Ukrainian Military Base Lodging NATO-Led Training Hit by Explosion - Resistance Network.
An explosion occurred near a military base in the suburbs of the Ukrainian town of Chuguev where NATO instructors have been training Ukrainian troops, coordinator of the pro-Russian underground network Sergei Lebedev told Sputnik on Monday.
"At 9:30 p.m. [19:30 GMT] another explosion was heard near Chuguev in the direction of the A-1310 military base... After the blast, several emergency ambulances rushed to the site. We are still trying to gather more information. It is known that Western-style gun training has been conducted by NATO instructors, but it is not yet clear whether they have been involved in the incident or not," Lebedev said.
Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. President Vladimir Putin has said that the operation aims to "protect people subjected to genocide by the Kiev regime" for years. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that NATO member states are directly involved in the conflict not only by providing weapons to Ukraine, but also by training Ukrainian troops on their soil.
White House Confirms Ukraine Can Use ATACMS to Strike Deep Into Russia.
White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby confirmed on Monday that Ukraine is allowed to use US-made ATACMS ballistic missiles to fire at targets in the western Russian region of Kursk.
After the publication of the first reports that the Biden administration had quietly greenlit ATACMS strikes against Russia on November 17, officials in Washington spent days ducking the issue, with State Department spokesman Matthew Miller telling a news conference last Monday that he would "not...speak to or confirm any policy changes."
As recently as November 21, Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Signh said she "still [didn't] have anything to announce or confirm" on that score, promising to provide an update "if there is more to share."
"We're going to continue to supply Ukraine what it needs. But I'd really refer you to the Ukrainians to speak to their operations," Singh said.
At the same time, US officials anonymously told US media that ATACMS had indeed been used against Russia.
The Russian military has been reporting for more than a week that its forces have been shooting down an array of ballistic and cruise missile threats, with the MoD reporting November 19 that the ATACMS had been used against a military target in Bryansk region, with Russian air defenses shooting down five of the missiles and damaging another.

Russia and Iran complete de-dollarization – central bank.
The two countries have completely shifted to trade in their national currencies, according to the Iranian government lender.
Russia and Iran have abandoned the use of the US dollar in bilateral trade, shifting to their national currencies, Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Governor Mohammad-Reza Farzin has stated, according to local media reports.
The CBI chief made the remarks at the 11th Conference on Modern Banking and Payment Systems in Tehran on Monday. He said the move was part of a plan to counter “unjust sanctions.”
“We have entered into a currency agreement with Russia and abandoned the dollar. Now we only trade in rubles and rials,” Farzin was quoted as saying by Fars News.
He also revealed that the two nations’ financial authorities have agreed on the exchange rate to be used for foreign trade transactions.
Iran and Russia, both subject to US sanctions, first announced plans to use their respective national currencies instead of the greenback in mutual trade in July 2022.

Last December, they finalized an agreement to trade in the ruble and the rial. As part of the arrangement, banks and entrepreneurs are allowed to use alternative financial and banking platforms, such as non-SWIFT money-messaging systems.
Farzin announced earlier this month that Moscow and Tehran had officially finalized the pairing of their national payment systems, which will allow travelers from the two countries to use their domestic debit cards for purchases in either Iran or Russia. Tehran could eventually start using Russia’s Mir payment system for settlements with other international partners, he said.
On Monday, the CBI chief praised the connection between Russia’s Mir and Iran’s Shetab banking systems as another achievement for developing banking interactions.
Moscow and Tehran have strengthened relations in the face of Western sanctions, boosting trade and financial cooperation.
The Kremlin said in October that bilateral trade volume grew by 12.4% in the first eight months of this year alone, after amounting to more than $4 billion in 2023.
According to Farzin, the Islamic Republic has also been making efforts to boost trade and cooperation within the BRICS economic bloc. In January, Iran officially joined the group – initially comprised of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa – along with Egypt, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Right-Wing Candidate Georgescu Leads in Romania Presidential Election: Why is the West Trembling?
Right-wing independent candidate Calin Georgescu has pulled off a shock victory in the first round of Romania's presidential election.
Little-known candidate Calin Georgescu, who was shown running at around 5% in pre-election polls, upended all predictions and is now set to face off against center-right contender Elena Lasconi in the second round on December 8.
What Are His Views?
On NATO:
A professed champion of national sovereignty, Georgescu has often criticized what he called his country’s “subservience” to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. In interviews and public appearances he, has questioned the benefits of Romania’s membership in NATO, arguing that the alliance will not protect any of its members should they be attacked.
He criticized the presence of an American missile defense facility at a NATO-controlled base in the village of Deveselu, calling Romania’s agreement to host it a “diplomatic shame.” He has also called NATO's ballistic missile defense shield in Romania a confrontational measure.
On Ukraine:
Georgescu has questioned military aid being pumped by Romania to Ukraine. The social media-savvy candidate recently launched a viral TikTok campaign calling for an end to supporting the Kiev regime that appeared to have struck a chord with voters. “Tonight, the Romanian people cried out for peace. And they shouted very loudly, extremely loudly”, Georgescu said after his win.
On Russia:
Georgescu has described Russian President Vladimir Putin as a genuinely great leader who loves his country in a 2020 interview. Romania’s best chance lay with "Russian wisdom," media reports cite him as saying in another interview.
On Moldova:
Georgescu started out as a member of the right-wing Alliance for the Unity of Romanians (AUR) party, which advocates for the integration of Moldova into Romania, but eventually broke with it to campaign as an independent.
Georgescu’s success feeds into the barometer of right-wing political successes across Europe amid dissatisfaction with Brussels’ policy and eroding public support for Ukraine.
Similar sentiments fueled Ukraine critic Peter Pellegrini’s win in the presidential election in Slovakia this summer, and the success of the right-wing Freedom Party (FPO) in Austria’s parliamentary elections.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.
