A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Ukraine Loses Over 11,220 Soldiers, 87 Tanks in Russia’s Kursk Region - Defense Ministry.
The Ukrainian armed forces have lost over 11,220 soldiers and 87 tanks in battles with the Russian military since the beginning of the Ukrainian attack on the Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 510 servicepeople and 19 armored vehicles, including three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle and 15 armored combat vehicles, as well as two artillery pieces, an electronic warfare station and 13 vehicles, the ministry added.
Russia has also defeated the Ukrainian forces in the area of several regional settlements, including Apanasovka, Borki, Vishnevka and Vnezapnoe.

Lavrov Arrives in Saudi Capital to Take Part in Ministerial Meeting of Russia-GCC Dialogue.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on Sunday, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
In Riyadh, Lavrov is expected to attend a ministerial meeting of the Russia-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) dialogue and hold a number of bilateral meetings.
The previous meeting of this format was held in Moscow in July 2023.
The GCC includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

German chancellor wants to end Ukraine conflict ‘faster’.
The time has come for discussions about ending the Ukrainian conflict as soon as possible, Chancellor Olaf Scholz says.
A renewed effort to try and bring an end to the enduring conflict between Moscow and Kiev is needed, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said.
The leader made the remarks in a televised interview with broadcaster ZDF aired on Sunday. “I believe that now is the time to discuss how to arrive at peace from this state of war, indeed at a faster pace,” he stated.
Despite its initial reluctance to lavishly pour military aid into Ukraine like many other Western countries, Berlin has become one of the top backers of Kiev amid the conflict. Germany has supplied the Ukrainian military with assorted hardware, including Leopard 1 and 2 main battle tanks, as well as Marder infantry fighting vehicles.
The talk about reaching peace in Ukraine as soon as possible comes as Scholz continues to struggle with assorted domestic problems. According to a poll published by ZDF separately and later in the day, some 77% of Germans believe him to be a weak leader, while only 17% speak favorably about his leadership qualities.

The poll has apparently marked the worst approval ratings shown by Scholz during his tenure, with some 74% of respondents believing the Chancellor should not become the frontrunner for the Social Democratic party at all in the upcoming September 2025 federal election.
Scholz’s ruling coalition suffered painful setbacks during regional elections last week, showing poor performances in Thuringia and Saxony, in the former East Germany. The two major regions have seen the rise of the right-wing populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) and the recently-formed left-wing populist Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW).
Both parties, despite being on the polar sides of the spectrum, strongly oppose Germany’s enduring involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, mass immigration, and related economic hardships blamed on the Scholz government.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

WILL THE USA GIVE AUTHORIZATION TO KIEV REGIME TO HIT DEEP INSIDE RUSSIA?
If the USA/UK/EU hits major targets within the Russian Federation in aid of the Kiev regime, what will Russia's response be?
With Zelensky putting the onus on Russia to seek peace (after presumably being hit internally to achieve this) it is pretty clear that he and his western supporters wish to continue the war with this in mind. They see no percentage at all in seeking peace themselves. Clearly being able to hit targets some 350 to 850 km within Russia (the maximum range using current missile availability from the West) is vital to this goal.
With this being a fairly clear next step (once the U.S. political elite is on board) it is logical for Russia to seek to supply those who are engaging elements of the West such as the Houthis of Yemen with powerful weapons with which to counter this move. Subversion of western assets by sabotage groups would appear a natural response also. (As warned of by Russia in recent months.) This is most probably already happening in anticipation of the green light being eventually given by the USA for strikes up to 850 km within Russia by Scalp, Stormshadow, ATACAMS and JASSMs.
Of course it is common knowledge that the strikes above would essentially be western nation/NATO strikes upon Russia as the Ukrainians do not have the satellite/technical assets to do this. This knowledge, known by all and sundry at this point is undoubtedly the reason the Americans are extremely wary of allowing this, and of course, the inevitable Russian response. Hopefully Russia has organized enough weaponry in enough places to deliver an adequate response to those first hits on Russian territory outside the current allowed sphere.
To have this response capacity fully in place and ready to go at a moment’s notice is a no-brainer and it can be expected that this has indeed been done or is in the active process of preparation to achieve full readiness. If I had to guess I would say that the primary response would come from Russian military assets in Iran. This would in part explain why we have seen no obvious major attack from Iran after the Israeli/US killing of the Hamas chief in Tehran. Assisting the Yemenis would be my second area of major effect if the go-ahead was given to Kiev to strike deeper within Russia. I would expect that any remaining UK bases that have any anti-western groupings nearby would also be a favored area to initiate supply. Arming the Syrians, Cubans, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans and all other groupings/nations antipathetic to western aggression would also be an effective longer term response and something once again being prepared on a continual basis.
If the above is being done it is occurring extremely discreetly. I would have expected a plethora of articles to emerge based as usual only on suppositions at some point. Or, perhaps, some leak might emerge that reveals some actual movement of weaponry in one of the locations above.
Every time a western power has refused to send some weapon or give some authorization to the Kiev regime it has eventually rescinded this decision and sent that weapon or given its assent. This final provision of assent to strike deeper into the Russian Federation will come. As I see it, it is only a matter of time. The Russian response is being readied. Note the recent announcement that Russia’s nuclear protocols on the use of nuclear devices is currently being updated.
Apart from the arming of anti-western groups and nations the Kremlin is no doubt looking at its options in regard to a direct strike by Russia on US/UK/EU/NATO assets. A limited nuclear strike will however be the last possible choice for the Russians. The inevitable bad and damaging publicity this would cause will be something the Kremlin will wish to avoid if at all possible. However, major strikes on high value locations within Russia, especially targeting Moscow and St Petersburg would sorely tempt the Kremlin into making a devastating response. Provoking Russia into unleashing even a limited nuclear missile strike may be just what Ukraine and its western sponsors are hoping for. The stakes for them are that high with the West losing ever more influence and the Ukrainian regime quite clearly losing the war. It all now hangs in balance at this crucial point in human history… for all of us.
