“Ukraine. What is the truth...?
Why won’t western media tell both sides…?”
VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.
THE SINGLE WESTERN MSM REPORT ON THE LUGANSK ATROCITY, 3rd JUNE 2014
The video at the CNN link below is the crime scene sanitised by CNN, though played straight with honest reporting on the scene not playing things to Kiev’s tune.
(There was a time early in the war in the Donbass when CNN were not afraid to contradict the Ukrainian regime in Kiev.) Watch, because it's the first and last time you will see this.

A missile strike has destroyed a Ukrainian command-and-control center in Russia’s Kursk Region, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has claimed, releasing video of the strike. Ukrainian forces launched a large-scale incursion into the border region earlier this week.
In a statement on Saturday, the ministry said that an Iskander-M short-range ballistic missile system had carried out a strike on a previously reconnoitered command post of Ukraine’s 22nd Separate Mechanized Brigade not far from the border between the two nations.
“As a result, the command staff of the… brigade, 15 people in total, was eliminated,” the statement said, adding that “there will be no mercy.”
Drone footage released by the ministry shows what appears to be a cluster of several buildings in the middle of a heavily wooded area, with at least one Ukrainian armored vehicle also present in the area. One of the buildings is then hit by a powerful explosion, sending a plume of smoke into the air.

Iskander missiles can carry a payload of up to 700kg of explosives up to 500km and travel at hypersonic speeds. Russia has been using this weapon in recent weeks to strike staging areas used by Ukrainian forces, command and control centers, airfields, defense industrial facilities, and other military targets.

The incursion into Kursk Region is Kiev’s largest assault on Russian territory since the outbreak of the conflict. While the Russian Defense Ministry initially said that the Ukrainian spearhead consisted of around 1,000 servicemen and dozens of armored vehicles, including some provided by the West, subsequent media reports suggested that the total force was at least several times larger and that some elite Ukrainian units had been thrown into the thick of the fighting.
Moscow has denounced the raid as a provocation and has accused Kiev of targeting civilians. Ukrainian officials, meanwhile, have said that the purpose of the incursion is to instill fear in the Russian population and achieve a more advantageous position for eventual talks with Moscow.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian advance has been halted and that reserves had been redeployed to the region. It claims that Kiev has so far lost up to 1,100 troops and 140 armored vehicles in the area.

The Russian military has destroyed a Ukrainian tank with a kamikaze drone in Kursk Region, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said, releasing video of the strike.
In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said that a Ukrainian tank has been added to the “scrap metal register” on the Russian border, without saying when and where exactly it was destroyed. Officials said that the armor was taken out with a Lancet loitering munition.
The video shared by the ministry shows a tank that appears to be part of a Ukrainian battle group positioned on a road and firing at an unknown target. There is another armored vehicle nearby. Both units bear a triangle – a tactical sign associated with the Ukrainian force that attacked Kursk Region last week.
The tank is then hit by a drone from behind in its engine compartment and catches fire. Engulfed in flames, it later exploded, apparently from an ammunition detonation, after rolling a dozen or so meters down the road. The fate of the crew is unknown.

The ministry identified the tank as a T-80, a late Soviet-era design armed with a 125mm cannon, which is used by both Ukraine and Russia. In a separate post about the fighting in Kursk Region, it also reported that Russian forces had taken out five other Ukrainian armored vehicles and around 20 service members.

Ukraine launched a large-scale assault on Kursk Region on Tuesday in what is the largest cross-border incursion into a Russian border region since the start of the conflict. Moscow has accused its neighbor of provocations and conducting indiscriminate strikes targeting civilians. Ukrainian officials, meanwhile, have said that the purpose of the incursion was to instill fear in the Russian population and gain a better position for possible talks with Moscow.
While media reports suggested that Kiev’s forces had initially made some gains, the Russian military later said that the advance had been halted and that reinforcements had begun arriving in the region. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukraine has lost up to 1,120 troops and 140 armored vehicles since the start of the fighting in Kursk Region.

Russia’s Su-25 "Frogfoot" is a single-seat, single-engine attack jet designed to provide close air support to ground troops. It is equipped with a 30 mm cannon and can carry bombs, rockets, and missiles.
The Russian Defense Ministry has released footage showing Su-25 attack jets annihilating a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel, armored vehicles, and military equipment in the border area of the Kursk region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Attack aviation crews of Su-25 aircraft struck with unguided air missiles a cluster of manpower, armored and automotive military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the border area of the Kursk region. The strike was carried out with unguided air missiles on reconnaissance targets," the ministry said.
The Russian Defense Ministry added that after the use of air defense systems, the crews carried out an anti-missile maneuver, released heat traps, and returned to base.

Kursk is ‘decisive battle’ – Chechen commander.
The commander of Russia’s Akhmat Special Forces has predicated a collapse after Ukraine is defeated in the border region.
The fight in Russia’s Kursk Region is a “decisive battle” which will ultimately lead to Kiev’s collapse, Major-General Apty Alaudinov, the commander of the Akhmat Special Forces from Russia’s Chechen Republic, has claimed.
In a video posted on his Telegram channel on Saturday, Alaudinov, who was appointed deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces in April 2024, said it is “inconceivable” that Russia could be defeated on the battlefield.
The comments were made with regard to Ukraine’s incursion into the border region of Kursk, the largest assault on Russian territory since the outbreak of the conflict between the neighboring states in February 2022.
“I see no reason for you to doubt, to think that we could even lose this battle,” he said, while making an appeal for more people to join the army.

“I urge all of you to make a decision in this battle. The decisive battle,” he said, adding: “Because after this battle, Ukraine will fall,” as well as NATO, Europe, the US, and “all those supporting Ukraine.”
He noted that Americans, Poles, English, and French people have been seen fighting for Kiev. “You have no place… in our land, and we will do everything to keep you out,” he said, stressing that “Russia is more united than ever; we are a force that no one can stop.”
Since the beginning of the incursion on Tuesday, the Ukrainian military has lost nearly 1,120 soldiers and 140 armored vehicles, the Russian Defense Ministry stated, adding that the advance has been halted.
Moscow called the raid a provocation and accused Kiev of targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in the region.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE KURSK REGION OF RUSSIA?
Western mainstream news is full of the incursion by Ukraine into Russia's Kursk region. They are reporting as if this is a huge success by Kiev. But what is the reality behind this western bias?
A large force of Ukrainian special forces along with a significant number of mercenaries have made an incursion into the Kursk region of Russia which borders on the sumy region of Ukraine. Virtually all news regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is focusing on this event currently. So what is going on there now, what exactly did the Ukrainians achieve with this, why did Russia allow it to happen and what possible goals do the Ukrainians have by mounting this operation?
What might Kiev’s goals be for this operation?
Due to the conflict going badly for the regime across every area of the Russian campaign, especially in the area adjacent to Avdeevka Kiev needed:
a) a diversion for public relations purposes to convince western sponsors that they were still in the fight.
b) a way to lift sagging morale in the now increasingly poorly-trained and partly forced-conscript Ukrainian army that is b.ing steadily outgunned and out-maneuvered.
To target and capture the nuclear power plant at Kurskaya, the Kurskaya NPP.
To cause Russia to divert forces from the battlegrounds to the south where Russia is taking towns and villages and Ukrainian forces are being increasingly pushed back.
To foment discontent in Russia against Vladimir Putin, the Russian government and Russia’s military high command in the hope that Russian public sentiment would cause large protests to facilitate the overthrow of at least one, or all three.
How did the Russians come to let this happen?
Was there negligence in not responding to warnings that there was a significant Ukrainian military build up in the adjacent Sumy region? Were warnings received and not acted upon?
Were insufficient Russian forces stationed in the Kursk region for emergency situations such as this?
Did the Russian military remove the mines set near the border region with the intent to send Russian troops through in a proposed incursion into the Ukrainian Sumy region which allowed the Ukrainians far easier access to mount their incursion?
Was such an operation by the Ukrainians given extremely low credence due to its being perceived as having no strategic, operational or tactical benefit for the Ukrainian in terms of the ultimate outcome of the conflict and therefore robust defensive measures were not considered necessary?
What did the Ukrainians achieve with this operation in the initial stages?
Initially, small groups of Ukrainian forces moved speedily to various locations in raid operations. They covered a wide range of areas up to 15 km into Russian territory. The number of troops in each group was small. The entire initial force was approximately 1,000 strong with a reported 2,000 more in reserve. The campaign appeared very successful initially as the reporting appeared to reflect the raiding troops taking villages under their control. This was inaccurate as the number of Ukrainian troops involved in each raiding party was too small to achieve this.
After the initial attack with these limited raiding party forces the slower advance of military hardware including some engineering equipment began to progress into the region. These will, in the main, not have reached the furthest areas reached by the fast-moving raiding parties.
A public relations coup was certainly achieved across the western world and to a more limited degree within the Russian Federation. Through appearing to take one village after another and what appeared to be a significant total number the objectives above of 1a and 1b were certainly achieved.
What is going on in the Kursk region of Russia now?
After the initial successes of the Ukrainians and associated mercenary forces Russia is now stabilizing the situation with the reinforcement of positions in each area where the opposition forces have arrived in force.
Despite opposing forces having spread a false alarm to Kursk region residents in the area beyond their current position to leave their homes due to danger and thus crowding some roads there, Russian defense forces continue to arrive in the as yet lightly occupied region.
Losses of the Ukrainians force are reportedly very high, amounting to around 1,000 troops/mercenaries, dead or wounded.
The way the battle for the Kursk region is going the trend can be very much characterized as a stabilization of the situation with Ukrainian forces stopped or slowed with resistance to them growing by the hour due to the arrival of Russian troops and armor and the work of Russian air power.
What is the likely outcome of this Ukrainian offensive and what time scale are we looking at?
The certain outcome will be the complete ejection of all opposition forces, whether Ukrainian army or mercenary groups from the Kursk region. This will be followed by a sanitary zone being created within the adjacent Ukrainian Sumy region by the Russian military. The Kiev regime will have lost in the ballpark of 2,000 troops most of whom will be their most highly trained special forces. This will leave the regime even weaker than the already parlous state it was in before this misguided and counter-productive operation.
As for the timescale for both of the above:
The bulk of opposition forces will likely be forced out of the Kursk region within the next three to five days.
A mopping up operation to clear any isolated opposition fighters will most likely take a few days longer.
