TRUMP: THE LAST U.S. ROBBER IN CHIEF
The bully ruled the neighborhood for years. He could extort money and steal whatever he wanted from the weaker boys. But over the years they grew bigger and stronger... and he grew old and weak.
Thankfully the USA has now reached the point where its national debt and the decline of the power of the dollar have reached a tipping point. It was never going to stop its modern day crusader status, interfering either overtly or covertly in everyone else’s business on anything approaching a voluntary basis. However, the time when it could economically rape the world with impunity is over. It is proceeding into more of a bankruptcy status and its elites are now belatedly aware of this fact. It will be bypassed on almost all fronts from here on out, particularly in the first instance by China, but later by Indonesia and India.
The global bully has lost its stolen money that it lived high on th hog on since the end of WWII. The times of plenty for the U.S. state are over. And for its citizens we can clearly see an era of descent and increasing bitterness, ongoing degradation and impoverishment coming. No more blood and no more ill-gotten gains will be lavished on bullying others into coughing up more resources for free, the free lunch era through regime change and all other acts of state terrorism is well and truly over for the USA. And the world as a whole will not mourn its passing one little bit.
All previous presidents since Ronald Reagan have been involved in some form of adventurism beyond U.S. borders. Presidency after presidency saw the USA interfere in places where it was not, or should not have been, its business. And business, resource extraction, wealth creation (for itself) and economic exploitation were ALWAYS the REAL REASONS for its interference. The cover stories were many, ‘The Monroe Doctrine’, ‘Fighting Communism’, ‘The Domino Theory’, ‘Supporting Freedom Fighters’, ‘Preemptive Self-Defence’, ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction’, ‘Spreading Freedom and Democracy’. The true reasons for the interference in sovereign nations by the USA is much less noble-sounding. They center wholly around ‘U.S. NATIONAL INTERESTS’.
Please list what are arguably the real reasons for interference in other states by the USA since the end of World War Two.

While official justifications focus on high-minded ideals, critics and “realist” historians argue that U.S. interventions are actually driven by economic dominance, strategic encirclement, and the preservation of global hierarchy.
1. Economic Dominance & Market Access
Open Door Policy: Ensuring U.S. corporations have “universal access” to foreign resources, markets, and labor without interference from local nationalist or protectionist policies.
Resource Control: Securing vital commodities, most notably fossil fuels in the Middle East, to maintain stability for the U.S.-led global economy.
Protection of Capital: Intervening to prevent the nationalization of industries owned by U.S. firms (e.g., the 1954 Guatemala coup to protect United Fruit Company interests).
2. Preventing the “Threat of a Good Example”
Suppression of Independent Development: Critics like Noam Chomsky argue the U.S. often destroys successful nationalist or socialist movements—even democratic ones—because they might serve as a “model” for other countries to seek independence from the U.S.-managed global system.
Targeting “Defiant” Regimes: Intervention often targets states that refuse to align with U.S. strategic or economic goals, regardless of whether they are actually dictatorial or democratic.
3. Strategic Encirclement & Geopolitical Rivalry
Global Primacy (Unipolarity): Maintaining the U.S. as the world’s sole “hyperpower” by preventing the rise of regional competitors.
Encirclement: Systematically surrounding rivals (formerly the USSR, now China and Russia) with “sentinel states” and military alliances to contain their influence and limit their access to oceans or trade routes.
Maintaining Credibility: Engaging in conflicts simply to prove that U.S. threats or “red lines” are credible to other potential adversaries.
4. Domestic Political & Industrial Incentives
Military-Industrial Complex: The “need” for private defense contractors to clear out old weapon surpluses and generate new contracts through active conflicts.
Internal Political Gain: Presidents may order interventions to look “tough” for domestic voters or to deflect from domestic political challenges.
5. Preserving Global Hierarchy
Maintaining the “Rule-Based Order”: Critics argue this phrase is often a euphemism for a system where the U.S. sets the rules and enforces them on others while remaining exempt from them (e.g., regarding the ICC or war crimes).
There is little that is good about Donald J. Trump. He is easily as brutally self-interested, aggressive, threatening, demanding and as interfering globally as any of his predecessors. But there is one thing he demonstrates by being too arrogant and essentially too dumb to manage it, and that is to pretend he’s doing otherwise. He says the quiet part out loud.
Trump appears too unsophisticated and semantically challenged to lie eloquently enough to utter the usual mantras about bringing ‘Freedom and’ ‘Democracy’ and all that guff. With him what you see is what you get. An entitled dictator laboring under out of control narcissism topped by a pea brain. He lies about almost everything else... but on interfering in other peoples’ countries he tends to say it like it is. You have oil? I want it. Give it to me. Now!
In what respect does Donald Trump say the quiet part out loud?
Foreign Policy and “Donroe Doctrine”
His approach to international relations has shifted from “quiet” diplomacy to overt admissions of self-interest:
Venezuelan Oil: Regarding the deployment of a massive naval armada near Venezuela in late 2025, Trump explicitly stated the military would remain until “all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets” were returned. Analysts noted this was “saying out loud” that the mission was about oil and regime change rather than counter-narcotics.
Self-Interest over Peace: In early 2026, he reportedly told Norway’s Prime Minister that he no longer felt an obligation to think purely of “peace” but rather what is “good and proper for the United States”.
Donald Trump KNOWS the USA will essentially be bankrupt within the next few years. He knows that the U.S. dollar is in decline and will soon lose most of its power as a weapon of economic state terrorism. He is doing what any robber does if, at the end of his life, he has frittered away every cent. He plans one more heist. And it will be the last. China, India, Indonesia and the rest are the rising stars who in short order are going to make the USA look like a backwater. U.S. infrastructure is decaying fast with no sight of future income to rebuild other than with more debt... and the international financiers you’ve relied on for so long will begin to decline to offer you good money after bad. National insolvency is looming and Trump knows it. He wants what’s yours and wants it now and he is willing to do whatever he has to to get it.
