Senator Lindsey Graham revealed the true purpose of NATO's proxy war against Russia last year, stating that the US "cannot afford" to let Moscow win in Ukraine, a country that is "sitting on $10-12 trillion worth of critical minerals."
The West’s hopes of getting its hands on Ukraine’s stocks of natural resources are fast dwindling. Besides lithium (LINK) , the corrupt Kiev regime has lost control over reserves of coal, gas, oil, and rare earth metals worth a total of about $12 trillion.
Rare Earth Elements in Ukraine:
Lithium: Critical for batteries in electric vehicles and renewable energy storage.
Gallium: Vital for semiconductors and photovoltaic cells in solar panels.
Zirconium: Used in nuclear reactors, ceramics, and electronics.
Beryllium: Essential for aerospace, defense, and telecommunications.
Titanium: Used in aircraft construction, medical devices, and military applications.
Manganese: Necessary for steel production and batteries.
Scandium: Found in lightweight aluminum alloys, particularly for aerospace.
Key Deposits & Lost Control
Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR): Rich in beryllium, manganese, titanium, other rare metals. Ukraine was cut off from these resources when the DPR and LPR joined Russia in 2022 after status referendums.
Crimea: The peninsula holds deposits of iron ore, scandium, zirconium, gallium, and titanium. Crimea rejoined Russia after a referendum in March 2014.
Zaporozhye & Kherson Regions: Host deposits of lithium, titanium, beryllium, uranium, manganese and tantalum. Both regions joined Russia in 2022.

Coal/Gas/Oil
Coal: Essential for power generation and industrial processes like steelmaking, Ukraine has lost 80% of its reserves, including all high-grade anthracite, a key resource now under Russian control in the DPR and LPR.
Gas: Critical for powering industries and heating systems, 20% of Ukraine’s natural gas deposits are now controlled by Russia.
Oil: Used to generate energy as well as produce gasoline and diesel fuel, 11% of rich oil reserves (DPR, LPR) are now on Russian soil.
Foreign Players Still In The Game In Ukraine
Canada’s Black Iron Inc., engaged in iron ore mining at the Shymanovskoye deposit, is reportedly seeking a $1.1 billion investment agreement with Kiev.

Ukraine Losing Lithium Wealth: Major Blow to the West
Belarus to get Russian Oreshnik shortly – Lukashenko.
The intermediate-range ballistic missile system will be deployed in the country within days, the president has said.
Belarus expects the arrival of the Russian advanced intermediate-range ballistic missile system Oreshnik shortly, President Alexander Lukashenko has said, adding that it will be stationed not far from the two countries’ border.
Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, when Belarus is holding its presidential election, Lukashenko said that the weapon would be deployed “closer to Smolensk,” the Russian city located some 60km east from the Belarusian border. He didn’t rule out, however, that it could be placed somewhere else later.
“We will have the Oreshnik literally any day now. We have agreed with President Vladimir Putin that the next system will be delivered to Belarus even earlier than to Russia,” he said. When asked to corroborate later in the conference on the delivery timeline, he acknowledged that no exact dates have been agreed yet.
He went on to say the choice for the deployment location was based on the technical specifications of the Oreshnik. “It’s bad when your targets are very close. But even when they are very far away, they [missiles] can carry a smaller load,” he explained.
He recalled that while he initially said that Belarus wanted to host at least ten Oreshnik missile systems, he acknowledged that a transfer of this size would be extremely difficult for economic reasons, especially given that Russia also needs to deploy the Oreshnik. “One Oreshnik is enough to protect Belarus,” he added.

The Oreshnik missile, which can carry multiple warheads, including nuclear ones, made its battlefield debut in November, when it struck Ukraine’s Yuzhmash military industrial facility in the city of Dnepr.
Commenting on the attack, Putin said Oreshnik warheads travel at ten times the speed of sound and cannot be intercepted by any existing air defenses.
The weapon, which had previously been held in complete secrecy, was deployed in response to Ukrainian strikes deep inside Russia using foreign-made long-range weapons, a step Moscow had repeatedly strongly warned against. In late December, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the Oreshnik strike was also a response to the US deployment of mid-range rockets to Europe.
In 2023, Russia also stationed nuclear tactical weapons in Belarus after a request by Lukashenko, who voiced concerns about a similar arsenal being placed in several European NATO nations.

Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.
