons” should be at the core of any deal.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.
