VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Ukraine taking heavy losses in Kursk – Moscow.
Kiev has lost nearly 1,000 soldiers and over 100 armored vehicles over the past several days, Russia’s Defense Ministry has said.
Russian forces continue to inflict heavy losses on Ukrainian troops that crossed the border into Kursk Region earlier this week, the Defense Ministry in Moscow reported on Friday, providing an estimate of Kiev’s casualties in the incursion.
According to the ministry, Ukraine has lost up to 945 soldiers as well as 102 armored vehicles, including 12 tanks and 17 armored personnel carriers. The figures include more than 280 troops and 27 armored vehicles destroyed over the past 24 hours in areas bordering Kursk Region, Moscow added.
The report also stated that Russian airstrikes have recently destroyed five Stryker armored personnel carriers as well as a Ukrainian military column that consisted of a tank, four APCs, and a Kozak combat vehicle.
The ministry added that the operation to repel and destroy Ukraine’s forces in the region continues, and that the Russian military, aided by airstrikes and artillery fire, has prevented Kiev’s attempts to conduct raids deep into Russian territory in Kursk Region.

Ukrainian forces launched their cross-border incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region in the early hours of Tuesday. The leadership in Kiev has said one of the objectives of the assault is to sow “fear” into the hearts of the Russian population, in order to lower support for their government and eke out a stronger negotiating position.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has described the attack as a “large-scale provocation,” and has accused Kiev of conducting “indiscriminate strikes” on civilians, residential buildings, and ambulances. Multiple videos circulating online in the past two days appear to show Ukrainian troops firing on civilian cars.
The Russian Defense Ministry has estimated that Kiev’s assault was carried out by forces numbering up to a thousand, supported by tanks and artillery. The chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, reported on Wednesday that Kiev’s incursion had been halted by the Russian military, and that Ukraine had suffered heavy losses.

Kiev’s forces lost 12 service members and two boats as they attempted to raid the Kinburn Spit, Russia’s Defense Ministry has said.

The Russian military has wiped out a Ukrainian special forces unit that attempted to conduct an amphibious operation in Nikolayev Region, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said, releasing a video showing the aftermath of a fierce battle.
In a statement on Friday, the ministry said Russian forces foiled an attempt by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group to land on the Kinburn Spit, a narrow stretch of land that connects to Russia’s Kherson Region and extends into the Black Sea.
Officials said the group, which included up to 16 service members on two high-speed motorboats, attempted to disembark on the spit under the cover of two other vessels. They added that the force suffered its first casualties on the beach when it hit a minefield. Those who managed to reach dry land were cut down by small arms fire, the statement said.
After suffering heavy losses, the Ukrainian military tried to evacuate from the coastline. However, as they attempted to do so, two boats were destroyed by artillery and missile fire, the ministry said, adding that the total number of Ukrainian casualties was 12.
Officials also shared drone footage of the landing site, which shows at least one heavily damaged boat stuck on the shore, with several bodies lying around.

Several Russian Telegram channels covering the conflict said the Ukrainian troops had come under fire from mortars and multiple rocket launchers, and that up to 80% of the force had been eliminated. They also posted a highly graphic video from the battlefield, apparently further from the coast, showing what appears to be at least four Ukrainian soldiers killed in action.
Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) has confirmed the raid, claiming its forces incurred losses on the Russians. The agency said Ukrainian special forces attacked Russian fortifications in the area and that the troops raised a Ukrainian flag near a monument to famed Russian commander Aleksandr Suvorov – located not far from the beach.
Ukrainian forces occasionally attempt to stage amphibious operations in Kherson Region, including across the Dnieper River, and sometimes in Crimea, although they almost never manage to hold on their gains for long.

China files WTO complaint against EU.
The bloc’s preliminary ruling on import duties “lacks factual and legal basis,” Beijing has argued.
China has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) over the European Union’s imposition of provisional additional tariffs on electric vehicles (EVs) made in the Asian country.
The EU last month slapped tariffs ranging from 17.4% to 37.6% on Chinese EV imports on top of existing 10% duties, citing Beijing’s “unfair subsidization” of car manufacturers.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on Friday that it had turned to the WTO dispute settlement mechanism “to safeguard the development rights and interests of the electric vehicle industry and cooperation on the global green transformation.”
The ministry argued that the EU’s preliminary ruling lacks a factual and legal basis, seriously violates WTO rules and undermines global cooperation on climate change.
“We urge the EU to immediately correct its wrong practices and jointly maintain the stability of China-EU economic and trade cooperation as well as EV industrial and supply chains,” the Chinese ministry said.
The EU’s introduction of tariffs in early July followed an investigation launched last year by the European Commission into claims that subsidies allowed Chinese EVs to be sold at much lower prices than ones produced in the bloc. Based on the results of the probe, the commission concluded that the battery electric vehicles (BEV) “value chain” in China benefits from “unfair subsidization,” which is causing a “threat of economic injury” to EU car makers. A definitive decision on the tariffs is due by November.

China’s Ministry of Commerce has warned that the EU could trigger a “trade war” if it continues to escalate tensions. Beijing also accused the bloc of unfair practices during its anti-subsidy probe, and responded by launching an anti-dumping investigation in relation to certain pork products from the EU.
The EU is the largest overseas market for Chinese EV makers. The value of EU imports of Chinese electric cars surged to $11.5 billion in 2023, from just $1.6 billion in 2020, accounting for 37% of all EV imports to the bloc, according to recent research.
The EU’s prohibitive move followed the US raising its tariff on Chinese EVs from 25% to 100% in May.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE KURSK REGION OF RUSSIA?
Western mainstream news is full of the incursion by Ukraine into Russia's Kursk region. They are reporting as if this is a huge success by Kiev. But what is the reality behind this western bias?
A large force of Ukrainian special forces along with a significant number of mercenaries have made an incursion into the Kursk region of Russia which borders on the sumy region of Ukraine. Virtually all news regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is focusing on this event currently. So what is going on there now, what exactly did the Ukrainians achieve with this, why did Russia allow it to happen and what possible goals do the Ukrainians have by mounting this operation?
What might Kiev’s goals be for this operation?
Due to the conflict going badly for the regime across every area of the Russian campaign, especially in the area adjacent to Avdeevka Kiev needed:
a) a diversion for public relations purposes to convince western sponsors that they were still in the fight.
b) a way to lift sagging morale in the now increasingly poorly-trained and partly forced-conscript Ukrainian army that is b.ing steadily outgunned and out-maneuvered.
To target and capture the nuclear power plant at Kurskaya, the Kurskaya NPP.
To cause Russia to divert forces from the battlegrounds to the south where Russia is taking towns and villages and Ukrainian forces are being increasingly pushed back.
To foment discontent in Russia against Vladimir Putin, the Russian government and Russia’s military high command in the hope that Russian public sentiment would cause large protests to facilitate the overthrow of at least one, or all three.
How did the Russians come to let this happen?
Was there negligence in not responding to warnings that there was a significant Ukrainian military build up in the adjacent Sumy region? Were warnings received and not acted upon?
Were insufficient Russian forces stationed in the Kursk region for emergency situations such as this?
Did the Russian military remove the mines set near the border region with the intent to send Russian troops through in a proposed incursion into the Ukrainian Sumy region which allowed the Ukrainians far easier access to mount their incursion?
Was such an operation by the Ukrainians given extremely low credence due to its being perceived as having no strategic, operational or tactical benefit for the Ukrainian in terms of the ultimate outcome of the conflict and therefore robust defensive measures were not considered necessary?
What did the Ukrainians achieve with this operation in the initial stages?
Initially, small groups of Ukrainian forces moved speedily to various locations in raid operations. They covered a wide range of areas up to 15 km into Russian territory. The number of troops in each group was small. The entire initial force was approximately 1,000 strong with a reported 2,000 more in reserve. The campaign appeared very successful initially as the reporting appeared to reflect the raiding troops taking villages under their control. This was inaccurate as the number of Ukrainian troops involved in each raiding party was too small to achieve this.
After the initial attack with these limited raiding party forces the slower advance of military hardware including some engineering equipment began to progress into the region. These will, in the main, not have reached the furthest areas reached by the fast-moving raiding parties.
A public relations coup was certainly achieved across the western world and to a more limited degree within the Russian Federation. Through appearing to take one village after another and what appeared to be a significant total number the objectives above of 1a and 1b were certainly achieved.
What is going on in the Kursk region of Russia now?
After the initial successes of the Ukrainians and associated mercenary forces Russia is now stabilizing the situation with the reinforcement of positions in each area where the opposition forces have arrived in force.
Despite opposing forces having spread a false alarm to Kursk region residents in the area beyond their current position to leave their homes due to danger and thus crowding some roads there, Russian defense forces continue to arrive in the as yet lightly occupied region.
Losses of the Ukrainians force are reportedly very high, amounting to around 1,000 troops/mercenaries, dead or wounded.
The way the battle for the Kursk region is going the trend can be very much characterized as a stabilization of the situation with Ukrainian forces stopped or slowed with resistance to them growing by the hour due to the arrival of Russian troops and armor and the work of Russian air power.
What is the likely outcome of this Ukrainian offensive and what time scale are we looking at?
The certain outcome will be the complete ejection of all opposition forces, whether Ukrainian army or mercenary groups from the Kursk region. This will be followed by a sanitary zone being created within the adjacent Ukrainian Sumy region by the Russian military. The Kiev regime will have lost in the ballpark of 2,000 troops most of whom will be their most highly trained special forces. This will leave the regime even weaker than the already parlous state it was in before this misguided and counter-productive operation.
As for the timescale for both of the above:
The bulk of opposition forces will likely be forced out of the Kursk region within the next three to five days.
A mopping up operation to clear any isolated opposition fighters will most likely take a few days longer.
WHY IS RUSSIA RELUCTANT TO DECLARE WAR ON THE KIEV REGIME?
The Kiev regime and those in the West who sponsor, aid and abet it are now pushing Russia to the limit. Sooner rather than later that limit is likely to be reached. Then the REAL fireworks start.
Why is it that Russia hasn't declared war on the Ukrainian regime? I would have thought that the latest murderous incursion by the Ukrainian army into Russian territory would have resulted in this and that this act of war by it presented the most appropriate moment to date to do it.
There are only a very few reasons why this is not occurring as far as I can see.
1. RF needs a head of state in Ukraine to sign the requisite documents when the inevitable capitulation arrives and also sufficient remaining figures in authority to organise as smooth a handover to their replacements via fresh elections.
2. RF wants to avoid the rest of the world perceiving it in a negative light, i.e. as a bully waging all-out war on a weaker nation. Of course Russia is already seen in a negative light by most western powers and their supporters but RF naturally wants to ensure both its old and new found allies stay onside, at least economically.
But, as I see it, only hitting the Kiev regime hard is going to bring this thing to its end any time soon. Presently it looks like Zelensky and those serving him will keep this going well into next year as long as the Ukrainian people don't continue to rise up and muster even larger forces to bring him down. And of course as long as the Ukrainian army has no catastrophic collapse resulting in an overwhelming surge forward by Russian army.
Up until quite recently and certainly in the initial stages of the special military operation the RF was not ready for full scale war. The goal was limited to getting Zelensky to fulfill Ukraine’s obligations within the UN-ratified Minsk Accords. A minimal expeditionary force was used in those initial stages in an effort to intimidate the regime into fulfilling its promises. This soon proved to be much more difficult than the Kremlin believed at the outset. Then came the Istanbul negotiations which showed such great promise, rendered null and void through the intervention of the western powers via its emissary at the time, Boris Johnson.
Even despite the clear intent of Zelensky and his western sponsors to take things to their military limit the RF continued to up the ante only very gradually. This may have been largely due to the additional costs involved during a time when it was extremely important to get the Russian economy firmly back on its feet again. No matter what the reasons were, also possibly a reluctance to mobilise large sections of Russian male society, there was a general lack of manpower to wage a full scale war.
The above lack of sufficient manpower has now largely been resolved. At the last count there were some 1,500 Russian volunteering to join Russia’s military per day. This peaked in the months after the terrorist outrage in Moscow at the Crocus City Hall venue in March of this year but is likely still running at quite a high figure even now. As I understand it the Russian army now stands at something approaching 800,000 though most are not engaged in active combat duty.
It could well be that there will be a declaration of war at some point in the not too distant future and the president and military high command are merely awaiting specific signs of a breakdown in Ukrainian army morale and/or a particularly large breakthrough by the RUAF of Ukrainian defense lines. This would be in line with the general extremely patient approach displayed to date where the RUAF steadily grinds down the opposition to it in a carefully planned campaign of relentless attrition.
We will have to wait and see. No doubt the present incursion into Russia’s Kursk region will be steadily dealt with over the next week or two and a sanitary zone created across the Ukrainian border in the Sumy region to ensure the Ukrainian army is incapable of any similar incursion there in future. This is the plan at least as stated by Vladimir Putin in the last 24 hours. There will hopefully be even more strident action to coincide with the above, including the most devastating series of attacks seen to date hitting the most strategic targets across the width and breadth of Ukraine.
But no declaration of war. Not yet at least…
