A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.

Kiev’s forces have also lost hundreds of pieces of equipment, including Western-supplied arms, to Russian attacks, ministry says.
Kiev’s losses of military personnel have surpassed 8,000 over the past week amid Moscow’s continued offensive in Donbass, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a series of Telegram posts on Saturday. The nation’s military seized two settlements from Ukrainian forces and has gained ground across the region, it stated.
Moscow’s forces had taken control over the villages of Novomikhailovka in the central part of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and of Bogdanovka, near the key strategic town of Chasov Yar in the DPR’s north, the statements read. The troops also repelled some two dozen Ukrainian attacks in the region.
Intense fighting also broke out in the Avdeevka area of the DPR, where Russian forces were advancing towards the villages of Ocheretino and Netailovo, located further to the west of the strategic Donbass town taken by Moscow’s forces in February. The nation’s forces also pushed back 63 Ukrainian assaults in the area, according to the ministry.

Ukraine lost a total of 8,280 soldiers over the past seven days, mostly in the Donbass fighting, the data provided by the ministry suggests. Kiev’s troops also lost about a dozen tanks and several dozen armored fighting vehicles, along with hundreds of other pieces of military equipment. The list includes at least one US-made Paladin self-propelled 155mm howitzer, as well as almost 30 Western-supplied artillery systems, according to Moscow.
Russian forces also destroyed eight Ukrainian multiple rocket launchers, including the US-made HIMARS and the Czech-supplied RM-70 Vampire systems. The nation’s Air Force and Air Defense systems shot down Ukraine’s MiG-29 fighter jet and Su-25 close air support aircraft, along with more than 1,600 drones, the ministry said.

Earlier this week, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said that Moscow’s forces had seized the initiative in the Ukraine conflict and had “dispelled the myth of the superiority of Western weapons.”
Ukraine’s top military commander General Aleksandr Syrsky described the situation on the frontlines as “difficult” as he talked with some of Kiev’s Western backers via a video link on Friday. Things “have a tendency to get worse,” he admitted in a Telegram post reporting on the virtual meeting.
The developments come as the US adopted a $61-billion defense package bill on new aid for Kiev. Several media outlets reported that the first batches of aid could be dispatched to Kiev within days. The legislation had been stuck in Congress for months as Republican lawmakers blocked it in a drawn-out bid to squeeze concessions out of the Biden administration on US border-control policies.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky then told NBC that his nation had a “chance at victory” now as more Western weapons were coming its way. The Kremlin dismissed the news by saying that no new batches of weapons could change the dynamics on the frontlines.

Western assistance to Kiev prolongs the conflict with Russia and enriches corrupt officials, Florian Philippot has said.
A large part of Western aid to Kiev is being embezzled by Ukrainian officials, despite President Vladimir Zelensky’s assurances that it is being used in the fight against Russia, a top French politician has said.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Florian Philippot, leader of the Patriots (Les Patriotes) party and a long-time vocal critic of Western assistance to Ukraine, alleged that Zelensky was lying when he claimed that all US aid to his country “goes to the battlefield.”
“In reality a large part is diverted and goes into corruption!” Philippot wrote. He noted Kiev’s admission last month that it had not received €16 billion ($17.1 billion) in aid collected by Poland and the European Commission. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmigal claimed he had “no idea” what happened to the funds.
Philippot also pointed to a recent corruption scandal involving Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Nikolay Solsky, who is accused of illegally appropriating state land worth nearly €6.9 million ($7.4 million). “Yet another case of corruption in this country, which is one of the most corrupt on the planet!” the French politician remarked.

“Every euro sent to Ukraine prolongs the war and therefore causes unnecessary deaths, impoverishes us here, and has a strong chance of enriching the corrupt!” he added, calling for the conflict to be resolved as soon as possible.
Ukraine has been plagued by widespread graft for years, and a 2015 Guardian article described it as “the most corrupt nation in Europe.” More recently, it ranked 104 out of 180 countries in Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index.
The issue has taken center stage during the conflict with Russia, including in the Ukrainian military, which has been rocked by several graft scandals in recent months. This winter, Ukraine’s SBU, the successor to the Soviet-era KGB, announced that it had uncovered a major embezzlement scheme in which Ukrainian officials and private contractors stole around $40 million earmarked for shell procurement.
Elsewhere, the Pentagon’s inspector general admitted that Washington had failed to properly track more than $1 billion in weapons sent to Ukraine, although this did not stop US officials from claiming that they believed the assistance to have reached its intended destination.
Russia, meanwhile, has for months been warning about the spillover of foreign weapons sent to Ukraine, cautioning that they are ending up in the hands of organized crime outside of the country.

Investigation claims to have found that Palestinians have been killed in airstrikes on areas of Rafah IDF told public to go to.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have been bombing areas in southern Gaza that it had previously designated as safe zones, according to an NBC News investigation published on Friday.
The outlet examined seven deadly airstrikes between January and April filmed by its camera crews in the city of Rafah and the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone and which resulted in the deaths of Palestinian civilians.
“The crews compiled the GPS coordinates of each strike, all of which hit an area identified by the Israeli military as an evacuation zone in an online interactive map it published on Dec. 1,” NBC wrote, noting that this map has not been updated and remains accurate, according to the IDF.
The map in question had previously been criticized by international humanitarian organizations and by Palestinians, as being confusing and hard to read, with many pointing out that at most times it isn’t even accessible to civilians on the ground, due to regular cellphone and internet blackouts.
Human Rights Watch program director Sari Bashi has told NBC that the attacks highlighted in the outlet’s investigation are not isolated. “People are fleeing to roads that the government told them to use to places where the Israeli government told them to go. And when they go there, they get killed” Bashi Said.
In one example provided by NBC, the IDF dropped leaflets in Gaza on December 18, telling residents to go to Rafah’s Tal Al Sultan, Al Zuhur and Al Shaboura neighborhoods, designating them as safe. The outlet’s investigation found that all three locations were later hit by airstrikes, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians.

When asked by NBC to comment on the seven highlighted airstrikes, the IDF reportedly claimed in an email to the outlet that it was “not aware of any strike at the provided coordinates and times.”
Meanwhile, the Israeli military has repeatedly accused Hamas militants of using civilians as human shields and has vowed to “act against Hamas wherever it operates,” while also claiming that it would commit to international law and distinguish between terrorists and civilians.
The IDF launched its offensive in Gaza following the October 7 Hamas attack on Israeli territory, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 people and saw some 250 taken hostage.
Israel’s response has so far claimed the lives of over 34,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza health authorities.

Why United States Wants to Curb China's Economic Advance.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s recent visit to China has, among other things, highlighted Washington’s fondness of using threats and ultimatums as negotiating tactics.
Blinken’s primary goal was to clarify the United States’ stance on China and all countries who independently shape their respective policies towards Russia and regarding Asia’s development, according to Alexei Maslov, director of the Moscow State University’s Institute of Asian and African Studies.
The United States essentially wants China to stop its technological and financial assistance to Russia, as well as to decrease government support to Chinese companies that operate on Western markets, Maslov tells Sputnik, noting that these demands were delivered in the form of an ultimatum.
He points out that the US has already revealed how it might try to pressure China into doing Washington’s bidding.
These measures include tripling the existing tariffs on Chinese steel and aluminum exports; ramping up restrictions against Chinese banks, up to cutting off some of these banks from SWIFT; and landing sanctions against certain Chinese companies that would be prevented from exporting their products to the US.
China, however, firmly stated that it is going to decide for itself with whom to trade, Maslov remarks, noting that Beijing did offer to Washington to resolve their differences through negotiations.
“China has adopted a lot less harsh and extremist stance, offering to resolve matters through negotiations, as they usually do, by saying that there is enough room on Earth for the United States and for China and that there is no need to engage in serious quarrels,” he said. “This stance of China directly contradicts the offer made by the US. And while, in my opinion, there has been no deterioration of relations [between China and the United States] – furthermore, the expansion of trade was discussed – we have not seen any meaningful improvements either.”
The United States was content to watch China expand its trading policies, as long as China did not enter the stage of high tech development and Chinese technologies started to compete with the US and Western technologies in the market.
Thus, Maslov explains, the United States wants China to remain a “world factory” and to manufacture consumer products for Western countries and for ASEAN nations, whereas the high tech sphere must remain the domain of the United States and the Western world.
According to the scholar, this is not really a trade matter – this is about the ability to shape the future, and the United States wants to maintain a monopoly on that.
Maslov also observed that, despite the United States’ efforts to gain an advantage over China in microelectronics via the so-called CHIPS Act, which was meant to boost semiconductor development in the US, China is rapidly closing this gap, already being capable of producing five-nanometer chips and “microchips with artificial intelligence.”
“Essentially, what China was expected to achieve in five to seven years, China may achieve in three or four years. This is a critical level where the US may lose control of or at least the monopoly on a number of technologies,” he said. “Therefore, the CHIPS Act by itself turned out to be expensive and not very effective.”
Though the CHIPS Act did harm China’s interests, as well as the interests of many other countries, Maslov suggested that this is a “temporary issue” that is unlikely to benefit the United States in the long run.
Meanwhile, China has made considerable progress in areas such as genetic engineering and microelectronics while lagging behind other countries in others, as avionics.
What sets China apart from other Western powers is the fact that the implementation of any new technology is about 30% cheaper for Beijing than for them, which means that Chinese products would be cheaper than their Western analogues, Maslov explains.

Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

THE CRUSADER STATE IS PLAYING ALL ITS USUAL GAMES

Despite all its rhetoric about all the rogue states it projects onto the world there is in reality only one primary rogue state on the planet, that is the crusader state of the USA.
The Biden administration has finally decided upon the fate of Ukraine. It has recognised that Russia cannot now be stopped from taking all territory to the Dnieper river in Ukraine. The acknowledgement that this will occur has crossed the t’s and dotted the i’s on future policy for their proxies in Kiev. With Russia at the Dnieper the regime will then attack Russia using long-range missiles. This will be the semi-frozen conflict that suits Washington’s purposes. Russia will be required to use further revenues to fight with the regime on a continuing basis, those areas Russia has incorporated into the Russian Federation will continue to be disputed as part of Ukraine and Washington can now turn its attention toward China.
Blinken has just returned from China where the first part of the USA’s game plan for the immediate future was initiated. This comprised the gambit of a spurious warning to Beijing that if it didn’t stop supporting Russia in Ukraine there would be consequences. Of course there was no expectation that China would ever abandon Russia as an ally and the consequences are already prepared and were always intended to be set in motion with the justification that Beijing didn’t do what it was told.
The biggest lie Blinken told in Beijing was that China played a crucial part in assisting Russia in Ukraine, that Russia couldn’t do what it is doing there without China’s crucial assistance in supplying military equipment and parts. This lie was necessary to make China’s part in the conflict appear a major factor, something truly objectionable, objectionable enough for the ‘consequences’ lined up to be fully justifiable. The rhetoric will be along the lines of China being a fundamental threat to European democracy and quite possibly will include the resurrection of the old standby. ‘Evil Empire’.
Blinken made the claim that Russia could hardly do a thing in Ukraine without China’s help just as Russia finds that its military capacity is in fact greater than required and that an excess of weaponry and munitions will now be stockpiled. To assert that Russia needs China to continue fighting in Ukraine is blatant hogwash. A necessary hogwash however, required to give a patena of surface credibility to the financial and economic attacks that the USA has long planned for China. For China was always to be the main target for the crusader state. The original plan for dissolving and reconstitution the Russian state via conflict with Ukraine was meant to be accomplished over a very short time period as Russia disintegrated due to the financial and economic sanctions applied to it. This having failed a new game plan (detailed at the head of this commentary) has been agreed.
The game plan for Russia has very little likelihood of success however. Russia, having arrived at the Dnieper will continue to have overwhelming superiority of both offence and defence. Russia’s air defence systems will repel all but a very few Ukrainian missiles. It will also down any F16s or other aircraft the West supplies the Kiev regime. Russia’s own air force will have air superiority across all that is left of Ukraine while Russia’s satellites, having far less territory for their surveillance range will allow accurate targeting for missile systems brought up to the new battle lines by the Dnieper. Russia will still hold all the cards in terms of resources, manpower, munitions supply and weaponry. Rump Ukraine will not be any better off and in fact will be much easier to induce into agreeing to negotiations leading to a final settlement.
Sooner or later there will have to be elections in Ukraine. Either that or a permanent dictatorship will be installed with Zelensky as the 'Great Leader’ continuing his already draconian rule of repression and security apparatus intimidation. However, should elections take place there can be little doubt that the Ukrainian people, given the chance, will run Zelensky and his minions out of office with alacrity. The new president and government of Ukraine will then without doubt reflect the by now long determined and fervent wish for peace with Russia. Washington’s plans will then lie in ruins with no possible way forward in their scheme to achieve regime change in Russia and the dismantlement of the Russian state and break up of the nation into manageable parts.
Yet still the machinations of the American political elites will continue. Plan after plan will be agreed and initiated for there is clearly no retreating for the crusader state. Always another crusade will be required, another overseas enterprise that can feed its military industrial complex and in so doing guarantee its supply of contributions to their electoral campaign coffers. The deadly game plan for others will continue. Yet Russia will be out of their grasp and Ukraine also. The focus on China and their determination to make it the mother of all crusades will become their final, last gasp attempt to shore up their fast ending dominance over others. De-dollarization by the time this point is reached will have reached a peak and finally, sometime in the following years the crusaders will finally find they have undeniably lost every last one of their iniquitous crusades.
