A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

How the China-brokered Saudi-Iran deal will change the Middle East.
Beijing has utilized a long-awaited opening to undermine the established American-dominated ‘order’ in the region.
Last week, Saudi Arabia and Iran announced a landmark deal, brokered by China in Beijing, to formally restore diplomatic relations. The agreement saw the two sectarian arch rivals in the Middle East agree to put aside their differences and to normalize ties.
It was the first ever deal of its kind overseen by China, framing itself as a peacemaker, and showing that its commitment to have good relations with every country in the region is not just based on rhetoric but actual substance. Some have described it as a sign of a “changing global order.”
To put it mildly, it is bad news for the United States and deals a massive blow to the near-unlimited geopolitical sway Washington has long held over the region via its strategic relationships with countries such as Saudi Arabia. Additionally, it effectively ruins a US led campaign to pressurize and isolate Iran and hinders American efforts to shape regional politics in Israel’s favor via the Abraham Accords. It is no surprise that the Western media is calling the Chinese-brokered deal a “challenge” to the international order, but what order is that? The ability of the US to dominate the Middle East? Perhaps brokering peace is a good thing.
US foreign policy in the Middle East
Since the decline of European colonial empires, the United States has been the sole military hegemon in the Middle East, using a network of partnerships from Israel to the Gulf States to sustain domination over the region and allowing the US to exploit its energy resources. In order to maintain this position, the US has long needed adversaries in order to perpetuate an ongoing security dilemma and force reliance on it as a security guarantor, which is also beneficial to the US military industrial complex. These policies have accumulated decades worth of wars, insurgencies and attempts at regime change.
Detractors to the US agenda have included revolutionary Arabist regimes, such as Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and Bashar Assad’s Syria, terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS, and of course the post-1979 Islamic Republic of Iran. It was after the US gave up on its botched attempt to topple Assad that policymakers in the Trump administration decided to focus on Tehran, tearing up US participation in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and imposing a crippling sanctions regime. In retaliation, Iran has waged a series of proxy conflicts against US partners in the region, most notably assisting the Houthis in Yemen against the Saudi-backed government, which has overseen the carpet-bombing of occupied regions.
China’s policy in the Middle East
Unlike the United States, China’s policy in the Middle East is non-interventionist, and assumes a neutral posture in regional conflicts, taking a position of respect for national sovereignty. However, this does not mean Beijing has no interests in the region. As it grows and develops domestically, its need for secure access to energy resources has increased, leading it on a diplomatic push to build good relations with every country in the region, and this has only accelerated as the US has pushed to isolate China from the West. Despite the intra-regional power struggle, in the past two years, Beijing announced strategic partnerships with both Iran and the Gulf States.
Multipolarity
Because China did not have the same military footprint or stakes in the Middle East as the US, many analysts were dismissive of Beijing’s ability to seriously act as a diplomatic mediator in the region. They believed that its attempts to build good ties with everyone were spread too thin. However, the Saudi-Iran deal shows this assumption was wrong. But how did it happen?
First, it should be noted that the Gulf States are not “value” allies to the US in the way European countries are, and not “morally obligated” to follow the American cause. Rather, they are self-interested monarchies with very different ideological and value systems (strict Wahhabi Islam) and have seen the US as a “patron” in guaranteeing their economic and security interests (oil for weapons). This is not a “marriage”, just business.
It should be understood that the world has changed in ways which now lead these states to perceive that unparalleled US dominance, which is its unequivocal foreign policy goal, is no longer in their best interests. They have found a new, bigger partner in Beijing who not only can buy more of their oil, but also doesn’t have a foreign policy doctrine premised on evangelizing its ideology or creating war throughout the region. As such, when the US delivered an ultimatum to the United Arab Emirates that they will block the export of F-35s if they don’t drop Huawei from their 5G networks, Abu Dhabi told Washington where to go.
While this shift was already underway by 2022, events last year exacerbated it further as the Gulf States suddenly found the US demanding that they take sides in a war – in Ukraine – which did not concern them, and worse still, demanding that they compromise their own economic interests to suit its sanctions agenda. The US fell out with OPEC, and Saudi Arabia publicly rebuffed its demands to increase oil production. Meanwhile, the events of that year also emboldened Iran, who was not being swayed by US pressure, while the return of Benjamin Netanyahu to power in Israel exacerbated Arab-Israeli tensions, damaging the US backed Abraham Accords, and hindering Saudi Arabia’s willingness to normalize with Israel.
These events have ultimately created the political space for a diplomatic reconciliation between Saudi Arabia and Iran, backed by China. It’s a massive blow to American interests as it is the first major Middle East deal brokered without Washington’s influence, and subsequently dilutes its policy of creating a perpetual war machine in order to legitimize its footprint in the region and its clout over Arab States. It also shows that the US campaign to try and isolate and crush Iran has failed, and that the United States no longer holds the power it once did to isolate countries. If the US is wise, it should use this development to rethink its approach to the Middle East, but if other policies are anything to go by, the Washington circle is likely to continue to think every problem is a nail, and more hammers are needed.

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

THE WEST, DESPITE ITSELF, IS USHERING IN A MULTIPOLAR WORLD
Things could not have gone in a better direction with a more positive outlook for our common global outlook if they had been planned that way.
The political elites of the western world have managed to create a fast-evolving situation that is stripping them of the last vestiges of what were already fast-fading powers.
By driving Russia into a corner and leaving no way out but the one she eventually took, the West opened a Pandora’s Box of indignities, humiliations and economic horrors for itself. And in so doing set in train an ever-faster movement toward a multipolar world.
The nations of the global south are observing the last weak hurrah of western aggression in respect of its largely now impotent reliance on threat and military means to get its way. The days when its threats meant something and delivered the required fear to get its way have been seen to dissipate steadily in recent years.
The debacle in Afghanistan and the continuing disasters in Libya, Iraq and Syria have been more than enough to prove to the nations of the global south that they must find new exemplars of good governance. The self-seeking belligerence of the West will no longer manage to maintain others in situations vulnerable to its commands.
Ukraine has been the final straw for nations that previously accepted the yoke of western dominance. More and more we see this yoke being thrown off by nations determining to become free to choose partners rather than predators.
In recent years some of these nations stood up to what has been until recently the global cop, the USA. Cuba has been one of the bravest of these. Venezuela also. These nations show no sign of returning to acceptance of the western yoke. It now lies abandoned, thrown off by a steadily growing number of proud, sovereign nations.
China has long presented a far more equitable and sanely-based policy in regard to partner nations. No threats. No onerous demands. Only win-win solutions where cooperation, investment and mutually beneficial resource-sharing occurs, quite irrespective of the mode of governance involved.
There is no sign whatsoever that China wishes to take the place of the global ogre, the USA. The era of domination from above is ending. The effectiveness of the previous modus operandi of the West, the arm-twisting, bribery and threat-based command structure is weakening now almost by the day.
In recent times another great nation of the global south, India has stepped away from being unaligned and has embraced a renewed and strengthened relationship with Russia. This relationship is destined to grow stronger and stronger as there is now no reason to be intimidated by a USA rapidly diminishing in its reach and influence.
Russia too continues to mirror the same attitudes as its Chinese partners in displaying tolerance for a diversity of political and ideological systems of governance, primarily interested in increasing the economic prosperity of all through trading relations exemplified by high levels of mutual respect and co-operation. All very much in contrast with the strong arm tactics of the West so despised, secretly or openly for so long now.
In Latin America more and more nations are rejecting the extremists who the USA prefer in power. A renewed ‘Pink Tide’ is on its way. In Europe too I predict we will see enormous political changes before too long. Macron in France is on shaky ground as are Scholz and his idiot colleagues. The geopolitical tectonic plates are shifting… and not in the West’s direction.
In addition to all of the above we have now have a quite remarkable number of nations desiring to become members of the BRICS group. If nothing else shows the way the western powers, the USA, UK and EU have been diminished in stature, reputation, power and influence this fact does.
And, in recent days we have seen China step in an broker a peace deal between what have been two deadly enemies in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia and Iran. The shock wave is rippling across the centres of power in the West from this game-changing accomplishment. It is yet one more sign of the rise in influence of the Chinese and the corresponding failing influence of the West.
The level of mindless incompetence across the western world then, has been immense. This combined with the constant self-admiring, self-interested ego full desire to remain in power no matter the consequences for the populations of their countries. Together these factors have produced a disaster now unfolding which cannot help but bring these cretinous politicians crashing down as their citizens rise to eliminate the source of their woes.
And oh the irony. Like a fly caught in a spider’s intricate web, every movement the western powers make only gets them stuck ever more completely within a web where all exit routes produce conditions worse than those encountered before. This because those exit routes would require an admission of failure and inevitable disaster for every political reputation involved. So the status quo of interminable and unavoidable disaster continues to see deterioration within the most fundamental structures that made up the previously powerful West.
The western powers are condemned to inflict all this on themselves. Quite fitting wouldn’t you say for those who lived by exploitation, belligerent threats and the ever-present promise of violence? It is all now coming back to hit them squarely in the face, further diminishing them and their reputation.

In addition to all of the above we have now have a quite remarkable number of nations desiring to become members of the BRICS group. If nothing else shows the way the western powers, the USA, UK and EU have been diminished in stature, reputation, power and influence this fact does.
And, in recent days we have seen China step in an broker a peace deal between what have been two deadly enemies in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia and Iran. The shock wave is rippling across the centres of power in the West from this game-changing accomplishment. It is yet one more sign of the rise in influence of the Chinese and the corresponding failing influence of the West.
The level of mindless incompetence across the western world then, has been immense. This combined with the constant self-admiring, self-interested ego full desire to remain in power no matter the consequences for the populations of their countries. Together these factors have produced a disaster now unfolding which cannot help but bring these cretinous politicians crashing down as their citizens rise to eliminate the source of their woes.
And oh the irony. Like a fly caught in a spider’s intricate web, every movement the western powers make only gets them stuck ever more completely within a web where all exit routes produce conditions worse than those encountered before. This because those exit routes would require an admission of failure and inevitable disaster for every political reputation involved. So the status quo of interminable and unavoidable disaster continues to see deterioration within the most fundamental structures that made up the previously powerful West.
The western powers are condemned to inflict all this on themselves. Quite fitting wouldn’t you say for those who lived by exploitation, belligerent threats and the ever-present promise of violence? It is all now coming back to hit them squarely in the face, further diminishing them and their reputation.
”Goodbye to all that”, just about sums up the attitude of the community of nations in the global south regarding the fading power of the West. And, well met to those nations now known to offer friendship without strings, an honest handshake, and a vision of a multipolar world that provides trustworthy partners along with a sustainable peace that cannot help but gladden every heart.
