DONALD TRUMP: THE POWER-MAD PRESIDENT
What does the niece of Donald Trump say of Trumpâs father? Mary Trump asserts that he âseemed to have no emotional needsâ and rejected emotional ties as a waste of time.
Jan 09, 2026
He canât get enough of it. Itâs an itch he MUST scratch. An obsession. Trump has a drive inside him that eats him up, an overwhelming desire for a degree of POWER and demand for respect that he can never attain. This is because he will never gain enough of either to satisfy the inner demon that eats away at him every second of every day he lives. The admiration love and respect his father never once gave him. This is what makes Trump deranged to the degree we can see and which is now getting worse by the day. His lust for power is now destroying himâĤ and before it does it may destroy many other lives first.
Donald Trump MUST have power over others. Dominated strictly and without affection by his emotionally distant father he grew up determined never to be in the power of others ever again. It became an addiction. But within that addiction is an never to be attained ambition to gain the love and affection his father never thought it important to give him. These twin unattainable desire characterize the inner nature of a man on a quest that can NEVER be fulfilled.
Any method that got him to be top dog in any situation became a GOOD method for Trump. No ethical or moral rules need apply. Any kind of callous double-dealing, outrageous lies, cynical betrayals, subterfuge of all kinds and underhand trickery was meat and drink to a man devoid of principle, save one. The single principle that drives Trump is to be on top, to do whatever it takes to climb that greasy, blood-spattered pole to power and stay there.
There is a fever for self-glorification in Trump, the admiration he never got from his cold-blooded father he now demands from the entire population of the world. A Nobel Peace Prize? He demands it. Those who donât give it to him he describes as foolish. The biggest inauguration crowd ever? He demands it was though everyone can see its a lie. Praise for bringing down price inflation and making America billions through tariffs? He demands it though both are blatant lies. Enough is never enough for Trump. He will always want more sycophantic admiration than he gets.
It is pitiful in one sense even as it sickens the mind to watch. Donald Trump will never get the praise of the one man he craves it from, his father. No matter what he does or thinks he has done, no matter how many million-dollar trinkets he buys or women he fucks or lies he tells or nations he attacks, undermines or occupies there will still be that perpetual gnawing at his insides that its not enough. He will spend ever second of the rest of his life unfulfilled, neurotically unstable while psychotically active demanding what his unfulfilled ego can never obtain, his own fatherâs praise.
This is a pathetic specimen of a man, a failure to his inner self demanding utmost recognition of successes that are pure mirage. He demands everyone fall to their knees praising him for ending wars no one has ever heard of. He demands the oil of another nation somehow belongs to him. He is willing to have people murdered on the high seas just because he wills it so to achieve his plans for greater glory. This is a man possessed by a devil he can never free himself from. The father that could have freed him from it is long dead and gone. Imprisoned by the need for this not to be so and the overwhelming, all-consuming need for it not to be so Trump is locked inside a torment from which he can never be released until his own death.
No amount of power, and just as important, admiration and respect for holding that power, will ever be enough for Donald J. Trump. He is a prisoner of a lust for power that consumes him even as he perpetually tries to convince himself in his own diseased mind that he now has the level of respect, admiration and worldwide acclaim he needs. But this point of time will never come, the Trump head will never be patted, nor will he receive the hug he craves and the recognition he longs for from his brutally and totally self-interested deceased father he is so consumed by. This is a man off the rails in search of a goal that was always unattainable, something that was NEVER to be yet which drives him destructively ever onward. This is the Trump obsession that can so damage first the USA but also our entire world.
AI Overview
Fred Trump was a highly successful, intensely ambitious real estate developer characterized by his stern, ruthless, and emotionally distant nature. His capacity for traditional affection was reportedly minimal; instead, he measured human value through financial success and dominance.
Character and Personality
âHigh-Functioning Sociopathâ: His granddaughter, clinical psychologist Mary Trump, famously diagnosed him as such, describing him as having no emotional needs and viewing peopleâincluding his childrenâas âexpendableâ pawns.
Ruthless Ambition: He worked seven days a week and expected his sons to be âkillersâ and âkingsâ. He had little tolerance for perceived weakness or failure.
Frugality and Detail: Despite his wealth, he was famously frugal, even learning to be an exterminator to avoid paying for service on his properties.
Capacity for Love and Affection
Known accounts suggest Fred Trump did not express love through typical warmth or emotional vulnerability:
Absence of Affection: Family members recall never seeing him express affection beyond a formal handshake. Mary Trump asserts that he âseemed to have no emotional needsâ and rejected emotional ties as a waste of time.
Money as a Substitute: In the Trump household, financial worth was equated with self-worth; money essentially functioned as a stand-in for love.
Conditional Approval: Approval was only granted to those who served his purposes. While Donald Trump succeeded by emulating his fatherâs ruthlessness, his elder brother, Fred Jr., was subjected to a âconstant barrage of abuseâ and contempt because he preferred a career as a pilot over real estate.
Impact on Parenting
Strict Discipline: Fred was a strict patriarch who abruptly sent 12-year-old Donald to the New York Military Academy after he became unmanageable at home.
Observation as Engagement: His primary method of âpaying attentionâ to his children was allowing them to watch him work.
Emotional Stunting: Critics and psychologists suggest this environment âshort-circuitedâ Donaldâs ability to experience a full spectrum of human emotion, replacing vulnerability with aggression and a âwin-at-all-costsâ mentality.
