VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Kiev is using controversial cluster bombs, supplied by the US, in an effort to break through Russian defensive lines, the outlet has reported.
Kiev has begun using US-made cluster artillery shells, the Washington Post reported on Thursday, citing unnamed Ukrainian officials familiar with the matter. Specifically, the US-provided munitions are being used in “a push to break up” Moscow’s defensive lines amid efforts to reinvigorate Kiev’s stalled counteroffensive, according to the WP.
The US recently opted to provide the controversial cluster munitions to Ukraine, despite them being banned in over 100 countries and widespread opposition from human rights groups. The so-called dual-purpose improved conventional munitions (DPICMs), namely in the form of 155mm artillery shells, arrived in Ukraine last week.
US President Joe Biden described the move as a stopgap measure, claiming that Washington and its allies were running short on regular munitions of the standard NATO calibre to prop up Kiev in the ongoing conflict with Moscow.
The move, however, has proven to be controversial even for Washington’s allies, with multiple countries, including the UK, Canada, and Spain, criticising the decision. The UN has opposed the move as well, expressing concerns of the potential use of such ordinance on civilians.
Cluster shells contain multiple smaller submunitions – when fired, they open up in the air and pelt a large area with said bomblets. The munitions exhibit higher dud rates, with unexploded submunitions posing a threat for years on. The US had to circumvent its own rules to make the delivery happen, as it had prohibited exports of weaponry with dud rates of more than 1%. The DPICMs delivered to Kiev, however, are said to have dud rates of at least 2.35%.
Washington insisted Kiev had promised to use the cluster weaponry responsibly, with Undersecretary of Defence for Policy Colin Kahl claiming it pledged not to use these munitions in “civilian-populated urban areas.”
The Ukrainian military, however, has a long account of indiscriminate use of controversial munitions, including cluster rockets with PFM ‘petal’ mines, claymore-style MON mines, artillery shells with flechettes and other weaponry, originating from its domestic stockpiles left from the Soviet times.
More than 100 nations agreed to ban cluster weaponry due to its tendency to leave behind unexploded submunitions, signing the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM) back in 2008. Neither Ukraine, nor the US – or Russia, however, are parties to the convention.
Moscow has condemned Washington’s decision to supply the controversial weaponry to Ukraine, promising to retaliate in kind and use “equivalent weapons.”
“It should be noted that Russia has cluster munitions, as they say, for all occasions. They are much more effective than American ones, their range is broader and more diverse,” Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu said shortly after the delivery was first announced.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

UKRAINE: THE UNTHINKABLE FOR THE WEST WILL OCCUR SOONER OR LATER
All the positive and wishful thinking up to now was never going to affect the inevitable outcome in Ukraine. None of the one-sided commentary and reporting has had any material effect on the battlefield. Russia, will achieve its goal of securing the Donbass region against further Ukrainian military attack. and in addition will ensure that Ukraine remains a neutral nation that will never be a member of NATO.
The goal of autonomy first sought by the people of the Donbass in the Spring of 2014 after the insurrection in their then capital city of Kiev will be exceeded due to fully secure sovereignty as a region of Russia becoming a reality.
This event will be a body blow to a western world that has been telling itself fairy stories about the ability of the Kiev regime, its military and assorted militia forces to win against a Russia absolutely determined to secure not only the Russian-speaking Donbass region but its own security in perpetuity. What will the reaction of the western world, specifically the western political elites, be regarding these facts?
At this point in time the West has thrown everything it could at Russia to no avail. The big financial and economic guns have been aimed and deployed against Russia and have all missed their target. Some of the shells have in fact ricocheted back causing financial and economic damage back home.
Russia began its 'special military operation' with all its financial and economic resources presenting a sound barrier to the western attacks known to come no matter what it did. These are the sentiments expressed by its president, Vladimir Putin. Better in for a pound than a penny, you might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb. Besides, the importance for Russia that circumstances changed from the ever-worsening situation regarding NATO and the ever-increasing belligerence by Kiev, had become painfully clear.
If every weapon in the western armoury has been spent or is known to be metaphorically out of commission, what then?
Just perhaps, some kind of reconciliation may be a possibility. A little realpolitik rather than the hysteria and breast-beating by western powers that we have seen up to now. What other choice is there for the West? To keep on fighting, keep on supplying the Kiev authorities and its dwindling military power with weaponry? Perhaps. But we now know the western armoury is all but depleted and all that’s left in there are the war crime weapon of cluster bombs. The incentive is clearly there for the USA and UK in particular to try to do as much damage to Russia as possible. But they are largely out of weapons to do this.
The goal of weakening Russia is certainly a goal these two close allies of the USA and UK have in common and there will be enthusiasm by the hawks within their hierarchies to keep the war going even when Russia is calling for negotiations to find some final peace settlement. This policy of constant aggression completely absent any diplomacy will risk being seen as a totally callous one quite uncaring regarding the massive number of Ukrainian lives being lost. This and the loss of billions to the U.S. UK and European taxpayers.
We all await these coming events with both both hope and trepidation. As ever with geopolitical events where national interests are involved it may be a mistake to believe that the usual and best human characteristics of compromise and agreement can prevail. When the stakes are this high the loss of human lives and the destruction of entire nations can seem totally irrelevant. This appears to be the attitude of most western nations currently. Will events on the battlefield change this brutally cynical perception?
