“Ukraine. What is the truth...?
Why won’t western media tell both sides…?”
VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.
THE SINGLE WESTERN MSM REPORT ON THE LUGANSK ATROCITY, 3rd JUNE 2014
The video at the CNN link below is the crime scene sanitised by CNN, though played straight with honest reporting on the scene not playing things to Kiev’s tune.
(There was a time early in the war in the Donbass when CNN were not afraid to contradict the Ukrainian regime in Kiev.) Watch, because it's the first and last time you will see this.

US Citizen Who Helped Russian Military Plan Attacks on Ukraine Forces Gives First Press Conference.
Russian security forces have taken US citizen Daniel Martindale, who was helping Russian forces, out of territory under Ukraine’s control, security agencies told Sputnik.
US citizen Martindale, who helped Russian forces plan strikes against Ukrainian forces, is in Moscow and gives his first press conference at Rossiya Segodnya news agency.
“On October 27, 2024, Russian servicemen performing combat missions near the village of Bogoyavlenka took out of the combat zone and delivered to Donetsk a US citizen Daniel Martindale,” the agency's interlocutor said.
The American, who passed valuable information to the Russian military, has been in Ukraine since February 11, 2022, security agencies told Sputnik.
Martindale stated that he is in Moscow voluntarily and showed documents, adding that he initially came to Ukraine from Poland, where he was a missionary, and wanted to get to Donetsk.
He also added that his US passport helped him get through Kiev and Kramatorsk and thanked Russian security services for coordinating the operation of his evacuation and those soldiers who crossed the front lines to evacuate him.
The Kiev Authorities Should Be Tried Like German War Criminals
Martindale stated that the Kiev regime is responsible for kidnapping and should be completely disarmed, while noting that Kiev is responsible for the death, murder, torture, kidnapping of hundreds of thousands of people.
He further noted that the Kiev authorities should be tried like German war criminals and called for organizing a tribunal against them.
Martindale revealed that Washington is fighting in Ukraine against the whole world and its citizens and many Ukrainians are waiting for liberation by the Russian Army, but they have to hide it.
He further indicated that Ukrainians suffer from constant betrayal and have to fight for themselves and their safety, since the Kiev regime does not care about the Ukrainian population while Ukrainian soldiers are being sent to certain death
He also added that Ukrainians were worried about split in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
How Martindale Helped Russian Forces
The DPR defense headquarters reported in late October that the American played a key role in preparing the assault on the village of Bogoyavlenka in the Ugledar area. It was reported that the issue of granting him political asylum and his accession to Russian citizenship was being resolved.
“At the same time, having proactively established contact with Russian security forces, he for two years reported the coordinates of Ukrainian military facilities,” indicated the security forces. The information received from Martindale was repeatedly used to inflict fire damage on the infrastructure, equipment, personnel of the Ukrainian forces, the law enforcers emphasized.
Martindale said he had been in contact with the Russian side via Telegram messenger, after the Russian forces “threw” him a cell phone via a drone.
Martindale's Family in US
Martindale said he doesn’t want to return to the US and considers Washington his enemy.
He also stated that a couple of days ago he talked to his relatives and they support him, adding that "if anything does happen to me or my family in the near future, it's not because of any natural causes. It's because the American government probably is very interested at this point in putting pressure on me to reverse my position, to get me to come back to the United States and say that I did everything wrong."
"I think they [his family] are jealous that they didn't have the opportunity to do the same themselves," Martindale said in relation to his going to Donbass.
What Martindale Thinks of His Future
Martindale said he would like to go into farming and have a family in Russia.
“When the war is over and peace is restored, I would like to go back to farming. I would like to start a family in Russia. Perhaps to get involved in the production of farming household equipment for the Russian market, for the international market,” he said at a press conference in the press center of the Rossiya Segodnya media group.

No repeat of Minsk agreements – Moscow.
Russia will not sign any deal that freezes but does not end the Ukraine conflict, the country’s envoy to the UN has said.
Vassily Nebenzia, permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations speaks during the UN Security Council meeting on October 30, 2024.
Moscow will not repeat its past mistakes and agree to another conditional Minsk-type deal that would only serve to pause the Ukraine conflict, instead of resolving it once and for all, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, has insisted.
The Minsk agreements were struck by Russia and Ukraine in 2014 and 2015 between, having been mediated by the leaders of France and Germany. They were aimed at resolving tensions following the Western-backed Maidan coup that overthrew the legitimate government in Kiev.
Senior Ukrainian, German, and French officials have since openly admitted that they never intended to adhere to the agreements, but used them to buy time for Kiev to rearm.
Moscow has pointed to this deception as an indicator that neither Kiev nor its Western backers have any desire for peace in Ukraine, despite Russia remaining open to a diplomatic resolution of the crisis.
Speaking at a UN Security Council meeting on Thursday, Nebenzia warned that “there will be no repetition of the Minsk agreements scenario, no freezing of the front so that Zelensky’s regime can lick its wounds. Just as there will be no entry of Ukraine into NATO, in one way or another.”

Instead, the diplomat suggested that the conflict will be resolved permanently by Russia achieving all of the goals of its military operation, including the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.
He added that the territory held by Ukraine continues to shrink every day, and suggested that it is time for Zelensky’s foreign backers to finally consider the interests of the Ukrainian people, who want peace and good relations with Russia.
“So far, our Western colleagues are failing at this,” Nebenzia said.
The diplomat also criticized Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky for betraying the country and his election campaign promises by turning his country into a puppet of the US and its allies that has been used to wage a proxy war against Russia.
Nebenzia suggested that the reason that Ukraine is suffering defeats on the front line is because “the people simply stopped believing in the former actor.”

Ukraine Loses Over 5,390 Soldiers in Battle With Russian Forces in Past Week - MoD.
Russia's Battlegroup Yug has eliminated more than 5,390 Ukrainian servicepeople over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
"The enemy's losses amounted to over 5,390 servicepeople, two tanks, including a German-made Leopard tank, two US-made M113 armored personnel carriers made, eight other combat armored vehicles and 51 automobiles," the ministry said, adding that the southern group has repelled 10 counterattacks.
Russia’s Battlegroup Zapad repelled 35 counterattacks, and Kiev has lost over 3,620 soldiers, while Battlegroup Tsentr has repelled 72 counterattacks and eliminated up to 3,840 Ukrainian troops, the ministry said.
In battles with Battlegroup Sever, Kiev has lost over 2,810 soldiers, the ministry said, adding that a total of 54 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered to the Russian armed forces.
Additionally, the Russian forces have taken control of the village of Leonidovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), as well as the settlements of Novoukrainka and Shakhterskoye in the DPR.

Ukraine is unlikely to defeat Russia, the UK state broadcaster has said.

Ukraine’s inability to defeat Russia on the battlefield has fueled debate in the US about the point of sending more money to Kiev, according to British state broadcaster the BBC.
The conflict is “increasingly going Russia’s way” and the realization of Ukraine's stated territorial objectives is “looking less and less likely,” according to an article by the broadcaster's correspondent in the country.
In a report from the city of Zaporozhye and the nearby front line about opinions on the US presidential election,Ukrainian troops told the BBC's correspondent they hoped that whoever wins would continue militarily supporting Kiev’.
“We’ll fight with what we have, but everyone knows Ukraine can’t do it on its own,” said one soldier, identified only as Andrey.
Kiev’s 2023 offensive resulted in “little to no progress” and the country has since “switched to survival,” the broadcaster said. “It’s this lack of battlefield progress that has made the merits of supporting Ukrainian troops like [Andrey] increasingly up for debate across the Atlantic.”

Some of the civilians the BBC spoke with in Pokrovsk (also known as Krasnoarmeysk), a city in the Donetsk People’s Republic under Ukrainian control, said that Kiev made a mistake by not negotiating in the first months of the conflict.
According to the British outlet, Ukraine called off the talks after “evidence of alleged Russian war crimes.” Multiple officials in Kiev have admitted, however, that the talks were scuttled at the insistence of Boris Johnson, the British prime minister at the time, who told the Ukrainians the West was not willing to make peace with Russia.
Former US president and current Republican candidate, Donald Trump, has promised to quickly end the conflict by negotiating with Moscow. His running mate, Senator J.D. Vance, has opposed any more military aid to Ukraine.
Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ presidential nominee, has not articulated a specific policy on Ukraine. According to the BBC, she has “suggested” military aid would continue under her administration. Should Republicans get a majority in Congress, however, approving additional funds for Kiev would become increasingly difficult. So far, the US has approved over $180 billion in aid, of which around $64 billion has been for weapons, equipment, and ammunition.

Find Out Where Most Ukrainian Refugees Fled to Since February 2022.
Since February 2022, a significant number of Ukrainian citizens have sought refuge in Russia, much to the dismay of the Ukrainian government, as noted by Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, during a Security Council meeting.
"Zelensky and his clique are enraged that Ukrainians, after leaving for the West and encountering difficulties, humiliation, and language discrimination, are not only returning to Russia but are also moving in large numbers to the regions that have become part of our country as a result of referendums," Nebenzia stated on October 31.
He emphasized that between February 2022 and February 2023, a whopping 5.3 million Ukrainian refugees had arrived in Russia.
Where in Europe have Ukrainian refugees found sanctuary?
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), approximately 4,918,245 Ukrainian refugees had been recorded in European countries, excluding Russia and Belarus, as of October 15.
This figure includes Ukrainian refugees who have been granted refugee status, temporary asylum, temporary protection, or similar national protection statuses, as well as those documented in the host country under various forms of residence since February 24, 2022.

Trump promises to drive wedge between Russia and China.
The US Republican presidential candidate has said he would “un-unite” the two superpowers if re-elected.
Republican nominee Donald Trump has blamed US President Joe Biden for the deepening of Russia-China ties, and promised to drive a wedge between the two nuclear powers.
In an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson in front of a large crowd of supporters in Glendale, Arizona, Trump accused Biden of damaging America’s standing in the world.
“We’re a failing nation,” he said. “We are a nation in very serious decline.”
The former president went on to blame Biden for incentivizing closer cooperation between Moscow and Beijing.
“Look at what these stupid people have done. They’ve allowed Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and others to get together in a group,” Trump said. He added that one of his professors at the Wharton School of Finance told him that “the one thing you never want to happen is Russia and China uniting.”

“We united them because of the oil. Biden united them. It’s a shame,” he added, without elaborating. ”I'm going to have to un-unite them, and I think I can do that too.”
Trump expressed fears about the future of the US dollar in international trade. “We’re losing the dollar as the standard because of these people... if we lose the dollar as the standard, that’s like losing a war,” he said.
Russia and China are members of several regional groups, including BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Both countries described their relations as a strategic partnership and have rallied against American “unilateralism” on the world stage. Beijing has refused to join Western economic sanctions imposed on Russia over the Ukraine conflict.

The US has disconnected Russia’s central bank from dollar transactions as part of its its massive sanctions campaign against Moscow.
Russia and other BRICS members have moved to using their own national currencies in 65% of their trade with each other, Russian President Vladimir Putin said last month. Some 90% of Russia’s transactions with its largest trade partner, China, are being conducted in their national currencies, Putin said earlier this year.
At the BRICS summit in Russia’s Kazan last month, member states condemned “illegal” Western sanctions, stating that the restrictions undermine the global economy.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

WAR & HOW WE VIEW IT IN THE WEST
Ever wonder how our enemies see things? Is it even possible to stand in their shoes after so many decades of being told there's no in-between, only us V. GOOD guys here & those V. BAD guys over there?
In the affluent West we see things very differently from those living in certain parts of the rest of the world. That is not to say that we are all Little Lord Fontloroys, far from it. Most, if not all of us, have faced some, perhaps even many, hardships in life. Our general environment however, no matter how far you go back in living memory, can at least be said to be relatively forgiving of failure and for an increasing number over the years quite comfortable. This is of course especially true of the more elite spheres and what could be called the middle classes to which the majority of us now belong.
In a world where expectations have risen over the years within an ambiance of relatively high stability attitudes change. These attitudes are not those of the aristocrats of previous eras or of those who lived in grand houses who had certain high expectations and arguably little in common with those that worked for them and catered to their wishes. However, I believe a case can be made that our attitudes to how others far away conduct themselves have been molded in a somewhat similar direction.
The world of television and the way its fictional output has been constantly delivered to us has honed a certain subtle, growing focus on our ‘being the norm’, rather ‘exceptional’ and almost invariably ‘good’. If you think back through all your years since childhood, will you find a televisual or cinematic piece of fiction that didn’t contain two essential ingredients; bad elements and good elements and of course with the good elements (usually people of course) triumphing in the end. It was entirely predictable that the good guys would win and the bad guys would lose but the make believe regarding the possibility the bad guys were winning suspended your disbelief enough to keep you entertained and perhaps even in some degree of suspense.
Though the scenarios above are not entirely unknown elsewhere they are certainly predominant in the West. The idea of having a mix of good and bad in fictional characters in any media shown or published in the West is a very new innovation. Elsewhere there has generally been a more complex picture where tragedy and many less comfortable features than appear in western fiction feature and at times, strongly. The ancient Greeks were of course particularly interested in stories that had a tragic storyline. In more modern times Russian literature at its best portrayed life in terms that were broadly realistic and designed to be as such by their authors.
Fed on a constant diet of the unequivocally good and bad guys, the saintly heroes and utterly unredeemable villains, with the constant emotional dynamic created within us to see good done and bad defeated it can’t help but strongly influence our world view. In fact we can quite easily due to this long and deep history that was welcomed into our subconscious minds to be groomed by those who would manipulate us to their purposes into seeing the world and all within it in precisely these terms. To avoid seeing the world and its actors in this way takes real effort. Requiring no effort at all, how much easier is it to accept and go with what we are being told… that we are in the good guys, they are the bad guys? This requires almost no thought and no confusion at all.
Though we may not contemplate the idea at all, let alone realize its effects on us, our subconscious minds here in the West have had no resistance to this unintended conditioning. Depending on how old you are you will not harbor any suspicion that any of those TV or movie scripts were intended to condition you. It was what simply constituted the natural order of things. Who would want to read a book with an unhappy ending where the bad guys won out and escaped justice, or a film with a similar ending? It wouldn’t feel right at all. No one is going to reflect reality, real life with an unhappy ending and expect to make money. Such texts can be found only in the avant garde films or those made by Scandinavian directors such as Ingmar Bergman, that only relatively few enjoy.
When we compare the ratio of those who enjoy the regular reading or viewing experience where ultimately good always wins and bad always loses and those who enjoy an artistic/creative attempt to portray something more akin to often hard, nuanced and confusing reality one thing is clear. The majority of us prefer the simple to the complex, the clear as crystal goodness of one against the equally clear as crystal badness of the other. World War Two has also played its part in the transference from fiction to a particular reality. Hitler and the Nazis who acted in his name were so clearly on the evil side of the equation that our knowledge of that was can be quite easily be manipulated. How many times have the West’s enemies been compared to Hitler. Milosovitch, Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein, and now Putin?
The majority of us are suckers for a good story, whether in book form or on screen. The vast majority of us are not of the highbrow type who like to read ‘difficult’, ‘confusing’ stories where good and evil are rather difficult to discern at times. In general the majority of us hold sway in terms of the way media of all types approaches us, delivering to our expectations. For the politicians we are the group it is most important to influence. Therefore, the focus required to be addressed is not hard to fathom, there must be the good guys and there must be the bad guys, in reality just as in fiction. Zelensky becomes the good guy required now to suit western elite narratives and agendas. Putin and all those who respect, or work for him in any way, must be the bad.
Might it just possibly be that by believing so implicitly in the concepts of good and evil with all the fervor of our beings through media that we open ourselves to being rather easily manipulated and in fact duped into facilitating evil ourselves?
So it goes as Kurt Vonnegut III wrote 106 times throughout his book based around the carpet bombing of Dresden by the British Royal Airforce during World War Two, Slaughterhouse 5’.
‘And Lot's wife, of course, was told not to look back where all those people and their homes had been. But she did look back, and I love her for that, because it was so human. So she was turned into a pillar of salt.
So it goes.’
