UKRAINE: HAVE THINGS GOT SIMPLISTIC ENOUGH FOR THE WESTERN WORLD YET?

George W. Bush was the master of simplicity. You are either for us or you are against us. Everything was reduced to the level that the average person could understand, i.e. reduced to black and white, good and evil, right and wrong.

Evoking the memory of Hitler and Nazi Germany without which the rhetoric could never achieve the success it does now, most westerners are inclined to get in the same groove as their so-called superiors who “know what’s best for them”.

Being humble, never having given much thought to geopolitical issues, the majority are thankful that someone can explain things in cut and dried terms and let them know in what direction and to what degree to emote.

Knowing very little (by their own estimate) those now “informed” can emote regarding the black and evil foe they have been told about, that unredeemable and unrepentant monster ‘over there’ doing “bad things”.

Like the conductor of an orchestra the primary media sources channel what their state elites say is the message to deliver right on cue. They continue to deliver the “correct” pure white message from the direction of their state elites and the purest black message regarding their enemies.

The present situation in Ukraine, unlike the many regime change wars the USA, UK and their allies have waged in recent times is framed as in almost diametrically opposite terms. The West was framed as totally right to attack and invade Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and wage proxy wars in both Syria and Yemen… and this was in general the narrative complied with by western mass media.

Regarding Ukraine, the West is framed as totally correct to support the authorities in Ukraine who helped them in their goal of maneuvering Russia into a corner along with the numerous heavily armed extremist militias who revere the Nazi legacy of Ukraine’s past. A Nazi past that was predicated upon killing Russians and the attack upon Russia, Operation Barbarossa.

But hey, what are a few details when the average Joe and Jennifer have no interest in them?

All they want to know is who is the devil and who the saint, then they can emote to their liberal hearts’ content.

And western politicians and their compliant media are only TOO happy to tell them.
