Putin Warns West Against Involvement in Ukraine Conflict With Long-Range Missiles.
The Kiev regime has repeatedly attempted to strike key facilities in Russia, including targets in St. Petersburg and Moscow, and continues these attempts, said the Russian president.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has briefed his colleagues in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on the current situation in the special military operation in Ukraine and new Russian weapons. He stated that the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff are selecting targets in Ukraine, which may include decision-making centers in Kiev.
"The Kiev regime has repeatedly tried to strike important state facilities in Russia, including in St. Petersburg and Moscow. And these attempts continue," said Putin.
In response to the ongoing strikes on its territory, Russia hit military targets in Ukraine using a hundred missiles overnight.
"It was these weapon systems we used over the past two days in response to continued ATACMS missile strikes on Russian territory. A total of 100 systems, 100 missiles of different classes, which I just mentioned, and 466 strike drones were used. Last night, we launched a combined strike using 90 missiles of similar classes and 100 drones, hitting 17 targets—military sites, defense and industrial facilities, and their supporting systems," said Putin.
Putin added that those who follow the orders of the usurpers of power in Ukraine become accomplices in their crimes, referring to the fact that Zelensky's presidential mandate expired some months ago.

"They [the Ukrainian authorities] are completely illegitimate today, and from a purely legal point of view, they do not even have the right to give orders to the armed forces, as they are usurpers of power. By the way, those who execute these orders also become accomplices in crimes of this kind," Putin said.
The supply of even the most modern weapons to Ukraine will not change the situation on the battlefield, Putin stated. However, he warned that allowing Kiev to strike Russian territory with long-range missiles means direct involvement of the West in the conflict.

"As is known, Western officials announced in early November that they would permit the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike Russian territory with long-range precision weapons of Western manufacture. We have repeatedly pointed out that this will mean the direct involvement of these countries in the armed conflict, since the use of this weapon without the direct participation of NATO military personnel or specialists is simply impossible," Putin said at a session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Security Council.
Speaking about the strikes on Russian territory with ATACMS missiles, Putin stated that Russia will always respond.
"As I have said repeatedly, there will always be a response from our side," he said.

"Currently, the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Russian Army are selecting targets for strikes on Ukrainian territory. These could include military facilities, defense industry enterprises, or decision-making centers in Kiev. Especially since the Kiev regime has repeatedly tried to strike important state facilities in Russia, including in St. Petersburg and Moscow," the president added.
Putin also reminded that the Russian Kh-101 missile significantly exceeds European systems in range.
"The air-launched Storm Shadow missile, the French Scalp, and the German Taurus have a warhead of around 450-480 kilograms in TNT equivalent, with a range of 500-650 kilometers, with the Taurus reaching 650 kilometers. The Russian counterpart to these systems is the air-launched Kh-101 missile, which has a comparable warhead in terms of power, but significantly exceeds each of the European systems in range," he said.

Ukraine Talks Possible if West Accepts Putin's Peace Terms - Russian Deputy FM.
YEKATERINBURG, Russia (Sputnik) - Reaching settlement of the Ukraine crisis through negotiations is possible only if the US and Western countries realize there are no alternatives to Russian President Vladimir Putin's peace initiatives, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told Sputnik on Thursday.
Sources have told the Washington Post newspaper that US officials understand that Ukraine may be pushed to negotiations with Russia even with territorial issues on the table.
"If the Kiev regime's handlers, its puppeteers, recognize that there is no alternative to the solution outlined by President Putin at the meeting with the Foreign Ministry leadership on 14 June, adjusted for the developments ‘on the ground’ that have taken place since then, if they see that there is no alternative, then, of course, a negotiated solution is possible," Ryabkov said.

If the West continues along its current trajectories, there will be no basis for any talks, he added.
"The choice before them is quite simple, binary—either accept what Putin has proposed or stay where they are now, with the prospect of further deterioration of the situation for them," Ryabkov also said.
Arming Ukraine With Nukes Means Uncontrolable Escalation
Giving nuclear weapons to Kiev would be the biggest step towards the completely uncontrollable spread of the Ukraine conflict, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told Sputnik on Thursday.
Last week, the New York Times reported that some US and European officials were allegedly proposing the return of nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
"I do not know who these people are who say such things. I have repeatedly heard similar statements from responsible — or rather irresponsible — parties in Kiev. However, such a step would mean not only the collapse of the whole system of non-proliferation and arms control, which still stands despite the destructive US discourse, but also the biggest step towards further and completely uncontrolled spread of the conflict," Ryabkov said.
Moscow regularly sends Washington verbal and material warnings, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov added, commenting on the risk of expanding the geography of US ATACMS long-range missile attacks on Russia.
"All warning signals are being sent on a regular basis, both verbal and material, like, for example, the test launch of a medium-range missile dubbed Oreshnik," Ryabkov said.

Pro-EU protesters clashed with police in Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi, on Thursday evening, after the government suspended accession negotiations with the bloc.
Protesters gathered outside the parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue, denouncing the ruling Georgian Dream party.
The demonstration was backed by several opposition parties, as well Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili.
Police attempted to disperse the crowd with tear gas and a water cannon.
The Interior Ministry said that protesters violated the country’s assembly laws and threw “different objects” at the officers. Three policemen were injured, the ministry said in a statement.
The opposition has long been accusing the government of sabotaging the negotiations aimed at bringing Georgia into the EU, which have been going on since the mid-2000s. The tensions only increased after last month’s parliamentary election, which the opposition claimed was rigged by Georgian Dream.

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhadze announced on Thursday that Georgia would suspend accession talks with the EU until 2028. He said that his government does not renounce the ultimate goal of joining the EU, but argued that Georgia should not bow to “constant blackmail and manipulation.”
Zourabichvili denounced the government’s action as “an unconstitutional coup” and called on her supporters to “resist.”
“No one should dare to suppress today’s protest,” she said in a video address.
The Georgian-EU relations have continued to deteriorate throughout 2024 as Brussels criticized Georgia’s legislation aimed at curbing LGBTQ “propaganda” and labeling certain NGOs “foreign agents.”

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.
