VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Kiev does not have the resources to launch another counteroffensive anytime soon, officials in Berlin reportedly believe.
Germany has no more military hardware to offer Ukraine beyond what has already been pledged, even as Kiev remains hard-pressed by Russia on the front line, Bild reported on Saturday.
According to the outlet, the German Defense Ministry does not believe that Ukraine will be capable of launching “an offensive to liberate its own territory” in the near future.
The report also said, citing an internal document, that Berlin would no longer send “heavy weapons” to Ukraine, and that deliveries of this type of aid have been “completed.” The term applies to tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, self-propelled howitzers and similar hardware.
In addition, according to Bild, a supposedly new €1.4 billion ($1.53 billion) military aid package German Chancellor Olaf Scholz recently pledged in fact refers to commitments promised and paid for last year.

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has obtained neither the permission to use Western-made weapons to strike deep in Russia – including German Taurus missiles, which Berlin has not supplied – nor the promise of a speedy NATO accession process, the article said.
The last time Ukraine launched a full-scale counteroffensive to retake the territory it claims as its own was in early June 2023, with some of the fiercest fighting taking place in the southern sector of the front in Zaporozhye Region.
Although the fighting raged for much of the summer and fall, Ukrainian troops made little progress and suffered heavy casualties. Officials in Kiev blamed the lackluster performance on intel leaks and delays in weapons deliveries by the West, which they said allowed Russia to prepare formidable defenses.
In early August, Ukraine also launched an incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region. While its troops initially made some progress, their advance was soon halted, with fighting ongoing. At the same time, Russian forces have made notable gains in Donbass, liberating numerous settlements in recent weeks.
Since the escalation of the conflict in 2022, Germany has provided Ukraine with €5.2 billion ($5.7 billion) in military aid, including Leopard tanks and other heavy equipment. In August, German media reported that the government would stop new shipments to Kiev in a bid to reduce spending. Both Kiev and Berlin have denied the claim.
Moscow has repeatedly warned that deliveries of Western weapons to Ukraine only serve to prolong the fighting and increase the risk of a direct confrontation with NATO.

Russian Forces Liberate Levadnoye in Zaporozhye Region.
Russian forces from the Vostok Battlegroup eliminated up to 120 Ukrainian soldiers, destroyed an armored personnel carrier, four vehicles, and two artillery systems near Dobrovolye and Temirovka, according to Russia's Ministry of Defense.
Units of Battlegroup Vostok have liberated the settlement of Levadnoye in the Zaporozhye region, eliminating up to 120 soldiers, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"Units of the Vostok Battlegroup the village of Levadnoye in the Zaporozhye region and secured more advantageous positions," the report said.
Levadnoye is located in the Pologovsky district of the Zaporozhye region, about 10-12 kilometers west of the Vremyevsky salient on the border of Zaporozhye and the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). While the village is not of strategic significance, it will allow the Russian army to expand its control on the eastern flank of the Zaporozhye front.
In addition, Vostok fighters inflicted losses on Ukrainian personnel and equipment from the 72nd Mechanized Brigade, the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade, and the 110th Territorial Defense Brigade in the areas of Dobrovolye in the DPR and Temirovka in the Zaporozhye region.
Ukrainian losses over the past day amounted to:
around 120 soldiers killed and wounded;
one armored personnel carrier;
four vehicles;
a Bogdana self-propelled howitzer and a French Caesar artillery system.

Other Developments:
Battlegroup Tsentr repelled nine Ukrainian counterattacks, inflicting losses of up to 465 soldiers and a Kirpi armored vehicle. The group also targeted Ukrainian forces from various brigades in multiple locations, including Rodinskoye, Kurakhovka, and Mirolyubovka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
Battlegroup Sever struck Ukrainian positions near Volchansk and Liptsy in the Kharkov region, destroying an ammunition depot. Ukrainian losses totaled up to 45 soldiers, a combat armored vehicle, and two vehicles.
Battlegroup Yug advanced deeper into Ukrainian defenses, repelling three counterattacks and causing losses of up to 620 Ukrainian soldiers. They destroyed several pieces of equipment, including US-made M777 howitzers and M119 guns, along with three ammunition depots.
Battlegroup Zapad inflicted losses on seven Ukrainian brigades and repelled two counterattacks in the Kharkov region, with Ukrainian losses reaching up to 490 soldiers. They also destroyed two armored vehicles, including a US-made M113, and several pieces of artillery.
Battlegroup Dnepr saw Ukrainian forces lose up to 25 soldiers, four vehicles, and an ammunition depot during engagements with Russian forces near Stepnoye in Zaporozhye and Dneprovskoye in the Kherson region.

Slovak MEP Lubos Blaha visited Moscow over the weekend to thank Russia for liberating his country from fascism in World War II and to apologize for the “growing Russophobia” in the EU and the US.
Blaha, a member of Prime Minister Robert Fico’s Social Democratic SMER-SD party, published a video of himself visiting Red Square and laying flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin wall and at the monument to Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov.
“I came… as a friend of Russia because I can no longer look at the growing Russophobia in the West,” Blaha said in a video published on Telegram. The Russian people have made “incredible sacrifices” to liberate Slovakia, he added.
Blaha said he wanted to apologize for the “belligerent, hateful, and virtually fascist resolutions adopted by the EU Parliament against Russia.” He insisted that Slovaks will “never be forced to hate the Russian people,” and that he rejects the Western weapons deliveries to Kiev, the sanctions on Moscow, and further escalations of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

“We do not want our children to die in a nuclear war. Slovaks want peace!” Blaha said, adding that Russians are seen as “friendly people” in Slovakia and it “will never be otherwise.” The MEP also called for dialogue with Moscow and an end to the “hatred of Russia.”

The MEP was also scheduled to deliver a lecture at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) attended by Slovak students.
Blaha was elected to the EU Parliament this summer. According to the Slovak Standard news outlet, he was the second most popular MEP candidate in the country. Before joining the EU Parliament, he was a member of the national parliament from 2012 and was vice chairman from 2023.
He is known for his sympathy toward Russia and criticism of the EU and US. The Standard describes him as the “most pro-Russian politician in Slovakia.” Blaha has attracted controversy online over his outspoken rhetoric on social media.
Earlier, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced plans to visit Moscow to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II. Fico said he would not let anyone forget that “freedom came from the East,” referring to the liberation of Slovakia from Nazi occupation by the Soviet Army in 1945. He also criticized the West for turning a blind eye to Ukrainian troops using Nazi symbols.

China Announces New Fiscal Measures as Economy Shows Resilience, Growth.
China will introduce living subsidies for citizens facing financial difficulties and will increase aid available to college students, the country’s finance minister reported this weekend.
China has announced a series of new fiscal measures as the country’s economy is set for stable and continued expansion, anchoring growth in global initiatives such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
“A series of fiscal policy measures that are set to be rolled out in the near future are expected to further boost confidence in the Chinese economy,” reported the Global Times newspaper Sunday.
“These measures have significantly lifted expectations for the world's second-largest economy,” the outlet claimed. China trails the United States in gross domestic product (GDP) but became the world’s largest economy as measured by purchasing power parity (PPP) in 2014.
The newspaper claimed the fiscal program would help address local government debt risks as well as stabilize the real estate market. A “crisis” in the Chinese real estate market has been reported in the Western press since 2020, with the collapse of developer Evergrande after a period of rapid expansion making headlines.
Chinese government officials refused to offer a bailout of the company for the sake of private investors, insisting the company must face the consequences of its massive debt.
“It needs to be emphasized that this upcoming policy is the most powerful measure introduced in recent years to tackle [public] debt issues,” said Finance Minister Lan Fo'an at a press conference in Beijing. “This is undoubtedly a timely policy that will greatly reduce the pressure on local efforts to tackle debt issues and free up more resources to develop the economy.”
China will also introduce living subsidies for citizens facing financial difficulties and will increase aid available to college students, Lan said.
“First and foremost, the policies will boost confidence,” analyst Xi Junyang told the Global Times. “As businesses gain confidence, they will expand operations, which will have a positive effect on the economy. They will also have a very important positive effect on the economy with increased fiscal investment resulting from the policy measures.”
China is on target for 5% GDP growth in 2024, the newspaper reported, placing it alongside Russia which is set to expand by almost 4%. Russia has consistently maintained higher growth than NATO adversaries imposing strict economic sanctions on the country, a fact frequently noted by President Vladimir Putin while campaigning ahead of his landslide reelection earlier this year.
The BRICS economic bloc, which is anchored by Russia and China, is set to enjoy faster economic expansion than the G7, it has been reported.

Brussels does not see Belgrade as a true partner, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said.
The EU has made increasingly stiff demands of Serbia and offered no progress toward membership in return, and Belgrade will “explore” the option of joining the non-Western group instead, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said.
Serbia applied to join the European Union in 2009 and has been a candidate for membership since 2012. During the intervening years, Brussels has upgraded its demand that Belgrade normalize relations with Kosovo into a de-facto recognition of the breakaway province’s independence, failed to protect the rights of ethnic Serbs living in Kosovo, and tied Serbia’s accession to the bloc with severing relations with Moscow and imposing sanctions on Russia.
“Just tell us: ‘we don’t want you’,” Vulin told the Berliner Zeitung in an interview published on Sunday. “Why do you keep setting us conditions that we cannot fulfil? We see the EU as a partner, but we are not entirely sure that the EU sees us as a partner.”
Vulin told the German newspaper that Russian President Vladimir Putin has never forced Serbia to choose between Brussels and Moscow, or threatened to cut relations if Belgrade begins EU accession talks.
“At the same time, EU negotiators are telling us: ‘if you do not break off relations with Russia, you will not join the EU’,” he complained. “So are we partners or not? Or do we not have the right to our own interests?”
Serbia will attend the BRICS summit in the Russian city of Kazan later this month, with an eye on joining the growing economic group.
“It would be irresponsible if we did not explore all possibilities, including BRICS membership,” Vulin said. “If BRICS is attractive to other countries, for example the Emirates or Saudi Arabia or Türkiye , why should it be any different for Serbia? There is no doubt that the BRICS has become a real alternative to the EU.”
Since the term was first coined in 2001, BRICS has grown from an acronym into an informal alliance that has overtaken the US-led G7 bloc in its share of global GDP, has its own development bank, and has expanded from four members in 2006 – Brazil, Russia, India, and China – to five including South Africa in 2011. This year, four more countries – Egypt, Iran, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates – officially became members of the group, with Saudi Arabia currently finalizing the accession process.
In September, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov confirmed that Türkiye had officially applied to join BRICS, becoming the first NATO state to do so.
Azerbaijan, Algeria, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, Palestine, DR Congo, Gabon, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Kuwait, Senegal, and Bolivia are among the other nations that have expressed their wish to join BRICS.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

THE GEOPOLITICAL & ECONOMIC FUNDAMENTALS OF OUR WORLD ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE
Largely unreported in the West, the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia will be discussing new ways for the world to work, ways allowing escape from domination by the USA and its allies.
This month, in Kazan, Russia and the other BRICS nations are gathering to agree on a path forward that will establish a new financial trading and money transfer system. When this system is up and operating the group will by its use escape the domination of the U.S. dollar. Currently, through the U.S. dollar western elites are able to blackmail nations into doing their bidding. The power of the U.S. dollar stems from its use as the default trading currency, accounting for the vast majority of trades worldwide. By threatening sanctions linked to the U.S. dollar western elites currently have a chokehold on much of the world. Now, via BRICS cooperation those nations can be set free.
Alongside the above development we will see outright victory for Russia in its conflict with the Ukrainian regime. Due to Russia having to fight virtually the entire collective west this victory will have enormous global implications. The victory against the Kiev regime and its backers across the West will not be merely in terms of its military prowess however. Russia has fought off and defeated the entire western economic and financial attack upon it emerging stronger with an economy more robust than ever. This while economies in Europe are in steep decline due to the very sanctions they sought to impose upon Russia which have backfired badly against them.
For all our lifetimes the western world with its domination globally has set the framework for the world generally. This domination is about to end. Already in decline due to massive debts, growing military impotency the ever-increasing shrinkage of their economic, political and strategic reach, the western elites have exhibited a parallel desperation and willingness to use ever-more panic-driven methods. These methods, employed to shore up the declining power and influence of the West are instead having the opposite effect.
The nations of the global majority, those outside the western orbit of direct influence, have for years been seeking an escape route that would allow them to emerge from the manipulative control of the West. With the economic rise of China after the reforms of Deng Xiaoping, and the economic resurrection of Russia brought about by Vladimir Putin a new pole of major economic influence rapidly emerged in the east. To this pole more and more nations have graduated over the years with the most major developments in this respect occurring over the previous few years. Recent years have seen both Iran and Saudi Arabia join BRICS. For many years these nations were sworn enemies. Now they cooperate on friendly terms in a relationship where economic and other areas are certain to flow from their BRICS membership.
The USA and its proxy powers in Europe along with those in the southern hemisphere such as Australia and New Zealand will soon no longer be able to rely on economic muscle to preserve their long-held domination. Their grip has been weakening for decades and now that grip will be seen to slacken to the point where it will be totally released. The impact of this change in the geopolitical fundamentals of our world cannot possibly be overestimated, it will be huge and massively transformative. Nothing will ever be quite the same again. Apart from transforming the economic fundamentals of our world we will see the geopolitical fundamentals underpinning the West’s grip over us wither and die. When the alternative arrangements now being set in place within BRICS and other Eurasian institutions come into full effect, there will be no more economic, military or political leeway for the kind of interference by the West we have seen in recent years. It will in effect find itself quarantined, unable to interfere, threaten, invade or cajole nations into doing its bidding.
With Russia’s imminent victory in Ukraine, having bested the collective power of the western world, along with its chairmanship this month in Kazan where fundamental financial and economic changes will be agreed to global norms, we can clearly recognise in which direction power is flowing. Russia and China, having prevailed against an ever-aggressive western political elite, will now build a global platform where peace not war is the norm, where, within an atmosphere of cooperation and tolerance toward diverse systems of governance bridges between nations will be built, not burned. Setbacks there will be to this project, mistakes will be made from time to time, but the goals sought, of freedom from western domination and a multipolar world where peace not war is the rule will certainly be attained. The idea of continuing with a world at war due to western elites demanding all others conform to the West’s needs, comply with its demands and are forced to recognise its permanent hegemony is too awful any longer to contemplate.
Therefore, despite the efforts of western political and media elites to downplay the extent of Russia’s victory against them and their Kiev clients and the importance of the BRICS summit in Kazan later this month, the flow of fundamental, historical changes into the future is now clearly unstoppable. Happily for the world and luckily for the elites of the USA and its proxy nations the powers that will now increasingly wrest power from them are benign and will not seek to replicate their own aggressively self-interested and jealous stance regarding power and spheres of influence. This will be a new world that will not reflect the polarised, colonialist past where one region of the world insists it is superior to all others and of such an exceptional nature that fully justify its demands, insisting on compliance of all others to its will. This kind of arrogance is about to disappear forever. This new reality remains a few years distant as of now, perhaps a decade or more of a rapidly dwindling western power remains, but that new world is very definitely on its way.
