A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico has been shot and wounded on Wednesday in the town of Handlova. Multiple shots were fired at the politician as he greeted the public after a government meeting.
Local media describe his condition as “serious” and “life threatening.” A post on Fico's Facebook page has warned that the “next few hours will be critical.”
The prime minister has been transported to a hospital in Banska Bystrica, a small city in the center of the country, because it would have taken too long to reach Bratislava, the statement added. An official from Fico’s Smer party has told the media that the prime minister was shot in the abdomen and is now undergoing surgery.
The shooting took place as Fico shook hands with members of the public outside a government building. The suspected gunman was detained at the scene, according to state news agency TASR.

The suspected gunman – believed to be a Slovakian of pension age, according to reports – was detained at the scene, the state news agency TASR has reported. Video footage purportedly shows officers pinning the attacker to the ground after the incident.
President Zuzana Caputova condemned the “brutal and reckless” attack on Fico, and wished the PM “a lot of strength at this critical moment.”
Fico took office in October 2023, after serving two stints as prime minister from 2006 to 2010 and from 2012 to 2018. Fico immediately halted the previous government’s policy of military aid to Ukraine and called for a negotiated settlement between Moscow and Kiev. His neutral stance on the conflict has seen him clash with Brussels, and with pro-Western figures within Slovakia such as Caputova.

Russian Forces Completely Liberate Village of Rabotino in Zaporozhye Region.
The Russian Forces have completely liberated Rabotino, a village in the Zaporozhye region lying at a strategic crossroads.
"Units of Battlegroup Dnepr have completely liberated the settlement of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region and defeated the personnel and equipment of the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 121st Territorial Defense Brigade, and Ukraine’s 23rd National Guard Brigade in the areas of the settlements of Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye region, Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk region, and Zolotaya Balka in the Kherson region," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to up to 25 servicemen, two vehicles, and also one US-made 155 mm M777 howitzer, the ministry added.
Rabotino is a village on the front line in the Zaporozhye region. The Kiev authorities presented it as the main achievement of the Ukrainian counteroffensive launched last summer. It was precisely to capture this village that Ukraine deployed brigades with Western training from the strategic reserve into battle.
Why Rabotino Liberation is Important?
Rabotino has symbolic significance for Volodymyr Zelensky, who presented it as the primary achievement of the counteroffensive.
In August 2023, to reclaim Rabotino, which had been liberated by Russia in March 2022, Kiev deployed the 82nd Air Assault Brigade to the front, marking the ultimate mobilization of a significant reserve unit within the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
On February 4, Zelensky visited the village of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region, where he conferred state awards upon military personnel.
A significant number of NATO armored vehicles, including US-made Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs), German-made Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 tanks, and UK-made Challenger 2 tanks, were destroyed in a "cauldron" created by Russian forces near Rabotino.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on February 29 that Russian assault units entered Rabotino and gained a foothold there.
How Does Liberation of Rabotino Present Strategic Advantages for Russia?
Rabotino is of utmost importance for both armed forces. It's located on the road leading to Tokmak, which serves as a gateway, branching into two directions: one leading to Berdyansk and the other to Melitopol.
The Kiev regime saw Melitopol as a main target as it sought to cut Russia's land corridor to Crimea and move towards Berdyansk and Chongar. For the Russians, the liberation of Rabotino opens the door for an advance towards the Dnepr banks and Zaporozhye region.

Putin explains why peace talks with Ukraine collapsed
Any discussions on the conflict must address global stability and focus on multilateral security guarantees, the Russian president says

Russia has never ruled out talks for a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict, but any discussions must take into account the interests of all parties involved, including Moscow, President Vladimir Putin has said.
In an interview with the Xinhua news agency on Wednesday ahead of his visit to China this week, Putin commended Beijing’s peace initiative for the Ukraine conflict, saying it showed “the genuine desire of our Chinese friends to help stabilize the situation” in the region.
The proposal, which was first released by Beijing last February, calls for a ceasefire, “respecting the sovereignty of all countries” and “abandoning the Cold War mentality.” It also stipulates that “the security of a region should not be achieved by strengthening or expanding military blocs.”

The Russian president praised Beijing for promoting the idea of “indivisible security,” noting that these principles could ensure that Russia’s concerns are not neglected while paving the way for a “long-term and sustainable peace.”
“Unfortunately, neither Ukraine nor its Western patrons support these initiatives,” Putin lamented, adding that they are not ready for a dialogue based on mutual consideration of each other’s interests which would address the underlying causes of the crisis.
“We are seeking a comprehensive, sustainable and just settlement of this conflict through peaceful means. We are open to a dialogue on Ukraine, but such negotiations must take into account the interests of all countries involved in the conflict, including Russia’s.”
Putin added that any dialogue “must also involve a substantive discussion on global stability and security guarantees for Russia’s opponents and, naturally, for Russia itself.”
The main problem here, he continued, is the reliability of those guarantees, given that some states “seek to substitute the world order based on international law with an order based on certain rules.” According to Putin, certain countries continue to talk about rules which “no one has ever seen… and which, apparently, tend to change depending on the current political situation.”

Putin also accused Western elites of “stubbornly working to ‘punish’ Russia, isolate and weaken it,” by providing Kiev with military and financial aid and enforcing “illegal” sanctions against Moscow. In addition, they “are turning a blind eye to the resurgence of Nazism and to Ukraine-sponsored terrorist attacks in our territory,” the president added.
The Russian leader recalled that Moscow engaged in talks with Kiev early in the conflict, which resulted in a draft peace agreement that provided security guarantees for Ukraine. However, after Russia withdrew its forces from Kiev, Ukraine broke off the engagement because it heeded Western advice to keep fighting “to achieve Russia’s strategic defeat,” Putin added.

The Russian president has previewed his China trip by championing “mutual respect” among nations.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has set the stage for his state visit to China by praising efforts by Moscow and Beijing to build a “just, multipolar world order.” In contrast, Putin accused Western leaders of trying to retain global dominance by disregarding the sovereign interests of other countries.
In an interview with Xinhua News Agency published on Tuesday, Putin said he and Chinese President Xi Jinping had achieved the strongest Russia-China relations in history by relying on “the principles of equality and trust,” as well as mutual respect for each sovereign nation’s interests. He contrasted that approach with Western attitudes toward other nations.
“Earth is the cradle of humanity, our common home, and we are all equal as its inhabitants,” Putin said. “I am convinced that this view is shared by most people on the planet.”
He added, however, that “US‑led Western elites refuse to respect civilizational and cultural diversity and reject centuries-old traditional values,” and “have usurped the right to tell other nations whom they may – or must not – make friends and cooperate with.”
“They seek to ensure their well‑being at the expense of other states, just like in the old days, and resort to neo-colonial methods to that end,” Putin said.
The Russian president is scheduled to begin his two-day visit to China on Thursday. Just as Xi chose Russia for his first foreign trip after being reelected last year, the Russian leader is heading to Beijing after winning his fifth term as president.

The leaders sat down for more than five hours of face-to-face talks during Xi’s trip to Moscow in March 2023. During the meeting, the Chinese president reiterated his “long-term commitment” to strengthening the ties and practical cooperation between the two states.
The Ukraine conflict is currently among the top issues on that agenda. Putin noted that from the outset of the crisis, China had worked to find a diplomatic solution. Neither Ukraine nor its Western backers were ready for an “an equal, honest and open dialogue based on mutual respect and consideration of each other’s interests,” he told Xinhua.
Even as the West tried to wreck the Russian economy with sanctions, trade between Russia and China surged to nearly $228 billion, more than doubling 2019’s volume. “Given global turbulence and economic issues in the West, such results prove yet again the strategic wisdom of our sovereign course and pursuit of national interests,” Putin said.
Beijing has consistently refused to blame Russia for the fighting in Ukraine, arguing that the expansion of NATO and Washington’s “Cold-War mentality” are the root causes of the confrontation.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

ALL-PERVADING BIAS CAUSED THE HATE-FUELLED ATTACK ON ROBERT FICO
When you are repeatedly told a one-sided story where a person, in this case Putin, is constantly demonized, then all those who fail to accept this framing can easily be seen as people to hate also.
We see today the ultimate result of consistently spreading a one-sided, hate-fuelled narrative about Russia and those who choose peace over war. The assassination attempt on Robert Fico, Prime Minister of Slovakia is the direct result of the hatred spread against him by media and opposition politicians alike.
The U.S. embassy in Bratislava without any doubt has its hands deep in this particularly ugly trough. As have figures such as George Soros who think they ought to form governments or bring them down rather than by anything approaching a truly democratic process.
No one who forms an opinion contrary to the demanded narrative of the elite western political consensus can feel safe to voice their views. Not in an environment where the general population of all western countries are fed a diet of anti-Russian hatred and 100% skewed narratives which paint those who wish to attain a balanced view as traitors.
Robert Fico has been subjected to a campaign of virulent hatred for many years now, a hatred which has massively intensified since he and his party were elected to govern Slovakia and a colleague was then elected to be Slovakia’s president. Massive demonstrations have been held on an almost daily basis flagrantly ignoring that both were elected democratically by the will of the Slovak people.
Wishing to see a renewed peace in Ukraine rather than a continuation of war was Robert Fico’s crime. This along with his willingness to look at both sides of the story in relation to the long running disputes between Russia and the Ukrainian authorities. In an environment where it is almost a crime to look deeply into the facts seeking to discern the true genesis of events in Ukraine’s Donbass region and Russia’s concerns over NATO expansion into Ukraine made Fico a marked man.
To hold the view that there are always two sides to every story means you may well risk your career and perhaps even your life itself. Western governments and their compliant media stenographers demand you accept and parrot their fixed, unquestionably views. If you do not submit you become a target. If you are a public figure then you risk character assassination if not a very real assassination attempt as Robert Fico has suffered today.
Is this the region of the world of free speech? Is the USA any more the land of the free? When you are forced to behave in a certain way, watch what you say and submit to those who are supposed to be YOUR public servants then we have surely moved far away from those noble concepts of freedom of speech and democracy that our leaders (now rulers) preach about.
Hopefully Robert Fico will survive his grievous injuries. After five hours and more surgeons continue to try to save his life. But free speech and anything approaching democracy is also on life support. And unlike Mr Fico it appears they are no longer capable of being saved in this sanctimoniously puritan western world of an increasingly dictatorial “democracy”.
KHARKOV IS THE BEGINNING OF THE END FOR THE KIEV REGIME
There will be no stopping Russia now. Front after front will open up against a faltering Ukrainian army delivering blow after blow to the terrorist regime that has so betrayed the Ukrainian people.
The Kharkov front will have been extremely well planned so the chances of its being anything but a total success for Russia are negligible.
Complete success is more or less assured due to many factors connected to the weakness of the Kiev regime's forces. These are in regard to a lack of both manpower and fire power. Another factor to take into account is that Ukrainian forces in the region have a high percentage of those who were forced into the Ukrainian army. They will, to a high degree, not wish to be there or to fight and will be inclined to either run away or attempt to surrender.
Russia may well open yet another front or two. One in the Sumy region is more or less certain. Another directed toward Odessa is on the cards. Meanwhile a surge forward in the areas left vulnerable through Ukrainian military assets being transferred to the Kharkov region can be expected.
Expect a massive thrust forward by Russia on multiple fronts including several new strategic areas. Russia has had up to 100,000 new troops in training for some 9 to 12 months now and these will be ready to perform diverse duties as required, whether on active duty, security support, logistical support or policing.
The breakthrough in the north now occurring will be much enhanced by the forward movement expected by Russian troops in the Sumy direction. Currently the softening up process of Ukrainian defences there is ongoing and once completed it appears inevitable that we will see a speedy Russian advance to take villages and towns in a similar manner to the Kharkov front.
It is to be expected that after the present Russian force attains certain goals in terms of taking particular towns then a second wave of Russian troops and logistical support will come forward to secure the areas taken. Then the Russian military will move further still taking ever more towns as they go. At later stages a third and fourth wave will enter.
Meanwhile Tony Blinken, Rishi Sunak and others such as Scholz of Germany are acting their parts attempting to put a brave and determined face on things. As their protestations of eternal support for Ukraine become ever more commonly heard from their lips you can be assured that they are voiced in a vain attempt to cover the awful reality on the battlefield. Sooner or later that semantic fig leaf will be blown away leaving them completely naked. Total humiliation and eating crow will be their lot with no semantic escape left open to them.
Russia is clearly winning hands down and there appear to be no possible future eventualities to seriously mitigate against this continuing. All the game changer weapons the West has sent the Ukrainian regime have quite clearly failed to change the course of the war. The western policy of hoping to increase the Kiev regime's chances at the inevitable negotiations table has completely failed. Just like the sanctions regime against Russia failed, just as the "game changer" weapons failed and all else the West tried, the western powers are now headed for a failure that is complete and terminal and from which there will be no recovery.
We are seeing the end result of much thought on the best way to break the Ukrainian army and the regime forcing the Ukrainian people into a fight with Russia they never wanted. Zelensky was overwhelmingly elected to make peace with Russia not further expand the war his predecessors began in the east in 2014.
NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg has recently issued a statement saying the West will not help a defeated Ukraine. This shows the contempt with which the western leaders hold the Ukrainians. His words are clearly meant as a threat to blackmail every Ukrainian to lay down their lives in a lost cause, to urge them to die fighting or be left to rot in a ruined Ukraine where all the words of eternal support for Ukraine from the West are shown to be barefaced lies.
With Ukraine's economy in ruins and no help coming from the West there will be a steady migration east to the prospering Russian lands of Novorossiya. This will be the final and lasting humiliation for the leaders of the collective West who have so badly abused the Ukrainian people for their own self-interested geopolitical ends.
In Kharkov and soon in Sumy and elsewhere the West will be delivered a blow from which it will never fully recover. All the propaganda, misinformation, fake news and wishful thinking, all the tame “experts” prattling about a Ukrainian victory and Russian defeat won’t help them then. They will stare into the eyes of defeat and be rendered helpless, humiliated and appropriate candidates for loathing they most certainly deserve. There has arguably never before been such a vile spectacle of monumental evil and despicable recklessness than that displayed by the western political and media elites over Russia and Ukraine.
Russia’s victory will be a decisive victory. The despicable Ukrainian regime that now squats in Kiev will be defeated absolutely and made to leave power in disgrace, opening the way for all the changes Russia has demanded. These will of course include Ukraine’s neutrality in perpetuity, its demilitarization and denazification and a guarantee of perpetual security for the Russian language and the Russian-speaking population of both rump Ukraine and the newly formed Russian region of Novorossiya to the east.
