UKRAINE MANIA IS LEADING TO A POST-FACT, POST-LAW, POST-RUSSIAN WORLD

Apparently if you are a Russian company or merely a Russian individual anything you have can be taken from you and given to Ukraine.

Whether you have anything to do with the Russian state or not, simply being a Russian company or a Russian means you are fair game to have all your money and anything you own taken away.

Neither international nor national law can help you if you happen to be a Russian citizen with assets of any kind abroad. Those assets can be taken just because of your nationality. Criminality is now open to be defined by western states, not by any canon of law.

While the assets of Russians can be relieved from them quite arbitrarily, such as those of Putin’s two daughters who have apparently been convicted out of court simply by being Putin’s daughters.

All this is an interesting aspect of the ‘rules-based order’ that western politicians such as Joe Biden say will be the foundation of a bright new future for our world. Presumably in that world also the judge, jury and executioner will be the United States exercising the power to decide on such issues quite above international law, the United Nations and any and all other institutions of this world designed to maintain a stable playing field of probity, justice and equanimity.

We are in the extraordinary situation of an entity, the United States of America stating that democracy is simply about it acting as world dictator with national mini-Hitlers doing its bidding and the rest of us simply obeying its demands.

Meanwhile the government and mass media of the USA is openly stating that it is altering information to suit the war against Russia and creating its own “facts” designed to dismay and confuse the enemy, and convince western populations of that enemy’s evil.

All the while a large minority of those they support in Ukraine are torturing and murdering Russian prisoners of war.

What kind of world is it that the USA is REALLY creating in this moment?

Is it really to be a democratic world based on ‘western liberal values’ or is it to be a criminal-run entity with a dictatorial master? Is that world to be the tolerant entity that so many hope for, or is to to be based on a very selective tolerance for obedience to certain requirements, and massive INTOLERANCE for all else?

Look around at what you see occurring now and the answer is clear.

Due to a rabid Ukraine mania we have entered a post-fact, post-law and potentially… a post-Russian world.
