A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

The latest Abrams M1 tank has been destroyed by Russian forces in the country’s Kursk Region, Military Watch Magazine has reported.
Ukraine has lost two thirds of its US-supplied Abrams M1 main battle tanks in the space of only half a year, Military Watch Magazine has reported.
The outlet said in an article on Thursday that, according to its estimates, “close to 20” out of 31 tanks provided to Kiev by Washington have already been destroyed by Russian forces.
The latest Abrams was blown up in Russia’s Kursk Region, Military Watch Magazine said, based on videos uploaded by Russian Telegram channels. It appears to be the first American tank lost by Ukraine during its ongoing incursion into internationally recognized Russian territory, it added.

The M1 in question had “a significantly improved” explosive reactive armor, as Ukraine took steps to increase the protection of the US-made tanks, “particularly after they took heavy losses in their first engagements with Russian forces in February-April 2024,” the report read. However, the Abrams still could not withstand a projectile from a handheld anti-tank missile system, likely a Kornet, with which it had reportedly been hit, it stressed.
Military Watch reminded subscribers that Ukrainian troops operating the M1s had previously complained to Western media about “technical issues, including vulnerability of electronic components to condensation, as well as their vulnerability to Russian fire.”
The outlet described the Abrams, the German Leopard 2, the British Challenger 2 and the Soviet era T-80 tanks as “the scarcest tank classes in Ukrainian service.”

But it also pointed out that, while Kiev expects a replacement for its destroyed Leopards from the EU nations, “there have been few indications that the US could make further deliveries of Abrams tanks.”
Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Saturday that, since the start of its incursion into Kursk Region on August 6, Ukraine has already lost more than 5,550 troops and hundreds of units of military equipment, including 71 tanks.

Ukraine Loses Over 5,500 Troops, 71 Tanks in Kursk Region Since August 6.
Ukraine has lost over 5,500 troops, 71 tanks, 57 armored personnel carriers and other military equipment in the Russian region of Kursk since early August, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the [Ukrainian] losses amounted to more than 5,500 troops, 71 tanks, 30 infantry fighting vehicles, 57 armoured personnel carriers, 372 armoured fighting vehicles," the defense ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost 170 motor vehicles, 36 artillery guns, five anti-aircraft missile systems, 11 multiple launch rocket launchers, including three HIMARS systems and one multiple launch rocket system, seven electronic warfare stations, a counter-battery warfare station, four units of engineering vehicles, including two counterobstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle.
In the attack on the Kursk Region alone, Ukraine lost more than 360 troops and 29 armored vehicles over the past 24 hours, the ministry estimated.
"Over the past 24 hours, the [Ukrainian] losses amounted to more than 360 troops and 29 units of hardware including two tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, two armoured personnel carriers, 22 armoured fighting vehicles, two artillery guns, 12 motor vehicles, one Bukovel-AD electronic warfare stations, and one counter-battery warfare station," the bulletin read.
Russian warplanes struck Ukrainian forces in 11 settlements of the Kursk Region: Apanasovka, Vishnyovka, Borki, Krasnooktyabrsky, Kruglenkoye, Mikhaylovka, Lyubimovka, Malaya Loknya, Plekhovo, Snagost, and Yuzhny.
Clusters of enemy manpower and hardware were targeted near Atinskoye, Glukhov, Druzhba, Zhuravka, Zapseliye, Kalinov, Novaya Sloboda, Pervomayskoye, Pavlovka, Sadki, Svessa, Sumy, Surovatka, Chuikova, and Yampol, the ministry said.
In the past 24 hours, Russian troops continued to comb woods for Ukrainian sabotage groups trying to push deeper into western Russia.
"The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue reconnaissance and search operations to locate and eliminate the enemy small sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempting to get to the depth of the Russian territory," the Russian ministry said.

The Ukrainian armed forces have lost approximately 2,100 servicepeople in the special operation zone over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
Russian troops of the West grouping inflicted losses on four Ukrainian brigades, eliminating up to 520 enemy soldiers.
Meanwhile, the South grouping of Russian troops repelled a Ukrainian counterattack and progressed to more advantageous positions, with Ukrainian forces losing up to 690 personnel during this period, the ministry said in a bulletin. Three Ukrainian ammunition depots were destroyed.
In the operational zones of the North grouping in the Sumy and Kharkov regions, Ukrainian forces lost up to 135 servicepeople and a German-supplied Marder infantry fighting vehicle. Ukraine also lost around 130 servicepeople and a French Caesar howitzer in the area under the East grouping's responsibility, the bulletin said.
Units of the Center grouping improved their tactical position and repelled seven counterattacks from Ukrainian forces, leading to enemy losses of over 580 personnel, one tank and two armored vehicles, according to the bulletin.
Russia’s Dnepr Group defeated Ukrainian troops in the southern Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, eliminating more than 65 Ukrainian soldiers.
During the same period, Russian air defenses downed three US-supplied ATACMS ballistic missiles fired by Ukraine as well as five French-made Hammer precision-guided bombs, 12 HIMARS rockets and 44 Ukrainian drones.

Karim Khan has asked the court to decide on issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as well as the leader of the Palestinian militant group.

The chief prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) has called on the sitting judges to “urgently render its decisions” on arrest warrants for the leaders of Israel and Hamas.
In May, Karim Khan filed a request to issue warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as top Hamas officials Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Mohammed Deif.
The prosecutors argued that the men were complicit in “war crimes and crimes against humanity” committed in Israel and Gaza.
The court has since granted permission to 18 states, including the US, Germany, and South Africa, as well as dozens of organizations and individuals, to provide their opinions about the ICC’s jurisdiction on the matter, given that “Palestine cannot exercise criminal jurisdiction over Israeli nationals (under) the Oslo Accords.”
In a 49-page document, Khan asked the judges to expedite the process, stressing that “any unjustified delay in these proceedings detrimentally affects the rights of victims.”

“It is settled law that the Court has jurisdiction in this situation,” the prosecutor wrote in the legal brief, as quoted by the Associated Press. He argued that suggestions that the court could not take up the case were “without merit,” and that any party making a claim to the contrary “misunderstands basic concepts of jurisdiction under international law.”
Both Israel and Hamas have dismissed the allegations of war crimes, with Netanyahu blasting the accusation as a “disgrace.” Hamas has denounced Khan’s request for an arrest warrant, saying that it equates “the victim with the executioner.”
Israel is not a member of the ICC, which means that Netanyahu and Gallant will not face an immediate risk of prosecution, although an active arrest warrant could significantly restrict their travel abroad.

Haniyeh was assassinated last month in Tehran, and Sinwar has been chosen to replace him. Israel claimed that Deif had been killed in an airstrike in the southern part of Gaza in July. However, Hamas insists that Deif is still alive.
Over 40,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the war between Israel and Hamas erupted in October. The conflict started with a surprise attack by Hamas on Israel, which left around 1,200 people dead. The militant group also took more than 200 hostages, some of whom were later released through prisoner swaps or rescued by the Israeli Army.
In December, South Africa filed a genocide case against Israel in the International Court of Justice, an international body that is separate from the ICC. Israel has rejected the allegations while accusing Hamas of using civilians in Gaza as human shields.

The West is looking to shut down criticism of its foreign policy in Ukraine and Gaza, according to one former CIA analyst.
Opposition to the Telegram encrypted messaging platform is driven by the West’s desire to surveil online activity and suppress criticism of its foreign policy, according to ex-CIA analyst Larry Johnson.
The analyst made the claim during an interview with Sputnik after news broke that Telegram founder Pavel Durov had been arrested by French authorities after his private jet landed at an airport outside Paris.
“I think the charges are all implausible, false,” said the co-founder of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity. “They're charging him reportedly with terrorism. And with fraud. So this clearly smacks of a trumped up political case.”
“They're going to charge him with terrorism because he has refused to censor certain groups, people that support Hamas are allowed to communicate freely on Telegram. Telegram is one of the few channels that actually allows information that's critical of Western policy to go on. I think that's really at the root of this.”
Durov reportedly faces a number of charges relating to Telegram’s lack of moderation, which authorities claim implicates him in the sharing of content related to terrorism, drug trafficking, fraud, and money laundering.
The platform has become known as a home for political dissidents in the West, who are able to publish content that is discouraged or disallowed on other online platforms.
“There was a time when [Durov] was considered friendly with [French President Emmanuel] Macron,” Johnson recalled. “But that's clearly come and gone because this kind of arrest would not have happened without Macron's knowledge and approval.”
“It's possible that he's being turned into a bargaining chip. But the question is, who's going to bargain for him? He walked away from Russia,” he noted, recalling that the tech entrepreneur left the country in 2014. “The fact of the matter is he left Russia and accepted French citizenship, and has chosen to reside in the [United] Arab Emirates. So he's not high on the priority list of Russian intelligence to get him back by any stretch. He's of no use to Russia in that regard.”
“I think the Westerners – the French in particular – have made a mistake in grabbing him because they think that this is going to somehow create leverage or create an issue with Russia.”
Previously Durov claimed during an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson that the FBI had attempted to encourage one of Telegram’s engineers to create a backdoor in the application for the use of Western intelligence agencies.
Johnson claimed that criticism of the US-backed proxy war in Ukraine and Israel’s military operation in Gaza on Telegram particularly chafed Western authorities. The social media app TikTok was similarly attacked by US legislators earlier this year when legislation was passed to ban the app after this fall’s presidential election.
The pro-Israel lobby has been implicated in the passage of the bill, with Anti-Defamation League executive Jonathan Greenblatt lamenting the popularity of pro-Palestine content on the platform. Zionist settlers have sought to colonize Palestine and displace its indigenous population since the founding of Israel in 1948.
“I think the major issue with respect to the West is the coverage that [Telegram] provides about what's going on in Ukraine and the coverage he allows with respect to the Israeli genocide against Palestinians in the Middle East and in Gaza and the West Bank,” Johnson claimed. “I think particularly the last issue has rankled the Israelis quite a bit. And they've been looking to shut him down. The French reportedly have been looking to shut Telegram down. So we'll see.”
“Even if you're a Russian billionaire you’ve got a big, fat target on your back,” he warned.
Johnson claimed US contributors to Russian media outlets such as Sputnik and RT could continue to face intimidation after FBI raids on the homes of Scott Ritter and Dimitri Simes this month.
“They've already gone after Dimitri Simes,” Johnson noted. “Dimitri is an American who became a naturalized American [citizen] in the 1970s because he was a dissident against the Soviet Union, against the Communist Party. And now the very country that he fled to for freedom and protection has turned on him and has unleashed our version of the secret police on him.”
“If it can happen to someone like Dimitri it can happen to anybody.”

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

WHICH NATIONS ARE INITIATING WARS ON OUR PLANET AND WHY?
Our world is at war. Which nations have instigated the wars now taking place, what are the motivations involved, and what might the final outcome be for all of us?
As you will no doubt be aware by this point in the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, it is a proxy war conducted by the western powers using Ukraine as a tool with which they aim to significantly weaken Russia.
Some may doubt this and ask what evidence there is for this assertion.
If all the opportunities to resolve the differences between the Russians and Ukrainians are examined I would suggest that the above assertion becomes patently obvious.
There were innumerable moments when those powers could have accepted the offers that Russia made leading up to February 24th 2022 to avoid the horrendous loss of life and destruction we have seen and continue to see in Ukraine and now in Russia. Russia tried again and again to avoid the circumstances we see now. First with the Minsk Accords from 2014 onwards, then the offer to negotiate a new security architecture for Europe that included all stakeholders there. Then, in the second month of the conflict Russia agreed to negotiations in Istanbul which almost reached a settlement where Ukraine would refrain from joining NATO and all other issues would then be discussed by the national leaders of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
Despite all the above points where a path to peace and reconciliation could have been progressed rather than the road to war, Russia found its every effort rejected and the way forward to a peaceful outcome blocked. To stop Ukraine from joining NATO (a long term red line for Russia) and to protect the majority Russian-speaking population of the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine, Russia was left with no good choices but to mount its special military operation to attain these goals.
As at least one U.S. official has admitted, the goal of the Ukraine operation was to weaken Russia. This was preceded in the year 2014 with a US-supported insurrection and coup in Ukraine’s capital, Kiev. Can anyone be in any doubt which side is the aggressor in all this? There is no need to take the Ukrainian example in exclusion of course, the USA has more than a century of form regarding regime change operations through both the CIA and the U.S. military, at times including allied forces such as the ‘Coalition of the Willing’ in Iraq. Looking back over all the various areas of interference in the sovereign territories and affairs of other nations we can easily see what U.S. “influence” has wrought in both Latin America and the Middle East, and now in Eastern Europe.
The USA with its 'manifest destiny’ to transform the world into its ‘exceptional’ self, along with the British elite concept of its own superiority we can easily detect where the urge to interfere in other cultures and systems of governance has its genesis. In no other no nations do we see the almost religious fervour to interfere and transform others that we see in these two. You can even look further back in time for even more proof of the way North American and British elites conceive of themselves as above all others with an almost divine right to do as they please. The genocide of the native population of North America, the slave trade and the British Empire are clear evidence of the attitudes at play.
Ukraine is just the latest example of the kind of cynicism and complete lack of conscience it takes to create the kind of mayhem necessary for undermining others and forcing them to do as you say. The Ukrainians are merely the latest dispensable tool the USA and its proxies have decided to use to further their own self-interested goals. These goals can be seen being forwarded throughout history as related above though currently they have been transformed from long-term ambitions to those which are extremely short term. What has brought about this speeding of the interference objectives of the elites of these nations? They are twofold.
The Decline of the West and Rise of the Rest
For centuries the western nations have ruled both land and sea in one way or another. Their elites established dominion and empires and were at all times determined to hold onto what they had taken and that which they now controlled. This was always at the point of a gun or through an aspect of ‘battleship diplomacy’. There was no way that the underclass (as they saw them) of other nations would be allowed to affect their ‘national interests’. Their word was law and woe betide any individual or group that attempted to change the status quo or stand in their way. Both were utterly ruthless in maintaining their power, influence, domination and control.
The domination of the West has continued for centuries, enriching every western nation and impoverishing those they exploited. However, in the late 20th century things began to change and the changes involved were increasingly evident. The main change on the geopolitical and economic horizon was China. Its growth became a talking point for the entire world. Along with neighbouring nations China began to present growing economic rivalry to the West. As western elites saw things this situation was a threat to their ‘national interests’ and this was seen as tantamount to waging war against the West. Of course it was and is not seen as a war from the view of those seeking only to bring economic well being to their populations.
The economic analysts reporting to western political elites were without question warning them that it was only a matter of time before their power, influence, domination and control over the world that they had enjoyed for centuries was about to wane and ultimately be lost altogether. So this is one of the factors that can account for the speeded urgency with which the West as a whole has determined to take immediate action to fight, weaken and reverse this process.
Nine Eleven and the Need to Attain Full Spectrum Dominance
The atrocious events of nine eleven added immensely to the factor above. It put rocket boosters under the process already underway to fight back against nations rising to take away the power, influence, domination and control exercised by the West. Immediately after nine eleven it is clear that a decision was made to eliminate all forces and systems of governance that did not recognise the USA and its allies as the rightful ‘exceptional’ and ‘superior’ power worldwide. Nothing less was acceptable. No nations were to be left who were in the least antagonistic or even neutral regarding western domination. All who remained incalcitrant and unwilling to bow before western power after nine eleven were to be eliminated and transformed with all individuals in power replaced. Thus the regime change operation, beginning with the ‘War on Terror’ began. This operation continues to this day and its current progress (or lack of it) can be seen across eastern Ukraine.
The ultimate end of the goal to push back, eliminate and replace all rival powers will result in a virtual prison planet with the USA and its allies having the status of perpetual wardens. The entire planet will then be monitored for disaffection with western rule. Punishments will be swift and severe. There will be nothing left to chance, under no circumstances will the elites of these nations allow any percentage of resistance to occur. Any percentage for them would be counted as a risk. Such resistance might grow. Ultimately growing into a level of resistance and organisation where another nine eleven-type event might possibly occur. Therefore we would all be in surveillance lockdown from the attainment of ‘full spectrum dominance’ onward, in perpetuity.
As long as the USA and its allies determine there is a chance to fully regain their status as top dogs who have the ability to manipulate the world there will be war. And as long as there is any resistance to complete western dominance there will also be war. These are the two factors that ensure war will be a constant as long as the USA and its allies have enough power to continue to fuel their wars. Currently things hang in the balance. The multipolar world where western power has been put into a status of balance with all others is just now being born through the BRICS group and related developments such as de-dollarization, but the power of the USA and its allies still remains very strong at this point. All hangs on the developments that will take place as nations unite in the face of increasing western aggression designed to weaken and ultimately transform them into western vassals.
All is to play for. Those who find our world at war positive and believe the sacrifices to bring about ‘liberal hegemony’ (Professor John J. Mearsheimer’s term) are ‘worth it’ will be rooting for the West in this latest and last world war. Those who desire peace, with nations being allowed to have the systems of governance that suits them rather than having western “diplomacy” thrust upon them will root for all others. This is the time we live in, the watershed era when either tolerance for difference or demand for conformity will prevail. Each of us will make our choice and act as we can to promote our favoured outcome. Remaining silent and hoping for the best is of course also an option. Which side and outcome do YOU favour?
