A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

Ukraine’s British missiles rely on US data – Times.
Storm Shadow missiles will not hit their targets if London unilaterally allows Kiev to strike deep into Russia, sources have said.

Ukraine will not be able to effectively use British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles for long-range attacks on Russia without targeting data provided by the US, The Times has reported.
In an article on Saturday, the paper cited five former UK defense secretaries and ex-prime minister Boris Johnson, who argued that London should unilaterally allow Kiev to use its munitions to target internationally recognized Russia territory instead of waiting for approval from Washington. “There is no conceivable case for delay,” Johnson insisted.
Ukraine has been pushing for such permission for months, while Russia has warned that it would amount to direct participation of the West in the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.
The Times noted that “Britain could fire Storm Shadows without US approval or assistance, but they might be intercepted by Russian air defenses or be diverted off-course.”
A UK defense source told the outlet that Storm Shadows, which were jointly developed by UK and France, “probably would not survive in the contested, electronically jammed environment that the Russians have.”

“Russian electronic warfare has rendered GPS useless. They jam it. So it has to use another type of data set instead, which is American-owned,” the source stressed. According to The Times, such data is classified, but it is likely linked to American ground-mapping capabilities.
During talks between US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Washington on Friday, the White House signaled that it would be going into a “holding pattern” on the issue of strikes deep inside Russia until Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky comes to New York later this month and presents his “victory plan.” The development “surprised” the UK officials, who suggested that the Biden administration was moving towards authorizing the attacks based on “hints” from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the White House insiders told the paper.
Russian President Vladmir Putin reiterated on Thursday that Ukraine lacks the capability to use Western long-range systems on its own, as targeting for such systems requires intelligence from NATO satellites and firing solutions that can “only be entered by NATO military personnel.”
The authorization of such attacks “will mean that NATO countries – the US and European countries – are fighting against Russia,” Putin said. Russia will “make the appropriate decisions based on the threats facing us,” he added.

In May, when London first spoke of allowing Ukrainian strikes with Storm Shadow missiles deep inside Russia, Moscow warned that it could target “any British military facilities and equipment on the territory of Ukraine and beyond” in response.

The US crackdown on Russian media amounts to a declaration of war on free speech, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Sunday. She described the new sanctions against RT and other news outlets as “repressions unprecedented in scale.”
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced new sanctions against RT on Friday, accusing it of engaging in “covert influence activities” and “functioning as a de facto arm of Russian intelligence.” Earlier in September, Washington imposed sanctions on RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan and three other senior RT employees over alleged attempts to influence the 2024 US presidential election.
“The US has declared war on freedom of speech throughout the world, turning to open threats and blackmail against other states in an effort to set them against the domestic media and establish sole control over the global information space,” Zakharova said, promising that the punitive measures Washington was using to target Russian media would not go unanswered.
She added that accusations of attempts to influence the elections are a mere “witch-hunt” and “spy-o-mania” introduced to manipulate public opinion and bar its citizens from any information that is inconvenient for the state.
The head of the State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC), James Rubin, told reporters on Friday that the “broad scope and reach” of RT was one of the reasons many countries around the world did not support Ukraine. The GEC has funded propaganda games aimed at children and forced Twitter to censor pro-Russian content. Rubin admitted last year that he wanted to use the GEC to shut down Russian media outlets around the world.
“We are going to be talking… in Latin America, Africa and Asia… to try to show all of those countries that right now broadcast – with no restrictions or control – RT and allow [RT] free access to their countries,” Rubin said, arguing that its presence has “had a deleterious effect on the views of the rest of the world about a war that should be an open and shut case.”

Reacting to the new restrictions, Simonyan argued that Washington’s claims about RT collaborating with Russian intelligence are a “classic case of projection.”
“The idea that you can’t achieve results without being part of the intelligence service has exposed them for what they are,” she said.

Western nations have intensified efforts to limit RT’s reach in recent years through sweeping sanctions and media restrictions.
The Russian multimedia broadcaster RT has faced unprecedented scrutiny and restrictions from Western countries in recent years. The measures taken against the outlet have escalated significantly from 2022 through 2024.
The increasing efforts by Western nations to curtail RT’s influence and operational capacity reflect broader geopolitical tensions and fears about a changing media landscape.
2022: A year of tightening measures
The year 2022 marked a pivotal moment for RT as Western nations and entities began imposing stringent measures against the network. In February, major broadcasters Foxtel in Australia and SKY New Zealand ceased airing RT. By March, the wave of restrictions expanded significantly:
- META, which includes platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, restricted access to RT and Sputnik, the Russian state-funded news agency, across the European Union due to the conflict in Ukraine. Simultaneously, X (formerly Twitter) and other platforms finalized shadow bans, further reducing the visibility of RT’s content.

- The European Union implemented a comprehensive ban on RT and Sputnik, blocking them on satellites, websites, and social media. Financial transactions to and from Russia were also restricted.
- The UK media regulator Ofcom revoked RT’s broadcasting license, initiating 29 investigations into the channel’s coverage of Ukraine for alleged lack of impartiality.
- YouTube permanently removed RT and Sputnik accounts, while TikTok and Telegram also blocked RT accounts across the EU, US, and Canada.
- The EU’s ban was described as an exceptional and temporary measure by a European Commission representative.
- In the Netherlands, the internet providers blocked RT and Sputnik websites, while the National Council of Austria prohibited RT broadcasts to curb “fake news” about Ukraine.
- Société Générale, a French bank, blocked the salary accounts of RT France employees.
- The UK imposed sanctions on RT, closing its bureau and restricting financial operations under threat of criminal charges.
- In the US, satellite operators DirecTV/AT&T and Dish TV, as well as OTT operator ROKU, removed RT America from their lineups. Canada followed suit, with the CRTC revoking RT’s license and major cable providers like Rogers and Shaw Cable halting broadcasts.
- RT’s online presence was further diminished as Google blocked its sites from recommended services and app stores like Apple and Google removed the RT app.
In December, the European Union imposed sanctions on ANO “TV-Novosti,” RT’s parent organization, underscoring the continued pressure.
2023: Continued restrictions
The restrictive measures against RT persisted into 2023:
- In January, all RT France accounts were blocked in France by the Main Treasury Department.
- The EU banned RT Arabic and Sputnik Arabic broadcasts in February.
- In March, German authorities froze the accounts of RT DE Productions GmbH.
- By June, the EU had added RT Balkan to its list of banned broadcasters as part of a new sanctions package.

2024: Intensified sanctions and diplomatic campaigns
The pressure on RT reached new heights in 2024:
- The US imposed sanctions against RT, its founder Margarita Simonyan, and several top executives. The sanctions also targeted RIA Novosti, Sputnik, and Ruptly. The FBI labeled RT as a tool of Russian government propaganda.
- The US also sanctioned three entities and two individuals associated with RT, including for operations in Moldova. Secretary of State Antony Blinken criticized RT for undermining democracy and US elections.
- A coordinated diplomatic campaign by the UK and Canada intends to treat RT’s actions as intelligence operations, with a particular focus on its growing influence in the Global South.
- The FBI conducted a raid involving 20 agents on an RT employee’s residence in the USA, subjecting her to questioning about RT’s leadership and operations.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

IN UKRAINE THE WEST’S NEOCON WAR GRINDS ON
Neocons across the nations within the collective west see instability & war as the very best tool with which to initiate change. That the consequences are fatal for millions doesn't faze them a bit.
Even the Russian soldiers who have seen their comrades die or be grievously wounded without doubt have sympathy for the hapless men dragged forcibly off the streets of Ukraine and sent to fight them. They are cannon-fodder sent straight into a meat-grinder.
Imagine the scene. One minute you are on your way to work, thinking about having an early morning coffee at the office… when suddenly you are accosted by several burly men in army fatigues. You try to protest, telling them you have a wife and two kids at home who depend on you for support. But they have heard all this many times before and insist you must come with them. In vain you try to run away but they are well used to this situation and the hand that was loosely on your upper left arm now tightens while another of the small band grabs the left. Before you know it you are dragged bodily into a waiting van and within weeks you are in a trench on the front lines.
This is happening ever more frequently due to the fervor to join the fight against Russia waned and died over a year ago now. Now the energy of that fervor is channeled to escaping the country or even in seeking out Ukrainian mobilization vehicles after midnight and burning them to a blackened shell. Or perhaps you never leave your apartment any more, friends, your wife or your children bring you food and news of how things are on the street. Or, in the case of a few you take the embarrassing step of dressing up in female attire, sticking a wig or disguising hat on your head to venture out.
Zelensky is very far from popular in Ukraine now and these are some of the reasons why. The main reason of course is the deep and abiding torment and trauma he has inflicted upon Ukraine with his war. Casualties, dead and wounded, amount to something around 600,000. Amputations and blood transfusions along with major surgery of all kinds take up most of the health care system across Ukraine. No one believes in the war being waged now. It is common knowledge that this is the West’s war being waged by Ukrainians who are mere pawns in this “game”.
You will have heard the various American voices talk of how this is all going so well because they are fighting Russia but not losing a single U.S. serviceman. And, in recent days you may have come across Senator Lindsey Graham talk of Ukraine’s great mineral wealth and how that could be exploited. Pity the poor Ukrainians then who will not only see just about every family lose someone close to them but, after this is all over (and it must end sometime) be sold into work slavery by western companies such as Blackrock. Not exactly what was imagined when the West-supported Maidan insurrection and coup brought down the president and government of their country in 2014.
So, the war drags on. The western powers need it to. They don’t suffer, well, not the elites at least, their populations do, but not them. As they see it Russia is tied up in a war they need to keep going. Despite the fact that the Russian economy and Russia’s prospects have strengthened, they still fervently hope for Russia to take a downturn at some points and become weaker. With 30+ nations queuing to join Russia in the BRICS group is this likely however? With allies such as China, India, Saudi Arabia and Iran plus many others such as Vietnam, Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia and Thailand… what chances does the Neocon scheme to bring Russia down have in reality?
But, Neocons work in the field of fantasy, fantasizing that they can transform the world against its wishes, running roughshod over sovereignty, and the strength of feeling within countries of nationhood, independence, patriotism and national pride. Really? How easy do you think that will be? But do they care? They have no plan B and no reverse gear, the juggernaut they are on has no brakes and is on perpetual automatic pilot. Anything other than their reality is anathema to them. In their infinitely arrogant,massively egotistical, fixed positions, there is no earthly alternative. For them it doesn’t matter how long it takes. Their forever war MUST continue.
For those who are now running the western show, there is no turning back. From 9/11 on they have been in sole command and nothing on earth is going to unseat them or make them change their totally fixed opinions and plans one iota. This is why you can give up any hope you might have of their wars ending anytime soon. They will pursue them to the absolute bitter end. This too is why, if you wish to preserve even the remotest prospect of a peaceful, stable and predictably secure world for your children, you should support with everything you’ve got, Russia, China and the rise of the BRICS and through them, a multipolar world.
Otherwise, with good men and women doing nothing about the bad guys, the wars will grind on… forever.
