VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014

A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.

If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.

The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.

The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Who Could Install Spy Equipment in Ukraine's Top Commander's Office?

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) found non-functioning spying devices in an office intended for the work of Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Gen. Valery Zaluzhny on Sunday.

The SBU reportedly found eavesdropping devices during a routine inspection of the premises of Gen. Zaluzhny and his apparatus at one of the deployment locations on December 17. The service launched a criminal probe in the wake of the discovery.

Commenting on the matter, Zaluzhny specified that the location where the devices were found has not been used for a long time. "This is the room that I was supposed to use today," the general told reporters on December 18.

"There could be several versions," Volodymyr Oleynyk, a Ukrainian politician and former MP of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, told Sputnik. "Firstly, everyone knows that Zaluzhny is a political competitor for [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky. Zaluzhny’s rating (…) is twice as high: somewhere around 75%, and Zelensky’s is 32%."

Per Oleynyk, those who installed the devices could be Zelensky’s people, who sought to find out what was happening in the general's immediate circle. There could likewise be interest in wiretapping conversations about issues besides military matters, he explained. Many military men have recently begun to speak out in support of Zaluzhny, the politician continued, referring in particular to former deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Maj. Gen. Serhiy Kryvonos. Kryvonos has recently been especially critical of Zelensky and his entourage.

It could similarly have been Russian special services interested in what is happening at the Ukrainian military premises, the politician continued.

"On the other hand, those could have been Zaluzhny’s people," Sputnik's interlocutor said. "Wiretapping [devices] were discovered in the [general's] office and in the assistants' room. It is clear that this could increase [Zaluzhny's] rating. (…) That could create an image of [Zaluzhny] as one who is pressured, persecuted."

According to Oleynyk, there are two intelligence agencies that could be behind the incident. One is the SBU which is subordinate to Zelensky; the other is the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, headed by Kyrylo Budanov.

The Ukrainian politician explained that Budanov is not subordinate to the chief of the General Staff but to the Ministry of Defense, that is, a political department headed by a civilian official. Presently, the ministry is chaired by Rustem Umerov. Oleynyk does not rule out that the Main Directorate of Intelligence could carry out political plots, especially given that previously it was involved in wiretapping anti-corruption agencies controlled by the US.

What's Behind the Timing?

Zaluzhny is being increasingly blamed by President Zelensky and his entourage for the failed counteroffensive, according to Oleynyk. Without naming Zaluzhny, Zelensky warned Ukrainian generals against interfering in the nation's politics. In late November, the Economist claimed that relations between Zelensky and Zaluzhny were "terrible."

Moreover, last month MP Maryana Bezuglaya from Zelensky's Servant of the People Party accused Zaluzhny of the unfolding mess at the front, as well as failing to offer a "strategic vision for 2024." Bezuglaya went even so far as to propose sacking the top commander, Oleynyk remarked.

Under these circumstances, the discovery of the eavesdropping equipment could play into the hands of Zaluzhny and make him an unfairly persecuted war hero in the eyes of Ukrainians. Oleynyk recalled that before the discovery of the spying devices, Zaluzhny's close aide Gennady Chastyakov was suspiciously killed by a grenade blast in early November in the wake of the publication of the general's article about the counteroffensive failure.

"It is possible that Zaluzhny has given a signal to his Western patrons that 'we have a problem here'," continued Oleynyk. "If they listen to him, Western intelligence services will certainly intervene. Why? Conversations with Americans, with NATO generals, and so on could have also been a target of [the alleged eavesdropping]. As a rule, such incidents receive special attention from the intelligence services of Western countries in order to prevent information leakage."

The Zelensky government is increasingly facing pressure because of the waning amount of Western financial and military support. The failed counteroffensive, as well as domestic economic problems he appears to have, cooled down the West's bellicose enthusiasm.

Pentagon Warns Congress US Will Run Out of Ukraine Aid Funding by December 30.

The United States will run out of Ukraine aid funding on December 30 after it completes a transfer of $1.07 billion to replenish US stocks of weapons sent to Ukraine, Pentagon Comptroller Michael McCloud said in a letter obtained by Sputnik on Monday.

"The Department will not execute these transfers until 15 days have passed following submission of this notification," McCloud said in the letter dated December 15.

"Once these funds are obligated, the Department will have exhausted the funding available to us for security assistance to Ukraine."

McCloud in the letter to Congress urged lawmakers to approve Biden's $106 billion supplemental package to address US national security concerns, which includes some $60 billion for Ukraine.

A Pentagon spokesperson told Sputnik that $4.4 billion of "restored'' presidential drawdown authority currently remains available for Ukraine - funding that remains as a sort of credit after the Pentagon realized it mistakenly did not send Ukraine the appropriate amount of military equipment that amounted to the value in several previous packages.

The United States will only be able to provide Ukraine with one more additional aid package before the end of the year absent approval for new funding, according to McCloud.

The letter comes as US President Joe Biden announced he was releasing a $200 million package to Ukraine amid the ongoing congressional blockade imposed by Republican lawmakers. Although insider reports suggest lawmakers are working toward a potential deal before year's end, it remains uncertain whether officials will be able to hammer out an agreement by deadline.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME

Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.

The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.

And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.

The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.

Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.

Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

THE WEST AND ITS ‘GOD-GIVEN’ RIGHT TO ATTACK, TORTURE, SLAUGHTER AND DESTROY

As we take a look at our world and try to make sense of it, one illogical factor springs out at us above all others. According to multiple political and news sources in one region of the world only their leaders are allowed to dictate how we should all live. In addition they decide who shall live and who shall die, which modes of governance are acceptable and which are not. These few dictate for the world and woe betide any others who may wish to decide a few things for themselves.

Perusing the battle lines of the last many decades we see one entity above all others asserting its right to decide these things. They are jealous leaders of their apparently jealous god. On their shoulders rests the fate of the world or so they appear to believe. They have ‘the right stuff’, the correct beliefs, the best form of governance and over a wide range of other issues they are superior and exceptional. If this strikes you as being somewhat fascistic, redolent with the views of a master race you would not be far wrong.

For a great many years the world has suffered from the notion that the political elites of the USA were, in combination, a kind of world police dispensing what they regarded as justice. These, by their own analysis, were ‘the good guys’, the ‘white hats’ and global ‘cavalry’ coming over the hill to save poor victims everywhere. That mass slaughter took place along with coups, assassinations and democratically destructive acts were order of the day for them did not faze them in the least.

As global adjudicators these people decided what was right and what was wrong. This, miraculously, always coincided with what was in their own ‘national interests’. A curious fact that, don’t you think? Imagine the temptation when you have so much power and the ability to manipulate your media at will to engage in acts that, if analysed competently, showed that the reasons given were not at all those that lay behind those acts. But how many spent their time analysing this activity? Very few.

Noam Chomsky has been one of the very few who has consistently held the feet of U.S. politicians to the fire regarding their permanent state of aggression toward others and their “justifications” for all their acts of subversion and ultra-violence. For decade after decade he pointed out in academic detail their every tactic and deceit. Of course a significant number of people read him and his reputation is unparalleled. However, no matter how many times the duplicity and mendacious nature of western political elites was pointed out, nothing ever seemed to change.

Now, with much of the world aghast and concerned regarding the mass slaughter being perpetrated upon the people of Gaza, a new and larger consensus has begun to gather. The USA and its allies are not being at all shy regarding their support for the genocidal attacks by the Israelis on those who have been long incarcerated in the concentration camp that is Gaza. Only now is there a sufficient groundswell of revulsion and opposition clearly visible that has the potential to fix the reputation of western elites as global terrorists and pariahs on a permanent basis.

This well-deserved reputation, long blurred in the West by the slavish devotion to their elites of western mainstream media, is now revealing itself behind the facade of respectability this media afforded these elites. They are now revealed in all their naked evil, their duplicitous and malign nature and all the vile outcomes that they have spawned for decade after decade are now clear for all to see. Like the rhyme concerning Humpty-Dumpty, it is unlikely that this veneer of respectability will be put together again, although many fallacious narratives will certainly be concocted in an effort to try.

Will the West get yet another facelift, will the newscasters of the western world manage to patch up the threadbare reputation that exists after Gaza and Ukraine? It is just possible. Westerners appear to be gullible suckers for these makeovers and the people creating them are all highly-experienced professionals in this art. Shiny CNN, MSNBC, BBC and others have the carefully crafted facades of respectability and daily assurance of probity to do it. But can a brand new silk purse be made from this sow’s ear yet again? For all our sakes and the sake of all who will die in some future tomorrow otherwise… hopefully not.
