“Ukraine. What is the truth...?
Why won’t western media tell both sides…?”

VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.
THE SINGLE WESTERN MSM REPORT ON THE LUGANSK ATROCITY, 3rd JUNE 2014
The video at the CNN link below is the crime scene sanitised by CNN, though played straight with honest reporting on the scene not playing things to Kiev’s tune.
(There was a time early in the war in the Donbass when CNN were not afraid to contradict the Ukrainian regime in Kiev.) Watch because it's the first and last time you will see this.
5 women and 3 men died, all civilians.

Ukraine LOST. The Endgame in Ukraine?
Article published by Russia Today (RT) - 20th July 2023:
Russia launches massive missile strikes on Ukraine.
Moscow has ramped up long-range strikes against the country in the aftermath of a Ukrainian attack on the Crimean Bridge.
Russia launched a massive cruise missile and suicide-drone barrage on targets in Ukraine overnight, the country’s Defense Ministry said on Wednesday. Military infrastructure, fuel depots, weapon stockpiles, and an airbase were among the targets identified by the Russian military in its daily briefing.
It said a group strike had been conducted using “high-precision sea- and air-launched weapons,” which struck “military industry facilities, fuel infrastructure, and ammunition depots” near the city of Odessa, as well as Ukraine’s Kanatovo air base in Kirovohrad Region. All the designated targets were successfully hit and the objectives of the strikes were achieved, it added.
Footage circulating online shows massive explosions in the vicinity of Odessa, including at its Black Sea ports. Ukrainian officials have claimed the strikes also inflicted damage on civilian infrastructure, with the city’s mayor, Gennadiy Trukhanov, saying the attack was the largest since the beginning of hostilities. He described last night in the city as “terrible.”
A grain terminal at a port near Odessa was damaged in the strikes, but it was not immediately clear what exactly struck the installation, particularly given the recent history of Ukraine’s own air-defence units inflicting damage on civilian infrastructure in the country, and even abroad.
The port town of Chernomorsk, located some 20km south of Odessa, experienced particularly heavy destruction overnight, according to Ukrainian Agriculture Minister Nikolay Solskiy. Some 60 tons of grain were destroyed there, while damage to the port will take around a year to repair, he claimed.
The ramped-up long-range attacks come after Russia withdrew from the so-called Black Sea grain deal, which was agreed in July 2022. The initiative, facilitated by the UN and Türkiye, lifted the naval blockade on Ukraine’s Black Sea ports, facilitating its grain exports. None of the promises made to Russia under the deal, such as lifting sanctions and enabling its grain and fertilizer exports, have ever been fulfilled.
The termination of the deal coincided with a new Ukrainian attack on the strategic Crimean Bridge. The blast killed a Russian civilian couple and seriously injured their 14-year-old daughter. The incident was described by top Russian officials as a “terrorist attack,” with President Vladimir Putin vowing to retaliate.

SUPPORTING SCOTT RITTER
I've been listening to Scott Ritter describe how things are for him and I suspect have been for him for quite some time now.
He has been doing a LOT of unpaid work with a great many interview requests coming in that he has been ready and willing to agree to. But the work where receives some pay for have suffered due to this, being left until the wee small hours of the night to complete work on.
Scott, I think you will agree, has been one of the most influential voices out there on Russia and Ukraine.
I was moved by Scott's words to take an annual subscription to his Substack account that he runs in coordination with his colleague on 'U.S. Tour of Duty', Jeff Norman. This is the main way that Scott recommends to help him with finances with which to upgrade his delivery of comment on Russia and Ukraine, via a better microphone etc. and perhaps the creation of a recording studio in his basement to create a more professional and impressive look. To invest in these things he would like to be sure that this has a viable financial future.
Would you also like to help by subscribing at one of the various levels to Scott's Substack account? I hope so. If so the link is here:
Below you'll find the edited part of the video where Scott talks of his commitments to get the facts out on events in Ukraine and of the finances that would come in handy to enhance their delivery:

VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

WESTERN POLITICAL ELITES & THE UKRAINIAN REGIME START BLAME GAME
As total defeat looms for the Ukrainian regime and its western sponsors both sides are increasingly blaming each other and seeking to avoid the inevitable humiliation that will inevitably come with the collapse of their campaigns against Russia.
The truth cannot be tolerated, therefore comforting delusion must take its place. In tandem with selective delusion many excuses will have been long-readied alongside a generous supply of responsibility-obscuring mud for ‘those over there’.
The entire panoply of western leadership are continuing to surround themselves in mirages of misplaced breast-beating over Ukraine rather than facing anything as onerous as facts.
Those facts are of course incredibly hard to face considering the assumption of western leaders that they are hugely righteous, amounting to the greatest collective global power in existence to whom the concept of defeat is entirely unknown. And that defeat therefore is entirely unthinkable.
Meanwhile, Ukraine goes from one defeat to another, talking all the while of an eventual victory. Its leaders too are blind to the stark reality facing them. The reality of imminent defeat.
Therefore, happily for them (for the time being) all is wished away by means of one total fantasy or another.
Unfortunately for them reality has a nasty habit of barging headlong into even the most beloved of fantasies sooner or later. And, if you look closely you will now see those fantasies beginning to leak at the seams, this being evidenced by signs of an inevitable blame game starting.
The first example concerns Joe Biden, who for no evident reason, recently brought up the fact that Zelensky had initially been unwilling to accept the fact that Russia was about to initiate a campaign in Ukraine. It was a purely gratuitous criticism about a situation more than three months earlier that had no current context to explain it, except an indication from Biden (and perhaps a warning to Zelensky) that if things carried on as they appeared wont to do mud-slinging would not be one-sided in the event of an eventual debacle.
Then there was the article in the New York Times which bemoaned the fact that the western powers knew much more about Russia’s military tactics and activities than about those of Ukraine, giving the distinct (and false) impression that they were to some degree in the dark due to Ukraine not providing adequate information. I predict we will hear more of this kind of talk in due course.
On the Ukrainian side we can also see the mud being gathered ready for slinging.
Neither Zelensky nor any of those in the front line of Ukraine’s leadership are going to capitulate. They are going to act in defiant fashion, forever calling for more assistance by way of heavy weaponry, never for a moment suggesting any desire to come to any agreement with Russia, always ready to fight to the last man. However, the western world is rapidly diminishing in its ability or willingness to supply what the Ukrainian leadership demands. Zelensky and his people cannot say any different, to capitulate for them means almost certain death, or at least perpetual ignominy. A much safer strategy is to keep breast-beating, keep posturing heroically, keep insisting on eventual victory and most important of all, keep demanding more weaponry from the West.
This latter point is vital as it provides the mud to sling later when the protective spin for them will be that they fought like devils for Ukraine but were let down by those promised so much but then failed to deliver.
There is no way Zelensky and co. can agree to talks with Russia now. This route was taken only a few weeks into Russia’s campaign. It was even bearing some fruit. Ukraine agreed to some important (though not enough) crucial aspects that provided some hope that continued talks might bring a meaningful breakthrough. It was the western leaders who apparently convinced Zelensky to break off these talks and row back on the progress made. Chief of those who convinced Zelensky of this was seemingly Boris Johnson but undoubtedly Joe Biden had a hand in it also. It seems Zelensky was told that if he abandoned talks with Russia he would be delivered overwhelming firepower with which to defeat Russia.
This defeat of Russia is now extremely obvious by its absence. Yet still both sides make a pretense of confidence on an ‘if only’ basis. If only the West provided the enormous number of weapons required and if only Ukraine provided the troops to operate them.
It is becoming ever more clear however that both of these ‘if only’ factors are also going to be obvious by their absence. The logistics of providing the arms, ammunition and training necessary by the West make the first part of the task unattainable and the decimation of Ukrainian troops via tactical incompetence by Ukraine make the second part unattainable also. Besides, Russia has the manufacturing base to supply and resupply both men and materiel on such an unlimited basis to defeat Ukraine no matter what is done now.
So we will no doubt see this theatre of the absurd continue whereby both the western powers and the Zelensky regime talk pie in the sky while that sky increasing falls down upon them. Neither appear willing to face reality. Too much is at stake for them personally if they do. Meanwhile Ukrainian troops die in their droves. The politicians are doing their level best to save their own necks while that abominable suffering drags ever on. No talks. No concessions. More deaths. More territory taken. But the heroic status of Zelensky retained till the end with a finger pointing at the deceivers and foot-draggers of the West who let his country down. In the USA and across the western world we will hear a different refrain however, one that talks of Ukrainian officials providing “inaccurate information”, officials who talked up victories that had no reality but that conjured up in their own minds.
